1	What the %#* am I projecting here? She was a 2nd choice, on account of 1st choice having just then stood me up. I figured it was a long shot. But it’s weird to say yes just to make a fella drive across town and sit down at a restaurant by himself again. Could have just said she was already in bed or something. 1	What the %#* am I projecting here? Long drive for me, not very long for her. And we had been in contact, all day. But what can you do. Message on the way out the door might be a good idea, if nothing else it might have saved me a tank of gas. I wonder about that drive. Sometimes I think that by being willing to drive an hour I’m communicating a level of investment before the the woman has a chance to reciprocate it.
