Get the f out and re build finances , can’t get back wasted years . I had to make that same decision. The bounce back can be quick just depends on you

brother you have just as much rights as her in any state in America. Get yourself a sensible lawyer (spend the money ) and file for an emergency pick up order that gets the sheriff involved and she will have to comply with that to get your kids. Don’t role over! You have rights!

Hang in there brother, regardless of all the shit they put us through and the fights and the emotional nightmares there was good times buried in there so at the end. We’re going to feel no matter how macho we pretend to be . Treat it like a death , grieve and move on. Hope it helps! stay blessed

Any realtor can sell a house just negotiate the commotion to 4% 2 for buyer agent and 2 for your agent . That saves you and her some money so no reason for her to be opposed to it. As I’m sure her friend is not listing it for free. Both of you have to sign for it to sell so you have power there. I have some experience in this so feel free to reach out if needed. “ don’t let the hard days win” thanks for that!

Yea knowing the family dynamic is definitely something that should not be overlooked. I made the same mistake, my ex mother is a textbook narcissist that objectify men . And I somehow thought she would be different than her mom.

Yup that sounds so familiar, if I didn’t know better I would say they are the same person lol. I used to burst my brain trying to figure out why she is like that . Then I came across a video on YouTube about narcissism. Life is to good to not live it to the fullest with people that deserve us

One thing I missed that came back to haunt me 7 years down the road and contributing to decision to divorce is the fact that she was never able to take ownership of her actions. If she ever did something to offend me and I verbalize it she was never able to say “ I’m sorry”. Which tells me her feelings are more important than mine. So my advice to anyone in a new relationship and seeing this if it’s important to you do not over look it in the beginning and don’t think you can change people.

Get an attorney file for an emergency pick up order to block her plan with the kids. You have rights! Then attorney to work out that 50/50 custody plan. Most attorneys have payment plan . Spending the money is better than the headache. I went through similar situation. Just keep it in your head that , “I am the father I have rights!”
