Jesus, the comments... Pizzaface, Bolton, 43 minutes ago Typical liberal minded naivety, it's not 'Edwardian' it is a result of millions of years of evolution, women are naturally better than men in general, at looking after children, men and women are not the same

Thank you! This is exactly the response I get in these petty situations. This video helped a lot. I think that when I feel the effects of step one, in my mind I get paranoid about it and my own fear of showing the effects of step one to others makes me more nervous. This genuinely helped a lot man. I appreciate it

Thank you for your response. I appreciate that this is only a retail job and that it really is not my problem, but when someone is up in your face complaining and acting violent towards you its intimidating. I always laugh a minute afterwards with my coworkers about how it is their problem and they are taking their anger out on us and it puts it all in perspective. I will take your advice and try to constantly remind myself while in the middle of a confrontation that it is not personal and has a…

Yeah thats a pretty common thing. A guy in my class was taken to court for that when he was 16 after having sex with a 15 year old. It was consensual but to avoid tarnishing her reputation, she said it was rape. Statutory rape case ensued etc...Charges dropped etc... Sorry, I got mixed up. It was "Slane Girl".(Slane is a popular concert venue and Oxygen is a music festival here). Articles on "Slane Girl": Immediately After Concert After Investigation Took Place SLANE GIRL TLDR: 17 year old girl …

I know what you mean. I read this paper at work today and it pissed me and my male/female coworkers off. I didn't bring this point up with them, but I find it extremely difficult to imagine, if the offender was a male, that he would have some served time but maybe I am wrong. Up until a few months ago, I honestly thought that Ireland had some form of egalitarianism to boast about, but I've noticed females getting off free, or just playing the victim card and saying the man was the enabler and ge…

Good analysis. She is forcing her son to do the same thing. I forgot to mention that she told me that when I get married I should also buy a house for my wife. I couldn't help but laugh and asked her if I looked like an ATM machine and told her that if the day ever comes, we will have 2 separate bank accounts and all big spending will be 50/50... I couldn't help noticing that she was being serious because thats exactly what her husband did for her i.e. marry young, buy house etc... It was all go…

When I told a coworker that I don't plan on settling down and getting married until I am in my mid 30's, she called me selfish and told me that I should find a girl NOW and get married within 2 years (just like she is making her son who is the same age as me) do... I am 22

As a soon to be HR graduate hoping for a career in recruitment, your last point is accurate...although employment law says otherwise... But yeah, my primal instincts will lead me towards hiring an attractive person who looks like they have self discipline and control over their own life. It is biased and illegal in practice, but theres no denying that our primal instincts take over.
