| 35 | Tired of the men obsessed with women “reciprocating”I pretty much did almost all of the above and I’ve only ever had one thoughtful gift from one guy. I’ve never had flowers, I’ve been ignored on the obligatory v day, and I’ve never been taken out to anywhere fancy. Ive paid, I’ve cleaned, I’ve bought gifts for nothing in return and it hurts. I’m not doing that again unless he does it for me. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 05/01/22 11:48 PM |
| 139 | I’m so sick of hearing praise for the most basic behaviourYou’re right. It’s a trap that I’m trying to get out of. I think it’s because when you’re used to abuse the basics already feel like the bar is high. My male colleague (always talk to him about this stuff) is the one reminding me that whatever I just said about the guy is the basic minimum requirement. Since my brain is no longer in survival mode I’m trying for a higher bar now but it’s easy to fall back into old patterns Edited for mistakes | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/12/21 08:26 AM |

And for anyone reading this… any links to something that would help train me our of emasculating behaviour? I seriously have issues with this. Eg a guy tries to open the door for me but I get there first … | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 22/12/21 05:57 AM |
| 22 | 50/50 trap, listen to this queen! Most families in Hong Kong have a live in helper for this. The culture is so different but the quality of men seems the same in general except for that the majority of the time they are so much better behaved here compared to the west (I’m from the U.K. lived in London and Cardiff which is so damn scary at night and been followed plenty of times). Like you can walk down a dark ally at 2am without fear of attack. Even though I’m having a stalking situation right now, it really is an anomaly for t… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 18/12/21 12:46 AM |
