I could be wrong, but since she said "...but I do like [restaurant]" isn't she almost implying you should take her there? Maybe something like "Never been to [restaurant]...you'll have to take me there some time. How's Wednesday night?" Overall good FR! Mimicking DB's moves on HB was great!

Music and a Redbull. Caffeine doesn't make me jittery like some people, but it does allow me to focus. The music pumps me up and puts me in the mood I want to be in and the Redbull focuses my mind. Just me though.

It's ok, man. I'll admit, if my buddy wasn't with me I probably wouldn't have been able to pull this off. But, if I would not have gone over and talked to them they would have never come over and talked to us. A few months ago I wouldn't have even gone over there.

When I head out to pubs alone I always try to find the bars with U-shaped or oval shaped bars. This allows you to have direct eye contact with the other side. It's so much easier making eye contact with a girl from across the bar. Once you make eye contact, giving a smile and if she smiles back...it's on at this point. Should I insert myself into other people's social groups and just chat up everyone, in order to see who is interesting? Should I focus on smaller groups, solos, or folks at the ba…

Nice work on initiating something. That is the first step. I would have maybe talked to her on the walk before just abruptly asking her out. You knew she was heading to class so you could have just said something like "Hey, what class are you walking to?" nice and loud with out tapping her on the shoulder. You could have then followed up with "Are all the girls in [said class] as cute as you?" and went from there.

I did invest some time mostly because we were all having fun, which is what it's all about right? It's funny you mention this, because I distinctly remember looking around at other girls on the dance floor giving me some intriguing eyes ;) I should have started opening other girls to see what would happen. Always next time.

Yeah I did # close. Heh forgot to mention that. One of my buddies that was with us is pure Alpha with more game than I've ever seen anyone with. He sent this to her from my phone on the way home "Hot tub is 110; perfect. U interested?" She had a positive reply, but was already getting ready for bed.

I remember sitting in class at a community college and this huge dude next to me smelled amazing. Felt a little awkward asking him what it was but he was cool about it and said all the ladies love Acqua Di Gio. Been wearing it for the last 10 years. Probably should look into something else just for a change.

Good for you man! I basically gave myself a speech similar to this about a month ago. Started off by just talking to everyone or even just looking people in the eyes, smile and nod. It was almost like a game to see how many strangers I could get a smile from, which was quite a few. It wasn't a huge creepy smile just a simple one as I'd walk by people in the grocery store, mall, etc. I couldn't believe the difference I felt just from those couple of weeks.

This is why I read every FR I can get my hands on. I try to find things that I could see myself doing. There are always things in them that I'm no where near ready for, such as the lifting and spinning the girl open...wtf? I can't even imagine myself doing that. But the "close your eyes" bit is a great K close that I could see myself using if the opportunity came up. Kino scares the piss out of me, so anything that helps with it is gold to me.

Thanks chumpta! Prior to this night I would have stood there with my hands in my pockets looking like a tard. I really didn't expect anything from the get go, so getting the number close was incredible. This is why I love seddit, positive and constructive feed back is encouraging!

Thanks for the advise! In the past I've had issues with oneitis, but know I realize it and don't expect it to be a problem. My idea was just to invite here to a happy hour. Figure if she doesn't show I'm already at happy hour :) Suggestions are welcome though.
