Nothing in that post warrants murder. Dude should have kept his mouth shut or spoken up in earnest if he has a problem with hiring practices. Staying toxic and promoting a hostile work atmosphere will get you fired regardless of gender.

Why is the huge guy wearing a dress in the end of that comic lol. Is this a joke?

It's actually just a 2nd-person-plural construction. They're common in other languages... Spanish uses tú for a singular you, and has two different plural versions: ustedes is plural formal (good evening, folks) and vosotros is basically y'all as we use it in English.

Going arm around first is a bad move. Way too presumptuous. I go handshake first when meeting, then maybe an arm touch here and there in conversation, but only for a second, like if I'm laughing. And sparingly. Wait for her to initiate contact before moving beyond this stage. Arm around is when you know she's already into you. Otherwise it's possessive and stifling.

That's true. Unfortunate.

It's a description of the pathology, but doesn't whatsoever relate to legality. It's like making the distinction that Killswitch Engage is metalcore and Metallica is thrash metal, but the rest of the laymen in the crowd says "it's metal" and everyone understands what you're saying in context. Being attracted to an 18-year-old isn't illegal. Technically being attracted to infants isn't illegal; it's pursuing them sexually or molesting them in any way that is illegal. The human animal can't usuall…

All of that is bullshit! The law never uses logic or science and reasoning. Stunningly intelligent response. You're not equipped for this debate topic. You should probably learn some things about developmental psychology and get back to us later.

According to anyone with any intelligence, maturity is based on experience in the adult world. That's a argument based on literally nothing but your manufactured opinion, and it's a bandwagon fallacy at that. But whatever, if you think this 19 year old is a rapist, that is your prerogative. If you think the 13 year old was a total victim, that too is your prerogative. I would be inclined to think both were just doing what people do. The law would agree with us. People doing what people do often …

Being a child is definitely about age, insofar as biological and specifically neurological development doesn't finalize until well into your twenties. You don't think the same way as a child as a teenager as an adult. That's simple science. As a society we have comprised to say that, at a certain age in cognitive development, the individual is likely to be sufficiently developed to not only consent to conceive, but also carry to term and responsibly care for one or many children. That age is 16 …

Even if the "law" is predicated on "science" regarding "cognitive development" and "comprehension of consequences" and "maturation of logical reasoning in the human brain," as well as "minimizing the frequency of adults grooming children as sexual dependents via coercion and abuse of perceived authority," to say nothing of the "legal capacity to work to support their child" and "legal standing to enter into binding agreements and give informed consent for the medical care and legal rights of the…

In front of clients, no less? If I backtalked and insulted my manager in front of my clients I'd be fired on the spot too, regardless of whether I'd skipped work the day before.

Dude. There's literally no excuse for what happened, whether she was cheating or not. He beat the boyfriend badly until he left. Then he beat her into unconsciousness multiple times, attempted to rape her, and she very nearly died. She suffered 18 broken bones, a broken nose, missing teeth, a fractured rib, a ruptured liver and various bruises and contusions. Tilt at another windmill.

It's NOT the same when a man abuses a woman, because I said, in 99% of cases the woman is terrorized by it. She worries she may be killed. She feels helpless to stop it in that moment, making the situation decidedly different. And in 99% of cases, men are prohibited from defending themselves. Fainting - couch morons like you burn their entire lives to the ground because "there's no reason to hit a woman!" Happened to my brother in law - his ex got him arrested for defending himself and ruined hi…

Why does every single person on this thread have the same reading comprehension issues? Nowhere did I say it's "OK" for her to hit him. You're assigning a gender relativity component to domestic abuse, saying its less ok for some than it is for others based solely on sex. Maybe it's because your message is fucking stupidly indefensible. My point was simply when you judge an abuse case you SHOULD factor in relative sizes, you SHOULD factor in terrorizing, you SHOULD factor everything in . Good th…

That's not a Chelsea smile, last I heard? Maybe I'm wrong. I thought the chelsea smile is where you get your cheeks slashed with a knife and kicked in the stomach so your face splits. The actor who played "Chibs" in Sons of Anarchy had this done to him in real life and the character is named for it.

Have you looked into counseling? It's not normal to have no interest in anything... Depression can manifest as apathy or inability to commit.

Then she should have let him walk away instead of flailing at him with her gender-based inequalities. I would have knocked her out too. If I'm walking away and you follow me while striking me, I'm going to defend myself. You can play the chivalry game all you like. Maybe she'll post your medical bills afterwards when she class your eye and you go blind.

You're not a lawyer and you need to stop giving advice. She clearly assaulted him multiple times and his response was proportionate and restrained. He'd never see the inside of a cell with that video evidence.
