3	Why is Clare's Law not Clare and Clive's Law? Is the article badly written, or is it really only for women to find out about men? If it's anyone to find out about anyone - gender doesn't come in to it - then I'd object less. However there is a problem with it and the justice system. The idea is that you commit a crime, and then "do your time" (which may involve probation), if you cannot have a clean sheet afterwards then it makes a significant difference.
