whatsa 'DGD' ? And I absolutely agree with this, they seem to be able to move on so easily afterward as they've already done all their detachment and grieving, if there was any before they even give you the breakup talk. Once they 'breakup' talk is done they most likely feel relived and light footed as a weight has been lifted off their shoulders. They immediately move into 'seeking mode' where the guy is often left dumbstruck, 'what just happened'.

Very true you're correct, it is keeping me away. I'm looking for an LTR thus I'm more concerned about how dames will be spending their money, as if I want to "keep up with the Jones's" I'll have to spend likewise. If I was just out for hookup's I'd care less what they did with their money, but I'm looking for a bit more than hookups at my age. Been there, done that.

The harsh reality of retirement is going to hit millions of Westerners square in the face in the coming decades, and his them hard to. If one spends their retirement funds on vacations now, their in for a good 2-4 decades of meager at best living, and gov assistance if they are lucky. Were living longer and longer in the West, if we keep retiring at 65 and live to 85 or 95, that's 30 years of life living below the poverty line. Not fun.

I hear ya, I hear ya. The reality is most folks don't realistically have that much surplus cash laying around to take multiple vacations a year. So those that do despite middling salaries are not saving for their futures, thus irresponsible. I see it like Tattoos on a Woman, or Obese Women. Shows poor impulse control and giving into short term gratification at the expense of long term security. Alpha Vacations vs. Beta Retirements i guess lol.

Another thought is 3) Women who travel often and move from city to city. What are they searching for, looking for, want to find. Is it just simple excitement? or is there something else at play here. Are they running away from something. Are they always on the move to avoid introspection? constantly distracting themselves with new surroundings and new people?

I can identify with the anger phase, I came to this shit really late (post 40) and I lament the fact all the available Women who are 40+ are Alpha Widow's, Single Mothers, Carrer Focuses (Women trying to be Men) and other low value Women. In the end I accept I was then and am now the captain of my own ship and am ultimately responsible for my lot in life. The question for all of us now is, where do we go from here?

There will always be a Beta in the wings willing to accept and enable that poor behavior, that's the problem. If all men were Alpha dominant then perhaps what you hypothesize could take place. Also Women cover for other lying Women as in the grand scheme of things such behavior is to their advantage, that it to manipulate males for protection and resources. So it will be very difficult if not impossible (as it has so far in all our evolution) to stamp out that lying bitch behavior altogether.

I agree with TimPartendale I deleted pics of the big love of my life (actual written letters and photographs) on the advice of my Shrink and I've deeply regretted it ever since. I'm 90% over it now so it wouldn't bother me to look at the pics or letters link it used to years ago. But it would be nice to remind myself that I was worth that sort of attention and loyalty from a Gal and I can have it again if I want it.
