Question: How do you feel about "never say no?"My feeling is - barring illness or injury - why on earth WOULDN'T I want to sleep with my husband? It makes me feel good, it makes him feel good, it brings us closer as a couple.. win, win, win. | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/11/14 01:10 AM
I've made many mistakes, but I want to start admitting them and change for the better for myself and my SO.First of all, good on you for recognizing and admitting these flaws! It's not easy, I know. And I truly believe it's not too late. I also came from a VERY non-red pill household, and started out in my relationship very controlling and even manipulative (just like my mom!). I felt 'safe' when my husband was basically under my thumb, and I'm sure he was miserable. I hate to remember it, and also consider myself lucky he didn't just leave. You are taking all of the right steps. Don't try and force … | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/11/14 08:58 PM
Do men get resentful having a woman be a SAHM?I have always worked part-time. I am home with our daughter during the day, and when he gets home from work, his day is OVER. He doesn't have to worry about anything - house is clean, clothes are folded, dinner is prepped, wife and baby are happy. We can't afford for me to not work at all, but he has never expected me to work full-time. That would mean having our daughter in outside care for 10 hours a day, spending all our weekends doing laundry and standing in line at the grocery store, and ba… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/10/14 01:17 PM
Facebook and Apple Now Pay For Women to Freeze EggsYikes.. I don't even know what to think! I mean, I guess it's nice to have the option - VERY nice for fertility issues, late marriage, etc - but it seems to also be avoiding the real issue. Thawed eggs only have a 75% fertilization rate and 65% successful pregnancy/birth rate (according to uscfertility.org), and I'll bet Apple and Facebook aren't advertising that. It's all, "Hey, don't worry about it, invest your best years here and have a baby later on" like it's a guaranteed thing. Very intere… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/10/14 01:54 PM
Cleaning his house?Eh, she was probably just trying to make a good impression and impress him. There are certainly worse ways she could go about it! I wouldn't clean a completely disgusting apartment (because that's a good sign he's probably not the guy for me), but general tidying? I think that's always helpful and appreciated! | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/10/14 11:20 AM
Cleaning his house? When my husband and I were in college, I used to surprise him by doing this once every month or two. I'd head over to his apartment when I knew he was in class and clean his room, throw in a load of laundry, and deep clean the kitchen. He LOVED it, and his roommates thought I was just about the best thing since sliced bread. I get what you are saying, but I think it's pretty extreme - and a little silly. Cleaning is an easy and feminine gesture with a big impact! | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/10/14 11:16 AM
"...maybe couples that have modest rings and receptions feel that their boundless love is a celebration enough."Together 3+ years at time of marriage (met at 18, married at 21) Definitely on the left side of the income chart. =] Married as practicing Baptists and are now agnostic/atheist. Obviously marrying based primarily on looks/wealth is a bad idea! Under 100 guests (all family, really) My parents paid for the wedding My in-laws sent us on a cruise for a honeymoon The religious attendance statistics are very interesting, and here is my take: I think that if you are devout, your marriage feels stronger… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/10/14 10:59 AM
Getting up with husband before work..."Hell no. He's grown & can get himself off to work." Ouch! My husband gets up at 5 and is out the door by 5:30 every morning. When he first started this shift I started getting up just to see him off, but it was pretty silly. He doesn't like to talk first thing in the morning, didn't need my help with anything, and said he felt guilty waking me up. Now I just make sure he has clean/pressed clothes and a packed lunch the night before. =] | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/10/14 01:46 AM
What are your goals for the week?Relationship Goal: Stop harping on my husband for passing out on the couch as soon as he gets home from work. For some reason I get EXTREMELY frustrated by this, which is totally unfair. I only work part-time, and I'm not up at 5 am every day to be there! Personal Goal: Basically just don't spend any money outside of the grocery store! We are really trying to save money and pay off a bit of debt, and every little swipe adds up. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/10/14 05:14 AM
Beer Recipes Anyone?Beer battered fish, beer bread, beer cheese fondue, beer cheese soup, beer cheese macaroni - good luck! Sounds fun and I'm sure he will love it. | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/10/14 03:39 AM
WE HIT 7500 SUBSCRIBERS!! Lurkers and Newbies--Come Out and Say HI!Hi! 28 years old, started dating my husband when we were 18, and married when we were 21. We have a beautiful four year old daughter, and think she will be our 'one and only'. I stay home with her during the day, and work weekends as a children's librarian. I was definitely NOT raised in a RP environment - at all - but I just knew that, for me, modern feminism had nothing to offer. My goal in life is really just to make my husband and child's days (and lives) easier. I want them to have a clean … | /r/RedPillWomen | 06/10/14 03:04 AM
RPW and motherhood?I'm late on this but my number one piece of advice is to get up earlier than your children (okay, maybe not the baby!). That can be HARD - you're already exhausted - but your day will get off to SUCH a better start. Before they wake up, have your coffee, throw in a load of laundry, and schedule out your day. I promise it will make a huge difference! Then, a few minutes before your husband gets home, turn on the TV for the kids (20 minutes won't hurt!) and do a quick sweep through the house tidyi… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/14 12:54 AM
An interesting argument for having kids youngerI'm 28 and have a 4 year old daughter (our 'one and only'). I'm happy with the way things happened but looking back, yes, it would be a LOT easier to have a baby now than it was at 23! We were so, so broke, and had to sacrifice more time with her than I wanted to. I think 27 is a fine age! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/14 12:43 AM
Packed lunches and other ways to look after your SOMy favorite is a 'cold picnic' lunch. Good deli meat and cheese with crackers, hummus, grapes - delicious and no waiting on the microwave. A baked potato and caesar salad is also a favorite! | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/09/14 02:16 AM
How many of you got married young?I got married at 21, and my husband was 22. We had been together since we were 18 and were living in the South at the time, so it really wasn't very unusual. Now that we live in the Midwest, I hear a lot more commentary on it - but more surprise than anything else. Getting married that young (to the right person!) was the best decision I ever made. I have NEVER regretted the chance to 'date around and experiment'.. I guess I'm just not that kind of girl (I don't think many rpw are!). It's been s… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/09/14 02:53 AM
