It’s a nice boost for long term partners, although it comes with its flaws as there’s the risk a partner likes the money more than you

This is such a smart comment, I wish most of this sub could understand your well worded, and basic response. I’m about to scroll down to the comments to find people attacking you/calling you stupid tho, aren’t I?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/26 07:49 PM

Nobody who isn’t a creep or your significant other will ask you your body count once you get out of high school, nobody cares

My bad, women, I never check the post’s flair. I’m about to get banned for always answering on the wrong posts, fuck

Listening to others whilst observing the world , and then forming your own opinions based on said info: that would be the alternative to just parroting a group that is looking to indoctrinate, then extort you.

Honestly, women are much smarter with how they cheat, and I do believe they lose interest in men way quicker than men do with women. I’ve talked to many women who are married or have long term bf’s that make it clear they’re up for play. A common phrase is that they’ve basically broken up “he just hasn’t moved on/moved out yet” even tho 4 months later, they’re still together. Men do the same things, but from what I’ve seen, they do it a decent bit less.

I’m guessing that’s because more lesbians are in relationships? Or are there a lot more guys than women who have relationships with multiple women at once?

We all know that knowing one unhappy woman makes you an expert in reading all females. Gosh, I want to like your post because of the One Piece reference, but it’s just so bad, ugh

Second this, you should have a talk with them at the first sign of perceived disrespect, most men are clueless and will accidentally hurt your feelings all the time
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 11:03 PM

Some people deal with real issues like extreme poverty and abuse. If you’re going to go into the shitter cuz no pussy, that’s an indictment on you, and you alone. That’s weak af

Done talking to someone who can’t argue. You make no sense, and I’ve become dumber after conversing with you. Not only can you not understand a single point I’ve made, you’re also quite sure of your intellectual superiority as you writhe in a pool of self-loathing and jealousy. I hope you’re able to change your rotten core and find happiness someday. Long road ahead tho, god damn
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 02:37 AM

The majority of incels are only subhuman because of poor grooming/being unfit
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 01:44 AM

I can’t help personally attack incels, it’s a problem, and I know I’m just pushing them deeper into their ridiculous rhetoric whilst doing so

Yeah, I don’t say any of those things you made up, wrong again, what’s new there. I think looks matter more than anything in attraction, but there are a ton of factors, since y’know the world and people are complex. You seem to only be able to parrot other’s thoughts you’ve seen on line then expect everyone else to be the same sheep you are. Uh no, I think for myself, which I guess you can’t fathom? Oh yeah, working with someone in a professional setting isn’t the same as knowing them or studyin…

Is abandoning your child worse than raping a woman, but not impregnating her? One is a single decision, the other is many decisions, yet the rape is a much more fucked up thing, I’m torn
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 11:18 PM

I don’t understand autism tbh. I just think it’s weak that you hide behind your autism instead of trying to improve yourself. We both know you’re an incel based on you being a dumb, selfish loser who can’t pull bitches
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 02:10 AM

Actually, personality matters a lot more than money, especially for short term stuff. Money doesn’t attract women to you, just the potential benefits of being with you. Personality, status, and most importantly looks do physically attract
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 01:55 AM
3

I don’t think you’ve ever known an attractive man enough to get a glimpse into what their life is like. Also your friend is a nerd who doesn’t ever talk to women, and that’s why you think that women have it better than men? Because you have a sexless friend who won’t talk to women to possible y’know have sex, your mind is baffling to me, but to each their own
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 01:52 AM
11

I mean if he looked like a really attractive girl, he wouldn’t be a really attractive man due to sexually dimorphism mattering so much in looks. Also, if he isn’t talking to women like you said, ofc he’s cooked. I agree the average woman has it much easier than the average dude, but an attractive guy has it better than the attractive woman since they get to choose a ton of picks with much less of the harrassment
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 07:27 PM

But the threshold there is lower than what a lot of guys think
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 09:48 AM

True
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 09:47 AM

She’s not being literal with her first point, but I’m guessing you’re an autist who hasn’t put in time to learn social cues, so ya missed that, proving her 1st point if you’re also a misogynistic loser, which seems quite likely to me based on the law of averages around here. If you’re low functioning autistic, yeah that’s tough. But you can train yourself to learn conversation cues that you don’t understand, look at people’s eyes more, etc.

Yeah, good point. Most men will cut off good friendships due to their own insecurity, you didn’t need to write all that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 08:21 PM

Get those abs, women will like the changes to your face more than body anyways, you’ll glow up more than you think

No man thinks “once you’re attractive, dating becomes effortless.” Rather, casual sex becomes much less effort. It’s easier to get that off of an app, and just walking to a bar or grocery store and talking to women in person
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 01:48 PM

They shouldn’t

I gotta admit I still don’t quite believe you act rationally when strongly enamored, very few people do. I think that you wouldn’t want to cause an issue and let him pay to get a second date, albeit with the baggage that this guy has a red flag

Oh you’re not mentioning any studies, I clicked the link. You have nothing, again. So many comments with nothing, you’ve had a lot of chances… why can’t you come up with a single thing? It’s almost like you’re completely wrong or something, almost

“High school never ends”- incel who claims to know more about the world than me. HAHAHAHAHAHA dude no fucking way are you serious, no way. The world is not fucking high school, I don’t even know where to start to debate this, all I can do is laugh, really, oh my god that is so fucking rich, actually, great comment. Thanks for that I needed a sidebuster tonight, didn’t think I’d get it from you tho, thanks!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:50 AM
1

Ye cuz you don’t understand how the world works at all, I’m guessing you’re in your teens or younger and think your school hierarchy is the world. Maybe you’re not actually hopelessly braindead if that’s the case, you have time and you’ll maybe figure out the basics
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:43 AM
1

wtf is this elusive measure you’re talking about? Shit man, don’t give up on yourself before working on yourself, how is that bad logic? How do you see a problem with that? I’m so confused by you, you don’t make any sense to me at all, and I don’t agree with anything you’ve said, complete and utter nonsense, the lot of it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:38 AM
1

Damn I think that’s harsh, personally, but you do you
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:36 AM

But I’ve explained how everything you’ve said is wrong, and you’ve had no sensible reply? That’s keeping it real, or gasping for air?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:36 AM
-1

You completely misunderstood what I said. Let me dumb it down for you, maybe you can get it this time. I was referring to your comment where you personally attacked me for stroking my ego, which against the subreddit’s rules I might add, cough cough mods where I claimed that I’m not ego boosting, rather I just hate bigotry and hate from incels, that’s the reason I come here
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:27 AM
1

Hahahahhahaa, you don’t think 51 percent of men on Earth have had sex? Show me some stats, please, good lord man how are you confidently proclaiming that like a gotcha?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:25 AM
1

If you’re not a truecel, which is a small ass number of men, you can attract women by self improvement either really easily or with a ton of work. That’s how the world works, whether you want to believe it or not. I don’t get why you’re so set on being such a doomer, it can’t be fun
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:23 AM
0

Just on that? Would it depend how pushy he is? Like if he insists he pays, you say “no I got it” and then he tries one more time, that’s a red flag? A lot of men are raised to try to do that at a first meal with anyone, if they’re raised well off
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:21 AM
-3

Personally, I think I just get really mad at hate and bigotry, but shit neither of us are therapists so who really knows?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:17 AM

He also claims that he’d rather you hate him than ignore him, because um maybe his ego is that strong I guess? Sounds like textbook narcissistic personality disorder, if he’s not just messing around
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:06 AM
-3

Yeah it is, textbook definition of an excuse. They get fucked over constantly by the patriarchy, so ofc they’re going to try to get whatever benefits they can get out of it, duh. Thousands of years of abuse is not a good enough excuse for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 05:00 AM

Which part didn’t you agree with? Every point she made could also fall under just being a decent, semi-moral person
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 04:54 AM

Which one of her points don’t you agree with? I feel like this whole thing falls under the general blanket of being a decent person, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 04:53 AM

Why say “himself?” Was that supposed to be funny or is there an inside joke idk about, curious

Would you be flattered by a guy who you think is beautiful, funny, has great personality, etc and at the end of a great dinner, is insisting that he had too good of a time with you to let you pay? I’m guessing you wouldn’t view that as desperation, but is that a red flag to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 04:49 AM
-3

You really don’t think personality matters at all to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/25 04:44 AM

They think black single mom’s are evil because they are way more likely for them and their family to be struggling, on top of needing to work harder for less pay due to the wage gap, causing their kids to have more issues while the single mom’s have less time and resources to deal with said issues. Or they outright believe not abandoning your child to the horrific foster care system when you’re struggling is a sin

I’m male, and 5’7” is Tom Cruise’s height bro cmon, talk country or not, there is women for him. If he hasn’t hit 12 percent body fat and improved his haircut, groomed, and all that shit he doesn’t know if he’s cooked or not. I believe in the black pill ideology of the truecels, a class of people separate from incels. Truecels are deformed or have almost all negative features and terrible harmony to boot. They are almost always cooked, but I mean shit bro, 99% of incels aren’t truecels, they nee…

It makes sense to open up to women about positive or at least not cringy shit first and then after a while start dumping more and more of the nerdy shit. If they like you, they’ll be absolutely fine with whatever that isn’t cheating or idk maybe a scat fetish, but if they don’t then they’ll shit on your for your passions and you should gtfo. You don’t have to play their games to your disadvantage

Not having sex with gross dudes who hate them, duh

Good thing you’re not insecure at all, no projection detected

/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 08:35 PM

What is your definition of masculinity, if you have one? I don’t think it should just be how much testosterone someone produces tbh, shouldn’t there be more than that?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:49 PM
0

It’s not, I’m throwing out hate to the people who give it to me. I’m quite considerate of other’s feelings that I feel deserve it, but am a royal asshat to those I don’t, but I love these kids
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:38 PM
-1

I mean, having sex once isn’t the same as having a child with a long term partner, so it’s not like that at all, you’re wrong, so wrong, DumDum and BumBum
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:37 PM
1

I’d guess over 95 percent of men get laid by 35 worldwide. The bottom 5 percent are fucking losers, yeah
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:36 PM
-1

I was being hateful ngl. I was pretty pissed off sending that comment, and not trying to use logic, just hurt incel’s feelings. An incel is by definition a fucking loser tho, unless they have an extreme deformity or mental/physical illness, and I’ll die on that hill. If you’re a regular dude and you can’t get women when it’s so damn easy, you’re a fucking loser
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 07:34 PM
2

This world will always be fucked up since there are so many fucked up people living in it. That doesn’t mean progress in the right direction is bad, change takes a long time. I think that the erosion of communities is being done by the ultra rich spamming us with hate of disenfranchised communities to distract the majority from realizing the real issue is those hoarding the world’s wealth, not women who want better treatment
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 05:25 PM
7

Almost all men get laid, it takes a special type of loser to be an incel. It’s really hard to sabotage yourself enough to where you can’t find a single mate out of 4 billion, yet somehow so many guys find a way then blame others for how incredibly inept they are
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 04:01 AM
8

And I bet you’d hate sub5 girls if you had options. It’s a common sentiment to think that you’re better than people that you’re not interested in, this isn’t the breaking news you think it is
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:57 AM
3

It’s because the patriarchy is getting weaker, plain and simple. Men have had it infinitely easier than women for millennia, but now it’s just a lot easier, in the U.S. at least
/r/PurplePillDebate12/12/25 03:50 AM
0

These are men who can’t get any women. They can’t even fathom having options, so the vetting process is: if female then good enough for me. They ironically place women on the highest of pedestals, as the term incel literally defines themselves as men that aren’t good enough for a woman to be with. Then they cope with that fact by believing they’re better than every woman in the world, um for some reason. Idrk how their thought process leads them there, but it does. They need to feel good about t…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 08:21 AM
1

We might try, but these doomer incels aren’t willing to have their views challenged even slightly. He could only talk about the bear, that’s all he has. Crazy how they just run away from every single argument, I guess also somehow thinking they won it?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 07:36 AM
3

I’m not for it, but a culture of shame surrounding fat people statistically is the best way for them to get skinny. Look at South Korea, India, or Japan. In the US, Asian Americans have a 12% rate of obesity versus 40 and 30 percent for black and white Americans.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 07:32 AM
-1

I believe every single thing you said is wrong, and you don’t know how the world works at all. There’s a lot of words in your post, none of them meaning a damn thing. Touch some grass before claiming you know anything about women, my god you’re sad
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 07:24 AM
1

So basically he’s forcing himself into celibacy due to his insecurity. OP, maybe try some shrooms or LSD to figure out how ridiculous your thought process is? You’re screwing yourself over more than a new door frame
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/25 08:36 PM
8

OP there admitted that he’s had sex before, but is unwilling to have a partner who’s done the same. OP is an insecure hypocrite of the highest degree
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 06:56 PM

I assume it’s because humans are apex predators on an unfathomable scale. Also, onecan pretty easily describe body language, I don’t think people not understanding something doesn’t mean it’s wrong, just means some people are dumb af

Download Grindr my G, and you’re balling. My little brother is extremely overweight with terrible hygeine and teeth, also extreme depression and anxiety making it tough to deal with random people: he still gets mad cock slung his way on Grindr, no problem

Yeah, I just got mad here, but it’s no doubt addicting. I come here when work is slow or my wife is asleep, and never hop offline feeling better. I guess like a toxic relationship, this sub makes the small bit of good feel soooo much better because you have to deal with so much shit before getting rewarded lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 04:32 AM

Not interested in incels being so confidently wrong, you better hope that I don’t actually try to insult you if that’s getting you in your feelings lol, don’t get into online debates if you can’t take a super kind insult, grow up
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 04:26 AM
1

I didn’t, I’m making an assumption, just like you that there were inflammatory titles or something in the post. Idk how you can go so offended over, what a gay guy saying that gay guys do better with women? Do you not notice that gay guys tend to have more social success with women? So idk what’s flawed here

*Most people hate themselves, especially online

Dimoprhism are masculine and feminine traits, and they don’t have to have a reproductive reasoning behind them to exist. Height and muscularity is due to I’m guessing taller and stronger men winning more fights, being more dominant, and thus wiring women’s brains over time to prefer those features. Some traits that are dimorphic are small noses or full lips in women, they don’t have a real evolutionary benefit probably, but it’s still a dimorphic trait nonetheless
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 04:20 AM
0

I didn’t mention height had anything to do with reproduction, you just have no way of arguing back with me since you have no point or logic, just manlet fury stemming from extreme insecurity. You should’ve taken hgh as a kid if you’re going to let your height define you, I promise there’s more important things than your height, and if you just got out of your own head you’d be alright. Sadly, you’re mad at the world for not loving your flaws instead of trying to improve them, must be a miserable…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 04:16 AM

There’s a ton of different opinions shared here, ofc the incels and trolls will be the loudest, dumbest, and most prolific commenters; but there are a lot of different views to find

I mean, youth with always be attractive as will a full head of hair and strong jaw. I think height for guys is a dimorphic trait like that, I’m guessing a bit tho, definitely not an expert. I’m sure you’ll disregard my comment since you’re so sure of yourself, but men being bigger and taller than women on average makes it seem like it’s just a preprogrammed evolutionary response from women to find muscular and tall men attractive, just like they wouldn’t want to reproduce with a bald old guy sin…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 03:06 AM
-2

The people downvoting this are not doing so because they’re offended by the term “gay” being used without any malice. I’d guess they’re upset that this logic hits too close to home, and they’re clueless on the difference between the male and female gaze yet still refuse to try to understand the female gaze
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 03:02 AM

Crazy how everyone is missing your point, good post, I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 02:11 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/25 07:03 AM

A lot of people settle, women included. What should happen is not the same as what does happen. Older women definitely feel the pressure of the biological clock, much more so and earlier than me, causing some rash decisions with mating/starting a long term relationship/family

Yeah, you totally roasted me bro. You killed me in this debate, great job. I’m going to divorce my wife, not shower for a month, and start gooning to Sydney Sweeney’s tits in the bathroom at work. You’ve changed me into a full blown incel through your uncanny skills in the way of persuasion, congratulations, not only are you smarter than me, you’re better in every single way and all I want is to be like you. Any tips?

You answered your own question with statistics that foster care is worse than single mothers on a child’s upbringing, so um how did typing that sentence out not change your mind?

I’m scratching my balls with my other hand as I type this, dude. I don’t think it’s healthy that you’re projecting your own issues on a group of people, history has shown that that type of thinking doesn’t age well. I’m 26 and have never had gender dysphoria, perhaps that is old to you tho since I’m really hoping that you get more cognitive function stacked to your current settings. “Muhhh women bad” is not the solution to your problems, self care and hard work is. The first step in improvement …

I mean, if a woman can be single and still get many benefits from men, what’s the problem? Or what if that woman had a terrible experience with a guy and needs time? Or what if she’s waiting for the right guy as she has fun? You’d support all that with a guy so why should women not have your support as well? Your point about muscles is faulty, women know they like muscularity, just usually not too much. I think you’re misunderstanding stuff you’ve heard through a lack of nuance

Not mad, you don’t need to change it, it’s just a suggestion so that you don’t keep lying to yourself and everyone else, it’s just sad, and I want you to grow into a better person, I’ll help you if you let me

Patriarchy has been rightfully under attack for a while. How it’s attacked is the question, and progress has always been slow. Religion is very damaging to feminism as a whole since pretty much every holy text declares women as inferior, backed up by God himself, oh yeah God’s a guy by the way even tho we don’t really know lol. There’s a ton of little girls that I’ve coached (mostly in Texas but some in Virginia as well) that genuinely believe they are inferior to men and it crushes their self w…

That’s all you gleaned from my comment? If your eye positioning is crazy messed up, you have a super recessed chin, terrible grooming, potent acne, poor health, missing teeth, etc. yeah of course there’s going to be less women who are attracted to you. You really think that there aren’t some people who are more objectively attractive? I don’t think that necessarily means that beauty isn’t subjective, just that more women will like objectively attractive men and vice versa with a gender swap. Plu…

She said that the viewpoints in the red pill which talk about how women privately view their own sexual desires/inhibitions was false when comparing it to her own and other female’s that she knows experiences. That’s about as good of proof as you can obtain without deep diving into academic research

There is genuinely a lot of good advice with the red pill, like with most cults, the problem lies in its extremity and degradation of others, not with most of its logic. Some things are off with it, but it honestly does get a lot correct. I don’t see anything wrong with using it as a tool for understanding key areas of female attraction, only if you can manage to not get sucked into the toxicity, which most unfortunately aren’t able to do

Totally going to steal the way you worded these points in the future, you’re way more concise than I could be in your points, good comment

I mean are you objectively ugly? Like genuinely deformed or extremely morbidly obese? If not, you don’t need a million chances, you just need either one to a couple dozen, it’s really not that hard. Maybe if you have low social status in high school, you’re cooked for a few years, but then you go to college, get a job, play sports, join clubs, etc. and start having a bigger pool of women to interact with. Life and success isn’t stagnant unless you are

Lol, idk about this logic overall bro, I do see your points and they’re logical, but very very extreme. It’s a fact that more men want to pump and dump than women want to hoe around. If you’ve ever been around locker room like talks you’ll see what I mean, and I’ve heard them from almost all age groups and demographics, the only thing talked more about than sports for younger groups of men and money from older groups is always sex, and it’s always cool to have sex with hotter girls, preferably o…

I mean the behavioral stuff can be talked about, I worded my first response poorly. I do agree with you that the behavioral determinants of attractiveness should be talked about more in both men and women. Women shouldn’t feel shamed for being successful or sticking up for themselves, just like it’s not fair for quiet/reserved men to be viewed as creepy, unconfident, or submissive. It’s just so tiring to see so many men jump at the smallest conceived inconvenience and slander the opposite sex or…

I agree with all your points in your reply, but I think only the “provider” concept will ever realistically be pointed at as possible for critique in socially held norms/values. The looks are too hardwired into our brains, just like men will always on average prefer symmetrical faces and an ideal hip to waist ratio on women. Short men will never be as desirable and that’s ok, it’s just human biology, and nothing to be mad at the world about

Women don’t like dating apps because women want a guy who values them for more than sex, which is very hard to find in online spaces/dating apps, not because it’s hard to find men, rather because it’s hard to find a legitimate connection with a man
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 09:57 PM

The world isn’t black and white. More exposure=more chances. Some men have a high chance with any woman, some low, but there’s almost always some chance to be had. Don’t be a doomer who’s talking yourself out of a happy life, try to grow as a person instead of blaming women. You can’t change the world, but you can change yourself, put your effort into something that will benefit you, slut shaming women and degrading men obviously won’t
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 09:55 PM

But one of those examples is behavioral, the other is about physical attraction. Your point is extremely flawed and invalid, it’d be more accurate to compare that men liked unhealthily skinny women in the past with your point on women liking tall providers imo

I work at a country club as a tennis pro and I’ve gotten a small taste of what it’s like to get groped/have really sexual comments directed at me, and it’s really uncomfortable, even if I find the woman doing it attractive, and I can’t even really acknowledge it since they’re clients and I need to be professional. I legitimately used to fantasize about being super attractive and having women all over me, but now that I have a slice of it, it sucks. This is without me ever feeling fear from the t…

Other girls will talk about you being good at sex, making you much more desired by the ones hearing about your skills, you don’t need to open up with it because many will already know about your reputation as a Dick Driver Supreme

What are you rambling about? There’s no coherent point here at all
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:22 PM

I mean do incels really think that most men can’t have sex while every woman has their pick of man? Their logic doesn’t hold up at all with the barest of critical thinking

It’s a people problem in general, not just men. A ton of people need therapy that don’t get it, and then hurt others, who hurt others, etc. A lot of healing is needed on both sides of the gender spectrum, but I do fully agree with this, good post
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 04:32 PM

Great post, completely agree with you. A lot of people are abusive, not just women or men. I’d honestly say that there are more women who are abusive due to the fact that they’re able to move on to the next man so much easier than vice versa
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 01:15 PM

I mean yeah, but that’s why you shouldn’t marry a woman who is like that if you’re not attractive enough/ don’t have the self confidence needed to trust them. There are plenty of women who will settle, try to find one that views you as a catch
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 05:22 PM

The guys on here, generalizing ofc, aren’t exactly the guys that can choose a woman. The majority just want one woman to have sex with them once so they can lose the terrible social stigma of being a male virgin. It really messes with your head and cripples self confidence to be one of the last in a friend group to get laid, you will be constantly crapped on
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:10 PM

Bruh, guys lie to girls all the time to have sex with them. Also, remember, it’s the minority of guys having the majority of sex. The dudes having a lot of sex can afford to treat women like shit, and still get more sex since they have high appeal. So on average, they do treat women like shit. Also, the dude’s not getting anything will most likely blame women rather than themselves
