Since you're under the assumption you've already exhausted your three initial lives, I suggest going for the "continue" option. Print out an oldschool NES continue screen (like Contra, TMNT, etc.) with the "Continue? Y/N", and approach her with it. Pull a deadpan stare and maintain intense eye contact as you play the corresponding 8-bit theme music on a cheap boombox you've brought along.
