Ask her whether you could support her morally or whatever shit you can come up with. If you can cook a cake or mix a cocktail that's a bonus and make sure to use it when wording. There's a great chance that she wants to get "revenge" on her ex (not you) and there's nothing better than riding another ex.

Firstly, looks don't matter (they won't affect your game) in the sense that if you have average looks you'll be doing just fine. Just don't do it. A chick is never gonna hook you up with another. Unless you are very experienced (likely not, since you are asking for 'help' at first place) and want to steal her from her boyfriend, and in the end if it works you keep her; if it doesn't you keep her friend (and then her! ;)
