Well, we're a pandemic hotspot, northern states are quarantining visiting North Carolinians, and half of our elected officials are openly condemning the mandatory mask order and it's become a political marker. We're also having small scale protesting or massive rioting depending on how you choose to describe the black lives matter movement. The joy of being a purple state.

Exactly. Not a hard rule. I had a defense lawyer tell me my prosecuting their client for voting while a felon was unconstitutional. My simple reply was that the prohibition against voting as a felon was in our (state) constitution.

I just read 3 law review articles saying 13th specifically applies to private actors. ACLU is one of top search returns and says the same thing as the law reviews. You're generally right, that to violate rights generally requires state action, but it's not a hard rule. Further, state action can be spread down to even private actions in that it requires the state to enforce the violation of the right (donate park for blacks only, sell land for only whites to live in).

Did you just undo the 13th amendment banning slavery? Can't be put to death for treason either? Plenty of constitutional provisions apply to citizen actors.

They say 90, but it's usually a day or two max. They cut it down at the end of court when the audience is gone.

Kids need a lot more than just daycare to survive. Food, clothes, doc visits, toys, furniture, larger house and so on.

I don't know. All inclusive. There's only one othodonist within a hour of here. Get the sense they don't touch braces that aren't there's though.

Because you go to the othodonist every other month or so to get wires adjusted for 18 months. That's a lot of flights.

$702 a month is a bargain. Childcare on an infant is 1k a month. Easy. My 10 year old just needed braces. 6k. This isn't even feeding or sheltering. Just random ass shit you gotta open your wallet for.

Reach is just one aspect. Another is leverage and speed. You lose both as you get taller. No need for names shitstain. I literally said this wasn't based on data, just my first hand experiences. I'll go back to the very few fights I've seen with tall vs short people and tell them the tall guy was supposed to win.

Usually tall lanky people seem to lose from what I see. Just a biased first hand view not based on data.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
