I think about 6 weeks should be latest a pregnancy should be aborted. After 6 weeks a heartbeat is detectable and most major organs are starting to form. I'm not super thrilled with abortions and in a perfect world, everybody would use contraceptives unless they are wanting financially able to support a child.
