I studied math and physics in education. And now im becoming a teacher. Im highly aware of gender problems. I always try to fight the idea "math is not for girls" and always try to make the STEM field accessable. But im looking almost helplessness when it comes to help for boys. Because there should be a very loud outcry. Society failed so hard. Very early (somewhere elementary school) boys are basicly denied better education. They need more lead, better teamwork, more time invested in social sk…

I totally agree with our points. The bodystandards women uphold for women and men are very easy to experience, when you do a lot of flirting/dating/whatever. Im got health problems till medication. I went to the gym, changed clothing/haircut, buildup social connection, started dancing as a hobby. The amount of comments from women about my body was shocking me, positivly. I get even compliments about the calluses on my hands often...

The german goverment reconized that boys are falling behind since 1999 by several big studies (PISA 2000). It swapped from catholic country girl from poor working class family to poor working class family boy with bad socio-economic or socio-cultural level. EDIT: We are still waiting for any action or even dialog.

I was always told that men are mainly attracted to looks, driven by some kind of animalistic instinct. We were never really taught any other standards. At the same time, women were often portrayed as almost non-sexual, as if they do not find men physically attractive in the same way men find women attractive. In reality, attraction goes both ways. Women can also feel intensely drawn to certain physical features, especially when they feel safe and emotionally comfortable. As a man, however, I lea…

From that perspective i wish people should stop evaluating my "manhood". People should not demand certain behavior of the other gender.

I came in contact with a local feminist group as part of a climate action group. Its very easy to get in contact, since everyone knows everyone when it comes to activism. My first contact was ... well not so good. I was very shy and was attacked for basicly being male. A female friend did protect me, since i didnt say anything. When i told my sister, her reaction was rage. And i started understanding... Im very empathic to the problems which excist, but i also have to protect myself.

There are real feminist local groups. They tend to be very queer (except for gay/queer men). A lot of younger groups are intersectional feminists. but all rhetoric torwards men is very guilty coded: Men have to help men. Feminist spaces are safespaces. Men have to improve themself. I get that there is a lot of stuff to uncover. But at a certain point of selfreflexion your stuck as a men. A lot of feminists groups still uphold traditional masculinity. and no amount of black fingernails ink or uni…

Even here in Germany, in our state media and private mass media, the comment section is full of that boogie man rhetoric. The german goverment supports influencers which are basicaly 4B or femcel. This was sponsored by our goverment: (sorry german) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_UudSO4j4xM

And i also want to add that boss feminism and even femcel 4B talking points are main "discurse" for the last 2 years in germany. This includes sentences like: "We only insult. They do violence" - "We need gender seperation" - which huge support in german state media comment sections. No normal man will jump on it.

Nobody can really tell what a good male role model is. Leftist spaces give all diffrent directions and often choices and ideology arent coherent.

From my perspective on German social democrats, they seem largely out of touch with younger generations. The party is dominated by older politicians who often struggle to understand or address the concerns of young people, especially issues like the “gender war.” There is a lack of social spaces for young people. To some extent, it feels like they have neglected the social foundations that help hold communities together. This vacuum creates opportunities for ppl like Andrew Tate to gain influenc…

Take Sabrina Carpenters Video "Manchild" as an example. She is the Chooser. The men or cars in the video representing the relationships she had. And most of them are "useless" etc etc. Thats a interpretation of previous told reproduction strategy. And she is direcly influencing a lot of young people, men and especially women with it.

There are different layers to sex and gender. From an evolutionary perspective, concepts like game theory and sexual selection suggest two broad reproductive strategies: one that is more selective, typically because reproduction requires a higher investment of resources, and another that is less selective and focuses on spreading genes more widely, often involving competition within the same sex. In nature, however, there are many variations. For example, in species like seahorses, males take on…

I’ve come to see that antinatalism and a strong focus on individualism—even within progressive spaces—often reflect a kind of bourgeois mindset. What really pushed me in that direction was seeing how people are attacked by leftists simply for having children or valuing family life. And I say that as someone who considers themselves progressive—the posts I’m talking about weren’t right-wing or reactionary in any way. But when people start getting criticized just because their choices “trigger” ot…

To be fair, feminism suffers the same problems.

There is, of course, a reason why most species have males and females. Reproduction involves a kind of enhanced selection mechanism known as sexual selection. Typically, one sex tends to be more selective and more invested in care, while the other is more opportunistic and competes with members of its own sex. At the same time, humans require a very long developmental period—around 20 years—to reach maturity and reproduce. This helps explain why humans often form pair bonds and raise offspring t…

Social media is obsessed with defining dating standards for men. Calling them dusties or losers or whatever if they cant reach that. Its the same idea that male feminists exist to make women lifes better. As a former male feminist i think men should ally and define their roles by their own.

Maybe take the example of the sinking of the Titanic: During the evacuation, on one side of the ship the leading officer did not allow men and boys (!) to enter the boats, even if this meant having half-filled or quarter-filled boats. The idea is that a woman is some kind of good for society, and a man's value is, on the other hand, in sacrificing himself for society. It’s a really old tribalistic idea. The men fight and compete for the control over women. And as part of it, a man must be able t…

Im always out, when i hear demands. Women have the full right to talk about their bad experiences. But talking about men and them being successfull or whatever as dating standard shouldnt be considered feminism.

This happened, because people build up media pushback. There was a rapid influx of articles and backlash.

Its like talking a climate change deniers: The problem doesnt exist. Okay it exist, but it cannot be changed. Okay it can be changed, but i dont need because that other group of people need change. If i should change to or anything should change i will attack the change. its the same pattern and we should threat it like that. Feminism is fine when its about a lot of topic related to women. But they are the oppossite when talking about male problems. "problem doesnt exist, its ur own fault, socie…

ur describing sexual selection not natural selection. but ur describing it in a very social and not biological way. also something doesnt have to be moral just because something exist in nature.

Its like saying its andrew tates fault for letting 10 yo become misogyn, when we should ask "where was society".

Yes, we need boys days. Like HEAL subjects: Health, Education, Administration, Literacy. We need campaigns against male stereotypes. We (All genders) must question old male role models, which even survive today. We need education which take in mind, that boys biological need longer devolopment times. And we need more reasearch about teaching with boys. Society have to get clear, that this is not "Oh, its ur own fault" but a failing of the whole society. When do we start labelling people who say …

Not wanna bring up the heavy arguments. but boys simply develop diffrent because it was advantage in evolution. Sexual selection leads to a big competition among men. And a 17 year old boy cant procreate easily since he competes with 25 year old men in dating. thats why development is "delayed". Men simply needs a wider field of skills to survive in dating, at least our ancestor needed it. that doesnt mean one gender is smarter. its just what happened. the brain is the same, minus hormones, minu…

Even with biology as a reason, society has to adapt. Seeing a biological reason is not an excuse for changing nothing. If boys and girls learn diffrently, maybe educate teachers to akkomodate better for the needs of diffrent people.

Women have a lot of weight in forming male gender role. Like i said, women do judge me often. Im very muscular, and im excpected to lift stuff for women. just one exsample.

Women should value carework and social skills over our jobs. "but since men don't wanna do this, they can offer money/providing." This is an excuse. Then dont simply date. Its all in the hands of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/24 01:27 PM

That doesnt mean its good. Also violence is part of our genetics. But we can social engineer our society and fight against it.

Because we heteromen dont date other men. We date women. And i heard "ur gay?" way to often from women.

Why should a man be a provider? "Masculinity is not a monolith, you can have the good traits without inherently having the bad ones." - Not completly true. Explain me, why a man should behave so much diffrent than a woman? Why must men be strong, stoic, helping? You cant have both. Thats why patriarchy was developed. By the men, who werent viewed successfull by women. Men do compete against each other. And women tend to pick the top%. Then women blame why monogamy dont work. Then patriarchy happ…

Its not just ur opinion. Its the opinion of most people. But it doesnt change that it is still sexist. Its like saying as a incel, that women must stay virgin or lose value. This is sexist. And it is still sexist, even if the incel also slutshames men. Playing video games is fun. Some ppl spend their time diffrent. Not everyone wants kids. People must learn it. If a woman dont want kids and do travell, thats fine. If a guy dont want family and play games, thats fine.

Hypergamy is actually the reason why men did the patriarchy. The more diffrent the mating strategies of a species, the less monogam and the more violence between the sexes. Actually monogamy is the only way we can preserve civilisation. Because it grants equality in raising kids, being treated as a human from the other gender and prevents waste of ressources.
