Im a veteran with diagnosed major depression. I feel this. Ive pretty much covered all my windows in my apartment so its pitch black at all times. I spend most of my time inside alone with myself and my thoughts. Im comfortable inside. I no longer trust society. I cant even escape society when i try to play one of my favorite games.

I have not. In my area there is alot of warehouse type work. Ive done pretty much just warehouse work my entire life so far and ive had to swear it off and stop doing it because it has destroyed me physically. Ive applied to plenty of office jobs, store jobs etc but i only get the warehouse type jobs offered to me. Im heavily thinking its because i had male on my apps i put in.

Men are the masters of efficency. Let me provide an example. When i was AD Army i was Field Artillery. We had a field problem and had some extra shells and so did a bunch of other sections. Our commander sent down this command to all the guns under him. "I want this grid square gone time now". We obliberated that grid square. Simple command. Nothing fancy. Thats why men are good at it. Simple and straight to the point.

I feel you. Im diagnosed with major depression. Ive had it for years now. Still struggle to fight it. As far as masculinity well i come from a military and firefighting family and background. The type of family that would get a decent cut on their arm and throw a towel and duct tape on it and go get it looked at later. Before i moved back to my hometown i was living with someone in another state and every month id pay half rent and utilities and i found out my roommate at the time wasnt putting it towards what it needed to go to but rather a girl he met and spent it on her and he almost lost the house due to it. Simply because alot of times it doesnt help. I stopped my VA mental health therapy because what he was trying to do didnt make sense. I wanted to talk about why i have my major depression and other things and we barely did that. Instead id just get homework assignments to just fill out more and more paperwork.
