Genetics are 5-10% in gym, nothing else. Rest is hard work and dedication. ONLY muscle (as far as I know) you need genetics for are calves - and that shouldn't matter at all. Just kiss her! If you have slightest feeling she wants it, go for it (obviously not in the first 5min). Worst that can happen is the same that would happen anyway (either kiss or no kiss). Maybe silly idea, but why don't you ask him which video games is he playing and if you can join him? I know women sometimes think playing games is childish - sometimes it is - but still, if games are part of his life (in that case it seems big part of his life), just try to enjoy it with him.
