Depression doesn’t give a monkeys if you’re a man or woman, gay or straight, black, white or whatever. And crying doesn’t make you any less male or female, just human. You did read the article, right?

Talking doesn't make you a pansy, guys, it makes you human I have been there before. The insidious black cloud that stalks you incessantly. The thoughts telling you the world would be a better place without you. The frustration of people’s attempts to haul you out simply by saying “cheer up, things will get better.” I’m not alone, millions of others have too. In fact, you probably have yourself, if not someone you know. And it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Here is a statistic to chew on. Th…

Toxic masculinity is a social norm, not a nature.

The concept of toxic masculinity is used in the social sciences by proponents of Critical Theory to describe traditional norms of behavior among men in contemporary American and European society that are associated with detrimental social and psychological effects. Such "toxic" masculine norms include dominance, devaluation of women, extreme self-reliance, and the suppression of emotions. Can.t you see how this leads to mental illnesses?

I too hate toxic masculinity.

Males are basically animals who don't think rationally, but are controlled solely by their testosterone.

It's social roles that have been created by our ancestors. Our current generation needs to get rid of these gender roles.

Misandry isn't justifiable. Neither is misogyny. Learn to respect and trust other people.

This isn't even the correct use of the meme. Also the women I know are fine with splitting the bill.

Toxic relationships are the worst. Having a happy, loving relationship with a woman or living a satisfying single life is not. You're absolutely free to make your own personal lifestyle choices, but browsing this toxic subreddit regularly will not improve your life in any way.

If she doesn't want to talk to you, but to someone closer, what's the problem? You were clearly not the close friend she was hinting to and you can go on with your life, and she will have a conversation about this stuff that is clearly personal and confidential with someone she feels more comfortable with. You're not entitled to a conversation if she doesn't want you to have it.

Snooping is still a crime, no matter the circumstances. Cheating on someone is not.

I think everyone has the right to choose who they want to share their life with, however arbitrarily their criteria for choosing that person may be.

That dude who was married to Marie Curie actually was a pretty good scientist in his own right. I mean, who knows how much she helped him along, but I think he did some good things.

The pose is most often seen as an attempt to appear alluring, but also as a self-deprecating, ironic gesture making fun of the pose. It may be associated with sympathy, attractiveness, friendliness or stupidity. The New York Times wrote an interesting article about it.

Women will have sex with men for the very same reasons that men will have sex with women: if they feel a genuine love for them and a bond or a connection. Respect is just the bare minimum.

Yeah, why does anyone want to hire men? They're genetically disposed to be alcoholic, violent and suicidal.

This is America. Mr. Damore has a legal right to air his views, but Google does not have a legal obligation to employ him. Google's position that Damore's views would contribute to the creation of a hostile working environment for women is tenable - and if Google considers this outcome to be contrary to its business interests, Google has every right to exclude Damore from its workforce. Conservatives should cheer this outcome -- it is capitalism and the free market in action, pure and simple.

Will you accept any evidence of the contrary? I can show you unbiased sources that prove that you are wrong but it's not worth showing to you if you won't accept the veracity of the source.

I could also show a picture of trashy men, would that mean men are inferior parents? But hey, fathers hardly ever help in the household and education, so it might not be that incorrect.

There are many people who are too afraid to report rape, so the number of rapes could be even higher.

This is a bad interpretation of the picture. It's not literally impossible, but women have to put more effort in it. Women have to defy the gender norms and societal expectations ("STEM is not a women's study, do liberal arts instead"), women are still often discriminated against men with the same qualifications at job interviews, and mothers are often expected to sacrifice career opportunities to take care of the children. And usong the term feminazis doesn't make you look like serious. "Everyo…
