Fair point, random sampling doesn't account for the gender skew for certain job applications. It may have been an over simplified concept that since the rough 50-50 ratio of men/women in the population would translate to 50-50 ratio in the work place if we ignored sex as a determining factor in the hire. It was just a thought of hiring based on the merit of the individual, not certain characteristics that can define a person. I was in the mindset of White Collar jobs. 1	Here's my comment under new college newspaper article that trivializes the victimization of the wrongly accused Purely from a Marketing major perspective... its too damn long. Well thought out and articulated in its presention but its just too long. I was fading out halfway through and this is something that interests me. Know your audience, the twitter generation. I remember a similar study saying that African Americans tested poorer when reminded of a certain stereotype before an exam. I also remember a study where certain students (Selected randomly) were labeled "Star Students" by Psychologists in the study and these "Star Students" were destined to succeed.
