I think this is possibly the best response in the thread...it's not needy or corny; it's simple and honest, but essentially temporary. Not "I've been thinking of you", but rather, "this specific thing made me think of you".

Interesting...by making your secret vulnerability your exterior, you defuse the powerful dis-incentive of being "found out". It's kinda stupidly simple, and genius. Why do we shy from these things? We think, what? We're going to get made fun of for admitting them? It's about communication, a basic statement, without expectation or ulterior motive: You look great. Women will respond to the manner as much as the statement. Well done OP, I salute you.

"I would dedicate myself to her, apologize more, be overly compliant, and disregard my personal boundaries all to prove that I wasn't one of the regular guys." Very very well said OP. This is genuinely what most men think women want; but it manifests in exactly the ways women do not want.

Very effective - positively frames men's issues without seeming to detract from women's issues. Well done.

What's the likelihood you might get financial compensation? What's the possible award? Do the math...if it's not worth your time, then I'd say move on.

I've read that it's like being a child, emotionally, for your entire life...partly being unable to see part present emotional states and understand "I'm feeling bad now but I'll feel better soon so I don't need to kill myself/cut myself/whatever".

Unless you visibly hurried to beat her in line - still fair play - I'd say she was completely and totally out of line (har har). As for that guy in the parking lot, I'd have told him to mind his business.

True that. Studies and stats are the bedrock you'll find beneath many of the claims made in r/mensrights. It's what turned, for me, a passing interest in the movement into a deep respect. And doesn't that just drive SRS mad!

Stringer is strong and silent and purposeful, true. But he's the beta to Avon's alpha dog!

Erm...if you get so drunk you can't consent, aren't you the one being raped? The double-standard - the willful blindness - sickens me.

Be calm, like the lion, like Avon from "The Wire" or any other stone hard-ass, a busy man with important things to do whose be all end all is certainly not how he's perceived in a club. You don't have to be noisy to be alpha. You definitely don't have to be aggressive. What you need is a strong sense of self. Don't even notice any other alpha's as they walk in; or if you do, acknowledge them with the respect you reserve for equals.

It is a "line", true - but if you're just being a cheeky playful bastard - what got the girl interested in the first place - it's a bit weird for it to implode spectacularly at the last minute.

It's college bro, when you're in class, be learning what the professor is telling you! let me add my voice to what everyone is probably already telling you: none of these changes will cement overnight - but you're on the right path.

Ah, the gift of glibness. Takes practice, I'm afraid - but you'll learn soon which outrageous thing earns gasps of delight and which leaves you with stony, flinty, unforgiving stares. I would suggest: use what Reddit teaches you! All the random facts, the triva...like when people post reddit shit on their own facebook to seem interesting and funny? Do that in real life (except say you "read somewhere" that XX; NOT that you saw it on reddit).

Be strong, brother. You have a kid, and, regardless of whether the mother sucks, you have the chance to be an amazing dad, and that's no small thing. Your life isn't over. It's beginning. But...get a paternity test!

Interesting point - what I'd really like to see is some data on this. That's the best way to start making some in-roads into what is actually happening. As for why...well, pedo-hating has a very deeply-rooted place in lots of modern western cultures. Could be because of the particularly damaging, egregious nature of child abuse; could be because of the intensity of parental fears; could be shows/channels/newspapers exploiting this fear to makes $$$.

Man, you automatically stand out from all the AFCs out there! What would you counsel a short guy? Be confident, outgoing, when they ask questions turn it around to tease them. my guess is you probably get some female attention from it? Makes openers a lot easy when they open you!

Facebook that girl, send a message like "hey, i know you, been ages, how are you?" something real casual that gives the impression that you - being a normal, busy guy with a full life - literally stumbled across her in the "recommended friends" bit and literally thought what you are going to write in this message: "hey, i know you, been ages, how are you?"

nah, date from message works...just seems a bit forward, in my opinion. but shit, who knows. could work. someone wrote on here that texting/messaging shouldn't be used as escalation, just a means to getting her on the phone or in person. that jibed with my experiences.

Keep it short, simple, relevant, and above all - non-pushy, non-needy, non-creepy. How old are you? If you're in your 20s, I'd go with: "Hey X, cool meeting you at the party the other night. you got me thinking about [relevant topic: band, film, whatever], really cool chatting. hope you're doing well" or something like that. don't push to for a date on the first message - ideally, use the relevant topic to transition to a date in the next few messages. when she comes back to you with something l…

I wouldn't think about it. Someone who shouts "FUCKING LEAVE" obviously has some other shit going on - provided your game was right - non-clingy etc - then I'd chalk this one up to "people are sometimes weird", and be ultimately glad you did not end up getting with crazy.

Solid game from start to finish. Don't know about her crying at the end though mate...maybe you pushed it too far, or she was fragile, or something. I would consider it a learning-oppo for the future...leave them wanting more, not regretful.

Agree - drinking is not a crime (assuming 21 in the US); rape is. It seems an effort to steer the dialogue from "how can potential rape-victims prevent rape" to "potential rape victims should not have to prevent rape; rather, rapists shouldn't rape". I find the latter premise tautological and circular: anyone who agrees that rapists shouldn't rape isn't going to be raping in the first place. It's a sort of PSA, targeting the villains...rapists. I find this odd, as it seems to presuppose that the…

From reading your other comments, it sounds like conversation is the problem. Conversation is everything...the window you have earned with your approach to show them how they can feel when they're with you. Ask questions; tease. Cliches are ok. Boring openers are ok. "Hey, what's up?"; "How's it going?" "Hi, I'm WTFIsWrong669." Again: ask questions! "What do you get up to when you're not at the beach?"; "What do you do when you're not slinging fro-yo at the mall?"; etc etc etc. Make links with w…

Non-neediness: you are a planet with a core, a huge ball of iron at your gut that stablises you and makes it so even the most god damn violent dinosaur-killing comet can't do more than make you grunt. You have an orbit. You have gravity. You are doing your own thing, churning away in your own elliptical path, saying wassup to the stars and constellations. She's a satellite; a grizzled Soviet cosmonaut waving madly from her little manned craft. You can give a fuck about where she goes, etc - if i…

At all costs: no. Not at all costs. If there are certain financial realities you need to face - then, face them. You do yourself no good living beyond your means, trying to promote a facade. Think of it this way: you could be on your own in six months (what with your new job and all). Set a goal; let's say six months. Those months are a gift to you to improve yourself, work out, and most importantly - practice your game! Assume a second that you simply can't bring girls back home with you (not n…

Magic! This made me smile. I get your point though... magic is something you can show off in a bar, while maybe programming or psychology is a bit less hands-on. A passion, tended carefully, is a very attractive thing. Your AFC - or whatever you call it - comes across as passion-less, uninteresting, uninspiring. A passion gives you confidence, that need-less, outcome-independent spark...it gives identity, wholeness, present-ness. To put it differently, all of this PUA stuff is about purveying th…

I find your point interesting...it's all about the differential, the suddenly lightening of moods. Seems to me the "goofy funny" technique is probably the highest-percentage move...but for some women, serious-sexy-suave will work as well, or better.
/r/seduction21/07/12 06:57 PM

I think you're on to something - but I wouldn't say that seriousness is an indicator of "sexual dungeon master" (after all, some women might go for that!). Rather, seriousness just isn't "fun"...it doesn't take people out of themselves - which, in my estimation, is what adult extra-curricular activities like drinking and shagging are largely about. I think of it like negative re-inforcement...most people, to some extent, walk around in emotional pain - anxiety, depression, whatever. If you can b…

At 20, the situation ain't as dire as, say, 25 or 30. The girls you'll be after probably have dorm rooms or group houses. I'd say...steer the conversation away with amplification "No, I live in my grandmother's nursing home". Remember...if you're ashamed of it, she will be ashamed of it, and vice versa.

This would make a reasonably OK jeans commercial; as far as trying this shit out in normal night game....I don't think so. I did like the "let me tell you about yourself" bit though. People like to be told nice things about themselves. Not compliments: insights.

I agree with OP. I think the punctuational-less "bye" is very blah and uninspiring...I always think of it being said in the tone of Ross from "Friends" (when Ross is comically depressed).

12 dicks, average of 6 inches...you've gobbled, sniffed, or otherwise swallowed 6 feet of wang. That's not so much. Call me when you exceed 7'4" (otherwise known as the Andre the Giant Rule). In seriousness, it's good to learn about communication, how to ask someone what they want, how to make them feel comfortable telling you. You say you have mastered the skills of finding someone's desires - that's an important part of a relationship, in more areas than just the bedroom. So what I'm saying is…

Ask questions; let one topic transition into another. Ex. "So you work in health care? Can I ask: what's your take on Obamacare? Yeah, newspapers will always kinda distort it. That's why it's cool to talk to an expert like you. What do your co-workers say about it? Yeah? Do you like the people you work with? Do you guys ever hang out outside the office?" I don't know anything about PUA terminology or whatever. Keep your opinions intentionally neutral/palatable, unless your get the vibe your conv…
