Yep, my degree was in Biochem and it was pretty much garbage unless you want to go for a graduate degree. There's not a whole lot that it enables that you couldn't have done out of high school. Certainly a worse outcome than a trade school

/u/ForumPolice is right ​ This is the CDC article. You'll notice that it is entirely based on interviews and surveys of the father. In this article, they asked the kids. Only 42.9% of black adolescents said they have a father role model in their life. I'm a fan of the CDC but that article is garbage. Everything in it is what the father says they do, but when you interview the kids themselves you start to get a completely different story
