I tried to bring this up at another point but got pretty much downvoted to shit for it. I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being the first person to actually answer what I was asking.

So you're basically saying that people should self-censor their views if they promote self-censorship? And you're wondering why I have difficulty with that...

Well, you're obviously disagreeing with my viewpoint so you must have one of your own that explains that disagreement. I'm curious as to what that is.

Please, explain it to me. I'm here with an open mind.

I'm in total agreement with that, I'm just a little unsure as to whether this post addresses that or is more of one that opposes WRAs. If a feminist posted something with the same tone as this, we'd probably take offence to it as being an aggressive attack on MRAs.

I just think that, as there's a thin line between "women's rights activist" and raving SJW, there's a thin line between "men's rights activist" and someone who actively seeks to put down their counterpart. In many ways, both groups are seeking equality. It's how you do so that seperates the radical from the rational.

I was under the impression that /r/mensrights was about how men's rights were being violated, not about how the SJW crowd was a group of "dog-whistling emotional manipulators, fucking hypocritical SJW hacks". Gotta take the high road, man.

Regarding the one about cancer, the thing is that prostate cancer has a much lower fatality rate than cervical cancer, leading to more research around it.

Like mine or like OP's?

Doesn't this post sink us to to the same level as the people you're making fun of? EDIT: For the downvoters, some discussion would be nice. It seems to me that, as feminists have a reputation for being unreasonable man-haters, a post like OP's would help to enforce the reputation of MRAs as unreasonable woman-haters. I've always seen /r/MensRights as a more moderate voice, calling for equal rights for men and speaking out against places where men are made to look like sexual predators. Being an …
