| 0 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?The kind that supports your claim? | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 11:49 PM |
| 0 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?You’re the one making the claim here | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 11:21 PM |
| -9 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?So then it should be really easy to find at least a survey confirming this right? | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 11:12 PM |
| -1 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?Yeah when you multiple anything like that you can make it a bigger number | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 11:11 PM |
| -13 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?You say it’s common, but is it actually? Do you have anything to base that on other than anecdotes? And reading the OP, it seems to hint quite the opposite if I’m honest. He outlines a single occurrence, asking others if this is common. That’s not really something you do if it’s a common occurrence | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 10:24 PM |
| -4 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?That is pretty neat, although we’re talking about 7 minutes per day here, hardly enough to be meaningful | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 10:22 PM |
| -6 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?Do you have a source on the average commute? But even then, the money earned isn’t really relevant here, and thats my point | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 09:27 PM |
| -10 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?I don’t see how that is really relevant here? People have arguments about dumb things when they are stressed or just have a bad day, that’s completely normal. The argument doesn’t have to be reasonable | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 09:01 PM |
| -9 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?That isn’t super relevant to the discussion at hand though, is it? We’re talking primarily about hours worked here, not money earned. It’s hardly fair to say you have to do more chores because you made less money, even though both of us worked for 40hr/week. | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 08:20 PM |
| -15 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?Holy shit, this guy had one completely normal argument that ended respectfully with no real hurt feelings and this entire thread instantly jumps to divorce… If this is how you handle issues and bumps in your relationships, don’t be surprised when they don’t last 30 years | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 08:09 PM |
| 0 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?Is it your claim that almost no household can fairly distribute chores, and that this is related to the education of the woman? That sounds… pretty crazy, do you have anything to back that up? | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 08:02 PM |
| -21 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?What exactly do you mean by frequent conversation here? In the OPs post? If so, where does he say this is frequent? In society in general? What are you basing that on exactly? | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 08:00 PM |
| -4 | Men, have you had the conversation about 'your fair share of chores'?Or it’s complete normal, one person has a bad day and found something unfair without really thinking about the whole situation, then was a bit reluctant to back down again, as is completely human. | /r/MensRights | 28/02/23 07:57 PM |
| -6 | I'm chatting right now with a cis man who's being actively and violently abused by his wife. He's in the US. What are some resources I can refer him to? Barring that, how can I best support him as a woman talking to him?Yeah screw trans people and their… desire to be treated as human beings? | /r/MensRights | 27/02/23 08:54 PM |
| 2 | I'm chatting right now with a cis man who's being actively and violently abused by his wife. He's in the US. What are some resources I can refer him to? Barring that, how can I best support him as a woman talking to him?Do you not realise the irony of wanting people to stop using specific words regardless of context, while at the same time opposing “woke morons”? | /r/MensRights | 27/02/23 08:53 PM |
| 1 | I'm chatting right now with a cis man who's being actively and violently abused by his wife. He's in the US. What are some resources I can refer him to? Barring that, how can I best support him as a woman talking to him?But why? Is it relevant information? Yes, if he was trans there would be other organisations who could help (wether you think that is right is irrelevant) Did you understand what OP meant? Yes, you clearly do. So what is the problem here? Can we stop this idea that words themselves are somehow harmful or should be avoided? You sound exactly like the people wanting to ban the N word regardless of context… you’re better than that, don’t stoop to those levels | /r/MensRights | 27/02/23 08:50 PM |
| 12 | Just had an ex colleague phone me up asking me about my new job offer. It is completely normal behaviour and there really isn’t anything wrong with it either. There are plenty of valid reasons you might want to know how much someone makes at a specific position, and you have nothing to lose by sharing it. Please talk about your salary and benefits with anyone in remotely the same field! The only people who benefit from you keeping it a secret is your employer | /r/MensRights | 20/02/23 04:18 PM |

OP: Sentemced by the media and feminist politics. The same evidence as in every other rape trial? A good start would be to prove that intercourse actually happened. The provlem is that we have seen cases like this, where a mans life was ruined because of a ton of false allegations, so the amount of allegations should never be used as an argument. One that was popular is the “mattress girl” story from a few uears back now. The literal math says the probability of this guy not having done anything wrong to these women is near zero. They have proved some, he’s been expelled and shit for it. It’s hardly serious if the only consequence is being expelled, besides, you can be expelled from unproven allegations, the school system doesn’t care about justice, only it’s own image, let’s be honest. | 1 | Every guy I know has been screwed over either emotionally and financially. Men’s opinion of women as a whole in today’s society is not good at all.Abuse is a abuse, thats not my argument. I’m arguing that just calling someone abusive is counterproductive, no matter who does it. I don’t care if some feminists are also doing it, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re better than them, please don’t prove me wrong there. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/21 11:58 PM |
| 1 | Every guy I know has been screwed over either emotionally and financially. Men’s opinion of women as a whole in today’s society is not good at all.Two wrongs don’t make a right. Your entire argument is based on “they are doing it to us so we should do it to them”, which just doesn’t sit well with me. I’m afraid you’re doing the very men you aim to protect a disservice by not targetting the root cause. I don’t care what feminists say or do, I care about the people in abusive relationships, and the way to fix them. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/21 11:19 PM |
| 1 | Every guy I know has been screwed over either emotionally and financially. Men’s opinion of women as a whole in today’s society is not good at all.Because that was the part I originally commented on? I’m not talking about individual cases here, so there is no reason to bring them up. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/21 10:12 PM |
| 1 | Every guy I know has been screwed over either emotionally and financially. Men’s opinion of women as a whole in today’s society is not good at all.Noone is asking you to minimize anything. If you’re in an abusive relationship, you should absolutely identify that and leave, but just calling someone “abusive” misses the bigger picture and actual problems. There are reasons for abusive behaviour, which we as a society need to understand and stop hiding behind just calling someone abusive. What facts am I getting wrong here exactly? | /r/MensRights | 12/07/21 08:07 PM |
| 1 | Every guy I know has been screwed over either emotionally and financially. Men’s opinion of women as a whole in today’s society is not good at all. This is just counterproductive and fueled by revenge, we don’t need to start calling more women abusive, we have to stop calling men abusive. Calling someone “abusive” is just such a non starter, it completely disregards the underlying reasons a relationship is abusive, there is more to it than one person being “abusive”. In general, people don’t intentionally hurt each other for the sake of doing so, at least not to the extend that we see domestic abuse. | /r/MensRights | 12/07/21 05:38 PM |

| 1 | Thanks to u/dopedips. On a real though this is why I believe such allegations should be kept private until a final judgement is made via a court of lawYes, you have to sell all non exempt property, which varies by state. I oversimplified a lot, as my main argument is just that you don’t just “declare bankruptcy” and be done with it. The laws vary a lot by state, country, and how you file, but in general you have to make an honest attempt at paying back your debt before you can file. This usually includes spending all your disposable income, abd potentially selling non exempt property. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 01/07/20 10:27 AM |
| 0 | Thanks to u/dopedips. On a real though this is why I believe such allegations should be kept private until a final judgement is made via a court of lawIf someone destroyed half your house, would you not rather have them pay you for damages, than have then go to jail and you being left with the bill? | 1 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionI disagree that “murder is murder” as you say. I really do belive murder is one of the most nuanced crimes we have. There are so many different ways you can murder someone, and I don’t think they should all get life in prison for it. So yeah, first degree murder is very rarely charged, because it very rarely happens. I don’t think anyone deserves 25 years for involuntary manslaughter for example. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 09:40 AM |
| 1 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionI cannot see how that wouldn’t have a toll on her mental health. Because she is 2 years old... I’m not saying it’s impossible that it can have an effect, but I highly doubt it, as things that happen at such a young age rarely lead to demonstrable long term harm. You’re making too many assumptions, you clearly don’t actually know my position on this, so calm down a bit. Yes, this is clearly rape, in no way do I disagree, literally all I said was that this likely wouldn’t lead to trauma. As for th… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 09:35 AM |
| 1 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionShe got what she deserved, thats a PPD IMHO. Not sure why everyone is trying to argue it’s not lol. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:16 AM |
| 1 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionIt is more than one crime, and the minimum punishment for (first degree) murder is 25 years, so while technically longer, it’s picking at straws. If you see people getting much less time for murder, it was likely manslaughter or some other “indirect” murder. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:15 AM |
| 4 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionAttitude aside, we really don’t have the context required to judge if this is justified or not. This is at least rape of a very young minor plus distribution of child pornography, plus any other potential miscellanious charges not mentioned in the article. Add on to that the fact that sentences regularly get cut short because of good behaviour/parole/bail and you’re not actually looking at 26 years. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:11 AM |
| 3 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionFor what it’s worth, this is a different crime than usual (or rather, crimes). It’s rape of a baby, which I believe is classified differently than rape of children, I know some countries at least differentiate between children over and under ~12 years. It’s also sharing child pornography. On top of this, there are probably details we don’t have that would have come up in trial. I do agree though, that it’s likely not a double standard but actual justice. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:08 AM |
| -2 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionProving trauma at that age is nearly impossible. As is usually the case with these things, we don’t have nearly enough context to judge if the punishment is fair, for that you’d need to be at the trial. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:04 AM |
| 0 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionHow is opposing prison vigilanties and mob rule the same as defending a child rapist? I get that it’s a sensitive subject, but that doesn’t mean you can just throw logic out the window. If the punishment isn’t fair, you change the punishment, you don’t rely on mob justice. The prison system is for justice, not revenge. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 01:00 AM |
| 3 | She got locked up for a long time but it still isn’t enough in my opinionIt is not unfortunate. The prison system is for justice, not revenge. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/06/20 12:56 AM |

| 1 | I'm seeing more and more of this: feminists using "mansplaining" accusations to deal with being publicly proven wrongYou speak like your approval is relevant. Ok? It's about closing the gap between genders being up in arms at each other. By assuming anyone who insults women are doing it because of their gender... aight. Your assumption that it was based on action and not genitals is just as baseless as assuming the other way around. But we know it was one or the other. So since the speaker didn't make it clear, i pointed out that it sounds sexist. Something something Occams razor. Maybe you have a very narrow … | /r/MensRights | 09/09/17 06:21 PM |

| 1 | UK: Abused husband, 45, who suffered 12 years of beatings at hands of his hard-drinking teacher wife set up a spy camera to film her campaign of violenceI wouldn't say this is much of a problem, tbh. I haven't seen anyone portraying alcoholic mothers nicely, but I could be wrong. My point is, that men usually drink a lot more, at least openly, and so it makes sense to focus more on that. I wouldn't say it's frowned upon either, unless it's a huge addiction or something. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/17 07:44 AM |
| 1 | UK: Abused husband, 45, who suffered 12 years of beatings at hands of his hard-drinking teacher wife set up a spy camera to film her campaign of violenceI wouldn't say the burden of proof is ridiculously high for men, maybe a bit too high, but stuff like this really needs to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, as it could, and does, lead to tons of innocent sentences. But I totally agree the burdon of proof for women is laughably low. | /r/MensRights | 09/09/17 07:41 AM |

| 2 | Male Privilege SummaryThe goverment is very different from institutions. It's a lot harder to refuse an MP because they "aren't good enough for the job" than it is to refuse a teacher or engineer. Even in public fields, it's still much easier than in goverment. Having gone to both a private and public schools, I can personally say that (with one or two exeptions) private school teachers are miles better. | /r/MensRights | 05/07/17 09:56 AM |
