But you said you'd already dug it up. Have you read a few books on body language or hundreds? I've read a few: "Caro's Book of Tells" and "Read 'Em and Reap", and they wouldn't be helpful. It was good feedback. Why are you avoiding the question?

I don't know about this. OP doesn't say anything about an audience of coworkers. The way he tells it, he had positive interactions with them, then isolated her. He hit her up while checking out, a good 20 minutes after making friendly with the other employees. But more to the point, the only reason for it to be an awkward moment is if she's not digging him and doesn't know how best to turn him down, or if he communicates a sense of awkwardness by saying something like, "I know this is kinda awkw…

Love it. It was a non-rejection. An no matter the quality of the interaction it gave you something in common to talk about later.

"I've heard all about you" "It wasn't me. I swear. You can't prove anything." "I can explain that. See, there I was with a trunk full of dildos... Oh - now I've said too much." "I know." Optional: "Wait, did I say that out loud?" "Likewise. ...Uh, so what's your name?"

The best way to decline hooking up without it being a rejection is to make it about the new girl. I simply say, "I've just stared seeing someone and I don't want to disrespect her by getting with anyone else." The subtext here is "You still make me hard, and in different circumstances I'd still get with you."

Build rapport in person. Make the date. Then get the number. Use text for logistics. Do as little "reading into" her texts as possible. But in general, if she suggests an alternative time, it's on. If she's busy and doesn't suggest an alternative, let it go.
/r/seduction29/01/15 04:40 PM

In principle, this. You have to stop obsessing over her, and the only practical way to do that is to become too busy with others.

I think the problem is you're taking it too literally. Women live in subtext. Assuming sexual intent is already clear, I think "I'm not boyfriend material" absolutely tells a woman what you're looking for (just like "wanna come up for a coffee?" does). And I think that, to a woman, "I'm not looking for a relationship" says "I don't want to be in a relationship with you". While, "I'm not boyfriend material" says "I don't do relationships in general." I suspect the latter will always be better rec…

Set up the date first. Then get the number. Don't try to persuade her of anything via text. Get buy-in in person. Use text for logistics. I can't tell from what you've said if there was an issue with asking, but just in case it might help: Don't ask. Tell her you're doing something. Tell her she should come. I'm not saying this will make all the difference, but I think it's more effective than asking. And yes, if they're waffling after the fact, let them go. Be light-hearted. Say "catch you late…

I agree with the other comments that essentially say "walk it off man." But if you're looking for suggestions, I think the best approach to getting her energy into the conversation is to steer it towards whatever she's passionate about. Of course the first step is finding out what that is, and a lot of times the easiest way there starts at what she does for a living, or studies, etc. Then push-pull tells us once she's engaged and expressing herself we should chill out and let her carry the conve…

I have to be good in bed or I'm nothing You should read Robert Glover's "No More Mr. Nice Guy". There's no need to be neglectful, but your main responsibility in sex is to maximize your enjoyment. Your life isn't about her, and you don't need good ratings from her to "be something" or to have value as a person. how do I make myself even want to throw my heart into this thresher? I recommend reading "Models" by Mark Manson for guidance on where you should be coming from when looking to get involv…

A very nice video. Personally I think there's a little something else going on as well. I think that women (at least in the culture I'm familiar with) value "magic" in a relationship. In other words, to plan on sex is cheap and crass, but when it happens spontaneously that's deep and magical. They would prefer to at least maintain the illusion that it wasn't orchestrated.

by the time I've invited a girl to my place, 95 percent of the time she's already made a decision This is pretty much universally true, but misses the point. If you're trying to hide your intentions, you're just making the whole thing HER responsibility to escalate. If you think an "excuse" actually hides your intentions you underestimate women. Like I said, they like having an excuse (a generalization of course, but generally true).

I also like to be ready to make the favorite drink of anyone who I want to see at my place more. But as it happens, I myself don't drink (or I hope I would have thought of this one).

This. But she's your friend, not the other way around. What I mean is that you're not on call. You don't have time to hear about everything that happened to her today, or how much of a jerk that guy she likes is. You treat her like one of the guys, tell her about the hot chicks you pick up, etc. Not only is this a friendship you can actually appreciate, but it's the only kind that stands a chance of escalating at some point.

Manson's reasoning is that if you're a "nice guy", complimenting her from a needy place, to try to earn points with her, then it will come off creepy, or at least as a weak ploy. And if you're running game, then your compliments will come off as canned or calculated. But if you're truly comfortable with yourself, and you don't need validation from her, then a genuine expression of appreciation for her is most likely to be well received and create strong rapport. But I don't think these Mansonesq…

At a job I used to have, executives would come visit the office every couple of weeks to a month and check out the products we were working on. We were constantly adding features and anything we had to show them when they came by would be impressive to some degree. But the local managers always had this weird psychological quirk. If they'd already seen it, then it was old news to them and therefore not very impressive in their minds. So they were always trying to get people to cram something new…

Cockiness is about feeling like you're better than someone else. It's self-conscious. Confidence is about being at ease, and comfortable with yourself. It's a lack of self-consciousness. Women are intuition machines built to feel intent and motivation. If you're thinking about yourself or trying to prove yourself you'll project cockiness. If you forget (in the moment) that you even exist, you'll project confidence.

From what you've told us I can only conclude that you've expressed too much concern about other men and how attractive she is. You've communicated to her that you're not worthy of her, and she's taking you at your word.

"If you're hitting on me I appreciate it" It's hard to think of a nicer, more receptive way to say she's not available. I'd hardly call this getting shot down. She was even conscientious enough not to assume you wanted anything from her. Only thing I might have done differently, if I was sitting there waiting for my car anyway, is stay and practice making small talk. And if that's well received, maybe some slightly inappropriate humor: "Does your boyfriend treat you well? Good, 'cause I would tr…

You want to get the ball rolling and get her talking about herself. The easiest way to get there is to hone in on what she likes, what she's passionate about. Then, you want to be less invested than her. Once she's talking about herself, make her carry the conversation. Don't be a jerk like she was, but you should be the one who might get bored. Read up on push-pull. It works best when she's being more high energy than you.

Start small and practice in situations where the outcome couldn't possibly matter. Just make eye contact and say "hi" to strangers, and move on, etc. By taking small, non-threatening steps, you can expand your comfort zone without ever leaving it.

It sounds like his theory was to make the real thing easier by surviving ridiculous situations unharmed first. Only he never got around to teaching the real thing (which should theoretically be comfortable by comparison). I'd call that incompetent/negligent at best. My suggestion would be to do the opposite. Practice making eye contact and exchanging smiles with strangers, with no expectations. Then practice making small talk with people who respond positively. Ramp it up gradually, such that ea…

I think honesty is great, but now let your actions do the talking. Friend-zone her (as described in the video), and move on. If she wants to fade into oblivion, that's fine. If she wants to stick around, that's cool too. Either way you don't have a lot of chance with her, but either way your chances are better than if you let things continue the way they are, or if you freeze her out. And telling her that you can't just be friends is the worst of all. It screams neediness. The most important par…

This sounds to me like classic friend-zoning. She wants your time and attention. She wants you to be on call. But she's not in the habit of thinking of you as a virile man and doesn't want to give back. I think being straight forward and honest is a good thing. But you've already made your intentions clear. An honest talk should focus on her intentions. It's good that you accept the unlikelihood of this producing what you want, and a willingness to walk away is essential. But I'm not sure if an …

I believe in this case it's a sign of self-consciousness. They are suddenly thinking about how they look, what they're showing, etc. Attracted? Not attracted? Hard to say. But I think intimidated is a distinct possibility.

I think what made her more attracted to you was simply that you were not desperate for her attention or for the date to go well Yes. And letting her flounder a little while remaining comfortable yourself made her realize it.

Open with the innocuous and easy. "How was traffic?" Follow a couple threads of her response. This breaks the ice, and isn't awkward because it easy, factual, doesn't really matter, and isn't personal. Transition to the slightly more personal with questions about her job (or what she does/studies. etc.). Follow threads specifically to what she's passionate about (for example, why she got into that business, etc.). This starts off easy and innocuous and transitions to deep and meaningful. All the…

Women are intuition machines. What I mean is, they've got a ton of processing power in their subconscious which analyzes, decodes, and informs them (at a subconscious level - they're not necessarily consciously aware of it) as to why you're saying/doing what you are. And like it or not, our motivation "leaks out" in lot's of ways we're not aware of. Because of this, the most important aspect of a compliment is why you give it. Perhaps the only reason to complement a woman, which won't turn her o…

We weren't there so we can't read her mind, but most of the time that question isn't a judgement of you. It's her expressing insecurity. I might just say, "You are so good looking."

Yes. "You're so good looking, it's too bad I don't date girls so young," is a "neg".

These two concepts are not in conflict. Being direct is about making it clear that your interest in her is dating/intimate/sexual in nature. So in her mind, you're not a good candidate to be her safe/"gay" friend, etc. Also your directness conveys a confidence that has a fair chance of qualifying you in her mind as a viable candidate for "the type of guy who gets her hot." But being direct isn't the same as being head over heels kamikaze committed. In other words, you're communicating that if yo…

This. There's also the chance that she's uncertain about how she feels rather than about what you're there for. Consider other ways that you might be inadvertently projecting uncertainty (like asking that question would). Because if you're subconsciously communicating that you're not the kind of guy who makes her hot, then she might suddenly remember she has a boyfriend or that she's only interested in being friends.

Do both. Put the ball in her court, focus elsewhere, and if she still doesn't initiate, give it one more push. But don't ask her anything. "I'm going to the game, party, etc. Come with." If she doesn't go, she doesn't go. If that happens, you don't have to cut her off, but you should probably friend-zone her. Tell her about dates, hot girls you meet, etc., like you would any other friend. If she still makes no effort with you, it'll probably have to be friends or nothing for the foreseeable futu…

Good stuff. I would say though, that what she does for work can be one of the quickest, most natural conversational routes to her passions. And reflecting the values she's passionate about is one of the most powerful ways to make her feel connected.

Heat that water gradually. Make eye-contact and smiles a way of life. Start greeting anyone who doesn't respond negatively to a smile, without further intent. Start making small talk in situation where there's no desired outcome to care about. Before you know it, the water won't be so cold.

I knew a guy in high school with a small stutter. He was a pretty cool guy. Pretty soon I noticed my friend had started stuttering a little. Guess he thought it would make him look cool too. It was almost like like affecting a little hitch in your step 'cause the guy with the limp seems so smooth. If you're smooth, so is your accent. But if you're more comfortable calling yourself AJ, why should anyone care? Call yourself Slartibartfast if you want.
