I don't know about that. Street racing in the middle of the night is tons of fun and puts no one but the people racing in danger. You have people blocking the streets so there's no chance of an accident.

You actually can't buy a handgun until 21 unless it's through a private seller, and then you still can't get a concealed carry permit until 21. My buddy bought his .45 at 17 (well, his dad bought it), and when he turned 18 he "bought" it from his dad and transfered it to his name. So still not impossible to buy a handgun but you can't just walk into a store and get one like you could a rifle. I agree, the whole you're an adult at 18 but you can't make your own decisions thing is dumb.

It's not Christians as a whole though. My grandparents are conservative Lutherans, yet their children were allowed to sip wine in their early teens and drink for real not long after. Even my other grandparents, who are catholics have never had a problem with alcohol. Most Christians seem to draw the line at getting drunk rather than just drinking, as that's where it's drawn in the bible.
