It reduces but does not eliminate the economic benefit of workers. I notice how you ignored my example. Even with the wage and material costs switched the benefit to others is equal to the benefit to the worker in my example. That is where the destruction of wealth comes from. 2	Federal funded birth control Labor is often cited as the largest or majority of costs to production. And production workers don't make minimum wage. What net benefit are you talking about here? The money going into and out of the state is not the net economic benefit of the member of society. For instance say I make a widget that sells for $5 at a retail store. Assume it takes $20,000 a year for a child to be brought up on welfare by the state. Assume that for they work full time at minimum wage for their working life. The cost to the state is $360,000. 1	Federal funded birth control Single payer isn't a fix-all for problems with healthcare. As an example US healthcare funds the majority of drug research. The profit margins available here help bring more drugs to market. They may happen to be cheaper elsewhere (say Canada) but that is only the company making extra profit on the side. As much as it sucks to benefit people who don't plan ahead, the child needs to be taken care of.
