I gotta disagree with the rest of the comments here. That phrase almost always means "I like you, and I want to give you my number, I'm just being playful and coy". I'd respond "Oh there's work involved? Well nevermind then. No wait, you're worth it. Ok what do I have to do, do I have to defeat your seven evil ex's?" You don't want to make a girl who's into you feel like you aren't that into her, or worse "I'm gonna play hard to get and say some uninterested shit so she'll chase me" -newsflash g…

She didn't make her plans with him a priority multiple times, I call that not giving a fuck. Still most people will feel bad when called out on flaking and try to make it up if only to not feel like a bad person, or maybe she was mildly interested in seeing him.

She was being honest. Honestly not giving a fuck about him. 3 flakes in a row due to being tired after doing events planned before the dates? You know that only happens when you really don't care about making that date. By calling her out she was compelled to make it up to him, he got the date where he could actually make some progress with her and change her mind.

I'm reading it now, and haven't read any pua books in a few years but used to read at lot. This book is connecting a lot of dots for me, easily the best. It is a lot different.

"Me and (co-worker) are going to (restaurant/bar) after work, you should come hang out." (plausible deniability that you're asking her out) Once you're out of the office and enjoying a few drinks these office rules will be way less of an issue. If it seems light kino is happening very easily, you're go for trying something. A woman will certainly understand why you thought it would be OK to try for a kiss if light kino was being reciprocated, if she doesn't end up accepting it then no big deal, …

I think you'd be surprised. For me and I'm sure a lot of guys, I don't pay a lot of thought to super hot girls that are full of themselves, the way you described hot guys. I'd much sooner fantasize about a cute down to Earth girl who has some attractive features but doesn't let that define her.

That makes sense, at US music festivals those numbers would have been worthless because everyone is from different places many hours apart.

Yeah, if you keep that one girl in your mind every time you have sex with another girl, counting down each new partner as a milestone towards getting over her, you will never be over her. You are keeping her importance in the front of your mind, and after sleeping with 36 girls you'll look back and say "I slept with 36 girls to get over her". That's not a great frame to truly get over someone. I know it's extremely difficult to get over someone you care about, but you have to verbalize your inte…

An introvert's baseline is being alone, and is stimulated by people. You need alone time to feel 'settled' again after being around people for too long. An extrovert's baseline is interacting with people. They are understimulated without people to interact with, so they can be around others indefinitely but won't feel comfortable without other people for an extended time. It's good to be able to adopt some extrovert traits, you just need to remember to build in some alone time so you don't get s…

If I want to learn how to do anything well, I'm going to practice it in the way that people who do that thing well do it. If you want to be better at swinging a baseball bat, you move the same way that pros move and learn the correct stance and motion. It will be awkward at first but you learn in that position because it's proven to be the most effective way to do it. You could say you're faking being a pro by using that stance, but over time you perfect that swing and it will feel like the most…

The point of the article is zeroing in on DTF girls. To that end, I think that a girl that's drinking is more DTF, not only because she's intoxicated but because DTF girls usually aren't choosing to not drink. Sure there are plenty of exceptions, the writer is just talking about prospecting targets if you want a ONS.

Marriage definitely favors a woman when a marriage fails, what about if it doesn't? I agree with your points about it not being as necessary and easier to move on after marriage these days, and to further your point it seems that there's often a financial incentive for women to get a divorce over staying married. People say love and raising children is the point of getting married and both of those reasons are often gone by the time the kids are leaving high school. Still, assuming the marriage …

Some men are capable of being in a committed relationship without cheating, and some women are capable of the same thing. Most people are capable of cheating under the right circumstances, but many people are very unlikely to also. I'd worry more about them just getting bored and leaving, it seems almost expected that this will happen these days, as opposed to 50+ years ago that rarely happened. It's a bummer, hopefully someone in this tread can offer some better insight on avoiding that.

Just like a hangover, break ups feel terrible and there's almost nothing you can do about it except wait it out. Like a having a bad hangover, you'd probably go back in the past and do things differently if you could but you can't change that now. And like a hangover, it usually lasts longer than you think it will. Also, the only thing that helps me feel better with a hangover or dealing with a break-up is some weed.

I would find it very weird if I saw a women's dating advice piece that referred to men as 'males'. Maybe not a good idea to refer to women as 'females'.

You could always go ultra AFC and try really hard with her. It's worked for almost every guy before, why try to reinvent the wheel?

He's not taking it seriously. It says he's thinking of losing the relationship after graduating, that's the opposite of serious.

Coming from a guy with a dream job that few people know exist (and I'm not going to let the cat out of the bag), awesome jobs that are attainable exist, you just have to keep looking, see what people you know are doing, and really think about what you want in a job. You'll find it eventually, and really work to get it once you've made a decision. My simple advice is look for what the day-to-day work is actually like and what you could agree to doing every day, not the romanticized idea of a prof…

When she says that, you're money. It's a neg, just like when a guy says a neg, but why bother framing it like that if she wasn't in to you? It's because she is into you, she just wants to see you step up to the plate and continue with the witty banter you've been using to prove you get it. My response would be "then I'm in. Cause I cheat. I've got aces up my sleeves for days." And move on to another subject, you don't want to linger on an affirmation of interest for too long, it becomes too seri…

Wow, this comes off as written by a very pissed off girl that feels like she got strung along. And I'm not saying that that is OP's situation, I just get that impression from a few things in the text. Here's my personal experience: I was very honest with a girl I liked but couldn't see a future with, and was very honest with a girl I wanted the whole love story thing with (and of course lots of casual to long term relationships too that aren't relevant right now). The truth is people will projec…

That is not what the term means. Pre-selection means you have been selected before, as in a girl will usually find you more attractive if she sees you have been pre-selected by another girl. What you're talking about is positively reinforcing a decision she was leaning towards by using cognitive dissonance, as in "I wouldn't have said yes to camping if I wasn't considering sleeping with him, so that must mean I want to sleep with him."

Yeah, I fucking hate the word deserve. The only time I use it is when people treat me unfairly, I'll think "I deserve better than that." Otherwise deserve is a useless concept. It's not about what you deserve, it's about using the skills and opportunities you have to create the life you want, to the best of your ability. Life isn't fair, fuck what you deserve. Most of the time life is better than you deserve anyway; who gives a shit, just enjoy it.

I think it's a bad idea, the truth always comes out eventually, and that's not a truth you want in your life.

This guy reminds me of those guys selling dead sea exfoliating stuff at the mall. Really pushy, in your face. He uses too many filler words. There's nothing wrong with being persistent, but he's not winning her over, he's making her more defensive than necessary. And she begrudgingly gives her number to him, not an ideal #close. Good for him for trying and by some miracle it might work, but definitely not a "favorite pick up" IMO.

Not just bring labeled easy, approach anxiety in a woman can stem from the idea that a woman is supposed to be able to decide whenever she wants to be able to get sex from whomever she chooses. If she puts herself out there and is denied, there must be something really wrong, as opposed to a guy getting turned down which is no big deal, happens all the time. This idea definitely psychs girls out sometimes.

"that was nice" and changing the subject is a good response, I'm hoping some more people can chime in here with other responses that work well... I don't want to escalate too hard if the logistics aren't there for sex to prevent buyer's remorse, but stopping abruptly and changing the subject can set a weird vibe. What do you guys do to smoothly transition?

I think the conversation, while interesting, may be too formal. You have to make it feel like hanging with a good friend rather than a new acquaintance if you want them talking freely. For instance, if you say something stupid, they won't free the need to prove they are smart around you. If you say something opinionated that isn't PC, they may feel at liberty to take a stand and speak their mind too. By being vulnerable and actively non-judgemental but rather interested and understanding, people…

Jesus, why not? She doesn't have any hot friends? She can't provide social proof for you and offer opportunities to do fun things and meet people? Deprioritize her and she might even come around to you. You'll learn to let this bleeding crush go, it's not like you were ever in a serious relationship with her.

Go for coffee? No. Let her know you're going to the bar across the street after work. (conversation goes like: something topical in your life, work is(...), you'll be in this area for a couple hours?(option for her to talk), I'm going to get a guiness when I get done, meet me over there. (don't raise your voice at the end as if it's a question, see what she says). She can offer other alternatives during her chance to speak or give an opportunity to meet after she explains she can't meet at the b…

To expand on the first one, an easier and effective way of knowing who likes who is look at where their feet are pointing. People give their attention to who they're attracted to, the feet will point right to that person.
