How long did your divorce take?6 months. No children. Easy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/07/26 07:39 PM
How many of you bought your wife out of the house?I did. Bought her out with equity and refinanced. I love my house especially after a Reno. It's my happy place. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/06/26 08:29 PM
I’m (29M) considering divorcing my wife (28F) due to her failure to contribute anything to our marriage financially. Yes, I can support her and I make a pretty good living. My problem is that I should not need to support her at the level that I am, due to the context of our marriage currently.I've also been in the same position. She was working but only side jobs. Nothing substantial or permanent. No retirement or savings... Nothing. She wanted someone to take care of her and provide and I wanted someone who could provide for themselves and contribute equally. Ended in big D. Sucked but much happier. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/02/22 07:32 PM
Do I need a lawyer?Lawyer. Always lawyer up. Minds change, especially when the paper is in front of them. Lawyer up so you don't have to deal with the BS, lawyer does it for you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/11/21 07:37 PM
STBX Behavioral ChangesMy STBXW started making changes I had asked over a year ago. Doing chores, going to the gym, and overall attitude. All because of the seperation and impending divorce (VA). There is no way we're getting back together, because I was miserable in the relationship as was she. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/04/21 12:38 PM
Unexpected Costs and benefitsNot dumb my man. If you look good, you'll feel good. And that's ultimately what I assume you want is to feel good and happy. Do what you need to to find happiness. Cheers on the new wardrobe! | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/03/21 09:25 AM
