Quit worrying about whether you're alpha or not. Then work on being assertive.

Someone else here brought up you burying the lede here...and you completely did. I'm sorry about your son...I couldn't even imagine what that must be like... But did you ever think for a second that THAT is the driving force behind everything? IMHO losing a loved one can make people so emotionally needy that they do shit they would NEVER do otherwise (addictions, cheating, etc.). She might have still been grieving while you were insecurely worrying about your SMV. As a result, she feels abandone…

Don't overthink this. Those are all greenlights. Escalate. Don't worry about the mixed signals. Escalate until you get a clear red light.

You'll survive. It's already weird for you, in a way. It'll only be weird if you get rejected and stay hung up on her. Trust me, you won't be able to hide your feelings forever. Get them out now before your window closes.

I'm not sure you're in the friendzone. Only one way to find out - lay the cards on the table. If you get rejected, play it cool and move to the next girl.

My point is that it's hard to know when you have great form without someone watching when it matters. Form is always important, but you can get away with less than great form on some exercises at heavy weights. Not squats or deads.
/r/MarriedRedPill26/12/16 01:17 AM

IMHO, deadlifts and squats are high risk high reward exercises that should only be done with a lifting partner. Reason being, you really should have someone there to help you keep your form in check. When the weights get heavy, your margin for error shrinks but you tend to revert to bad habits - that's why so many folks get injured with these exercises. I've fucked up my back deadlifting, got a hernia squatting, and had shoulder pain from pressing. I had studied proper form and practiced it at l…

Yeah bud. It's pretty tactical. You can even skip to the chapters on how to respond to specific scenarios. It's based on clinical psych, but doesn't recommend any pussy shit. All about understanding motivations so you can maintain frame and advocates self-care / "loving detachment." You can still RP, but lay off the active dread. Oh and become an expert at telling the difference between shit tests vs insanity - as each call for different playbooks. All in all, if it's too challenging, just withd…

Dude. I know it's hard. I fell for the allure of a crazy chick, knocked her up, then married her. And by crazy I mean institutionalized on several occasions both before and after we met. Literally whored herself for drugs behind my back. In and out of eating disorder rehab for years. Can't work. On disability. Life vaccuum. I only stick around because she's mediocre enough as a parent, but I want to patrol her to make sure. Only 7 years until our only child is 18! Then I move on while only being…

Interesting article, I guess, but a bit strawmanish. None of my bros or any other guy I know buys into the "She's the boss mentality" without a heavy drip of sarcasm. I don't really know any real life BP men, just guys who haven't found out RP exists. Guess I'm lucky because thfay shit makes me sick

I don't disagree that courts need to be more fair towards men; but it's also cultural. Men, for instance, get "alimony shamed" (e.g. Nick Lachey) by the media. Women who make less then their men but still make livable wages should not get alimony. Conversely, men who forego careers to raise kids, should get alimony like their female counterparts. We need to further engrain that concept with feminists, unfortunately, to have any groundswell. As far as advising young men not to get married, it's c…

I read the wall of text - interesting story. But this is about the fourth or fifth "A Ha" moment you had. Is MRP becoming your new validation addiction source? Careful with applying RP with mental disorders, they don't always apply (e.g. BPD women) or can't cover everything - loke in your case. For instance, you keep talking about not being alpha enough for your ex. But really, she's not looking for your typical alpha - it looks like she's looking for an alcoholic and probably has daddy issues. …

I've been in your shoes and only just recently turned a corner. The key is to truly stop giving a fuck about fucking her. You can't fake it. It's different than just STFU, but STFU is a huge part of it. Do it and the power shifts back. Look - it sounds like she's trying. But she's bored. Refocus on doing what makes you interesting, especially if it gives you some distance from her.

"There's an air that things have changed..." Well - ya. I don't care who you are, openly questioning paternity like that is a big deal if you're married or in an LTR on good terms. I know it's tough man - but keep your feelings in check and get the test on the DL.

Quit the out of my league bullshit. If she's so fucking special and above you then why is SHE calling YOU in the middle of the night asking for a ride? Did she just finish her booty call that refused to drive her home? Too broke for a cab? Friends tell her to fuck off? Or does she just want to bone? Regardless, she ain't above you. Oh and she probably got pumped and dumped by the drummer. Don't text her to meet up. She's hedging her bets and you're better than that. Tear this bitch down from the…

Next time she's in your bed, pull out your penis and yell "Behold!" Or just kiss her, then take her shirt off and play with her tits while running your other hand all over, occasionally teasing the handslide. After five minutes, go for the handslide. Find her clit and rub around the nub in a clockwise motion, ocassionally bringing it onto the clit to heighten her. Most girls will start going for your dick at this point. When she does, let her rub it a couple minutes, then take your pants off. Gi…

I've been YOU before. Do not trust her or the text she had the guy send to throw you off the trail. I'd bet my house she's banging this guy. What did Biz Markie say? Anyway, detach from her and any other girl mentally. Do you. College girls aren't good for commitment. Be cool with her, but just bang her.

Let me play devil's advocate here. Women that were previously abused as children or traumatically raped often shut down (dissociate) when they get triggered. That's a proven fact, the same thing can happen to shellshocked vets. In those cases, you gotta give the lady some benefit of the doubt and call it something other than consensual sex. But still, I agree that rape or any charge against the male would likely be an injustice.

It seems foreign to us as men, but some women freeze up under pressure and also have a hard time saying "No". Encouraging ALL women to clearly set the boundaries under all circumstances is a good thing. It can minimize "accidental rape."

Thats sucks man. Going through something kinda like it myself; strap yourself in for a wild ride. Ya, definitely consult a lawyer to get her ass evicted. Also - you can dump her no matter what. Then she's just an unwanted roommate.

Just curious, how new of a car did you buy yourself? Can't fully blame wifey here. You gotta think like a captain here - what does the squad need? If you're driving a Lexus and she's driving a Ford Escort, you dug your own grave here... IMHO, you would have been better off upgrading both cars and distributing the value equally. Im other words - with 15k get two 7.5ks instead of one 15k while maintaining the shitbox. You both work.

Trust your gut. Do the covert ops, but more importantly, really think about how this will play out financially and kids-wise. I'm not going to be popular with this opinion, but sometimes you're just better off staying married and "mentally" divorcing her. Hit the gym, stop doing nice things for her beyond what the kids need to see. Get your own side pieces. Start stashing your slush fund if you can. Being angry and suspicious is toxic, just focus on yourself.

We can agree to disagree. These cases are the exception, not the rule. We could talk all day about the stupid shit clogging the legal system, it doesn't mean the likelihood is raising substantially for the average man. To me, street justice is the greater concern. But we all know - don't stick your dick in crazy.

I hear ya, but don't have the same fear. In reality, most rapes are extemely difficult to prove and as such don't get pursued. Thats why many REAL victims don't even bother reporting it. That's why I don't believe this broad - she's all over TV. Now, Roethlisberger's victim - totally believable. Did not want to be seen and opted to settle.

Yup. I personally have no problem with expanding the definition of "non consensual" sex. Its a good thing that rape is not just the stereotypical physical attacker scenario. The problem is that the "perpetrator" is treated the same, regardless. Can a man have sex with a girl, not realizing she's not really in a position to consent? Sure. Lets say girl is blacked out drunk but still functioning. Guy is drunk too, and can't tell she's too drunk to fuck. Did she consent? No. But did the man assault…

It's not always just weakness or paranoia. Unless it's a physically forced rape, the evidence is often too weak for court. It's he said she said. Plus victims often blame themselves. I'm more skeptical when the woman is extremely willing to go public with a highly circumstantial case.

As an ADHD diagnosed person that is now quitting adderall after less than a year on it, my advice is "skills not pills." I personally found adderall to initially be helpful, but counterproductive after I built a tolerance and my dopamine regulators adjusted. For me, it made hyperfocus a real problem. Also, it made me "overdo" even the simplest of mundane tasks. Boss wants a spreadsheet tomorrow? He'll get the best friggin spreadsheet of all time because I'm staying up until midnight to revolutio…

Lemme guess...you just took your first script... I'm not saying you'll downward spiral into sucking dick for blues...but it can turn you into a burned out zombie that is just as likely to hyperfocus on useless junk as they are to be productive. But it'll make you FEEL like everything in your post.

She might be telling herself that to feel better about the prospect of cheating. The old "I cheated because I thought YOU were cheating" ethic.

Can't fully judge the guy here. Humans will have non-monogamous urges. Broads are vulnerable to "relationship teases" the same way we're susceptible to "cock teases." Self knowledge and discipline are the only true means of controlling monogamy, if that's your thing. Everyone gets tired of fucking each other.

Hell, not just anyone can say it either. You already need to have earned some implicit trust to pull this shit off. Either that, or you've got a real hands-off boss. If I had a rookie say that shit to me, I'd ask him how.

Praise the man, but don't bash the woman. This guy deserves respect for sticking to his principles calmly and consistently. Not to mention his generosity for paying the loans. On the other hand, if you want to call this woman a slut for having MMFs, fine, but you sound like a fucking Puritan to me. All women got fucked before they met you. Some of them did dirty, disgusting, things. Hell, I ran train on a girl once, but I wouldn't feel the need to tell any girls. Don't throw stones from your gla…

He didn't force him to stay, he made him "own" quitting. Huge difference. As oldredder says, it's about holding them accountable for their decisions. It's one thing to force the kid to play football before signups and tryouts. It's a good thing to make them keep their word. My daughter hated spring soccer and wanted to quit. I made her stick it out to teach her about staying true to her word. The next season, I gave her the option and she declined. No fight on my part.

Maintain leverage. Manage your life in a way that makes the termination of your contract with her something you can assume at a moment's notice.

I agree. I'm married and have been through some SHIT. Marriage is a bad idea without a prenup. But realistically, if you want to reproduce, most women with good enough genetics will require it to raise offspring in a healthy environment. Ask yourself, will you automatically leave if she cheats and are you rich enough to do that on a moment's notice? If not, don't get married. Cheaper to keep her is true for 90% of us. And many courts don't give a shit about infidelity. Only get married if you wa…

Best advice is to make TRPers aware of the red flags so they can avoid these women before it's too late. At least from my experience, you cannot rely on red pill strategies. They may work SOME of the time, but not all of the time. For instance, the whole general concept of "not being clingy" fails. They can't get ENOUGH attention, then suddenly go ice cold. But even if they retreat at home, they still want you there. Other thing - you can't charm/excite/ be alpha enough to keep them from strayin…

Get her to break it off with him first. Trust me, you don't want to get into a relationship with a cheater, you'll just be waiting for her to cheat on you. Escalate then back off before anything happens, it'll make her nuts. But if you just want to get laid, do what you're gonna do, just watch your back for karma.
