As kids, we were in a hurry to grow up. That was a mixed bag at best. So I totally understand camping out at 16 for as long as you can. Society allowing it is another story, one that won’t end well.

I’m intrigued by “after he disclosed his wealth when I broke up with him.” How exactly did that go down? Was he trying to get you to reconsider?

I don’t see how this relates to “the observer effect.”

I can’t believe you would find very many people at all in this audience they would be in favor of those things. I’ll watch this for replies, though.

Around the world? Cults? Sure. Your question seemed posed to westerners in general, or Redditers specifically.

I think that you’re not the person OP was talking about - because there are (virtually) no such people.

“1) become the top 5% man” So you’re saying there’s a chance …

Believe me in the under 25 demo, you were not alone. I mean about not knowing shit about anatomy.

Is it so weird that women would want someone that they are attracted to? Would you go ask out a woman that you were not attracted to? I wouldn’t.

Where does the media tell you sex = love? Everything I see says the opposite.

Obviously, this depends on one's culture/upbringing. That said, everyone has a culture/upbringing. Not many advocate a chaste life. Trying to live against cultural norms is possible, but difficult.

It was a thing in the 80s

As an older guy, I feel for the younger generations if this is true. In the 80s … don’t get me started.

I have to think that the older women don’t like the younger ones poaching their turf.

As a criminal lawyer, I want evidence of non-consensual sex. Screaming is certainly evidence, even if not enough for conviction. With her testimony, that could be enough. But what’s his side? You know, it is ok to reserve judgment until you’ve heard both sides, preferably in court.

Old guy here, and I’d say that, while I’m not good at absolute ages, I could tell early 20s from early 30s. Now I’m sure there are many examples of people looking older/younger than their age, but I stand by the general principle.

Well, it’s cumulative, so at that age there’s been more chances.

Yeah, the idea that you can’t fall in love at work (where we spend the bulk of our waking week) is at least stupid.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
