I'm sure it's all going to work for the best. :) You're no old hag so don't even worry about that!

Everyone wants to be someones muse, the issue is being the ONLY muse. It's too much pressure on a person.

How would she know that's what his motivations are? The reason behind his motivations to "achieve stuff in life" don't matter so much as him telling her. As soon as he tells her that she's the only reason he achieves stuff in life she's going to feel he isn't in control and lose attraction to him. With that being said some women WOULD enjoy that. I don't expect they're in the majority but I would expect him to be able to read the relationship well enough to know.

Sure women do, just not to the same extent.

I think male sexuality adapts to what it can get I think this is conditioning. Anyone can condition themselves to liking anything they want. If you masturbate to a rug every day and you walk into a room with a rug your bodies response will be sexual.

To be clear the risk you've proposed is the woman getting pregnant, or getting an STD? Women also have to worry if the condom breaks and he doesn't say anything, or going through the pain of an abortion, or ruining their social reputation, or the father ditching if she does get pregnant. Also, men are told of these risks and it's made very clear growing up. The real issue/risk is the fact that they have high T. Men get hot and heavy and forget that they need to be aware and cautious.

I think there are a couple things. Posture is a big one. Someone slouched looks like theyre hiding. His facial expression is another one. Non confident people have a look on their faces like concern over everything.

Cheating on a guy Nope! Breaking up with a guy Yes. We were incompatible and he's with a woman perfectly suited to him, and I'm with a man perfectly suited to me. It was for the best. Shit testing a guy Probably. I've never thought "oh better shit test this guy". Liking a guy with a good physique Liking someone who is healthy in appearance seems rational to me. So, yes. Branch swinging Nope! Refusing to participate in intellectual conversations This is just a silly question. What does this mean.…

norm enforced by society through written and unwritten laws. Which written laws enforce marriage?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/19 09:41 PM

I think OP is misunderstanding what the Dad said. I don't think he meant to never listen to women, but that when it comes to dating and looking for signals, he needs to watch instead of listen. But like most of the these posts it's probably it's a miscommunication error.

I don't think it's going to be something that can be measured. Marriage rates are going down simply because the younger generations don't want to get married anymore. Why would they? It costs money, and common law is pretty similar for what they want. And being married doesn't stop them from splitting up anyway.

Men don't have to worry about divorce rape if they don't put themselves in idiotic situations. A+

I could hole up in my house 100% of the time with my doors locked and I'd still be more likely to be hurt by a man than a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 03:37 AM

I think you're trying to say that because women allow themselves to fall victim to crimes that it isn't the mens fault. But you do realize that men are still the ones committing the crimes against them right?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 03:26 AM
6

But you do realize that there is more danger to women from men then just a random raping in an alleyway right?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 03:12 AM

Maybe. What I'm saying is your heart racing is not a clear indication of danger.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 03:01 AM

Why should people be shamed into taking risks? Good for you for taking the risk to come into harms way, but that is not practical advice. It's not irrational to want to stay safe.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 03:00 AM

If your heart is starting to race, that's your cue to sack up or ship out. You're heart racing is also a sign you're into the guy and are attracted to them.

The actual hitting is irrelevant . What matters is the consequences after. If a women get hit and doesn't give two shits vs If a man gets hit and is traumatized for a long time. Women are more likely to be affected negatively by it is all.

TRP seems like a support group for men who have encountered women with BPD. So to them it seems like there are SO many women with BPD because all the men affected by these women have collected in the same place. Also, after dating someone with BPD you're going to be more cautious to avoid someone like that in the future. BPD is a serious mental issue.

It also sounds like OP wants a long term relationship, someone to share his life with. Hiring a sex worker doesn't solve this problem.

This is victim mentality. You refuse to change, and blame all of your problems on other people. You need a reality check. You're the only person who can make your life better. And to be clear, you're life isn't bad at all. Fat people have happy successful relationships all the time, so besides being fat what is your problem exactly? You sound entitled and should get off the internet and start hanging out with regular people.

Like most things it varies due to the people involved. With that said, I say that most relationships the man isn't the one to bring it up because women tend to move faster than men. Women are the ones who want a baby/marriage earlier than men do. Men have more time to settle on these things than women. When a woman decides to bring it up I'd recommend reading the situation first. For me I was sitting in his truck and said "oh, hey can we change our facebook status?" and looked over at him to see…

What do you think of the facebook post? I think as a religious woman it makes sense. It's not entirely wrong. However I think her point comes from the children's point of view. There are two parents that relieve the burden when both parents work. The kids may be getting all of the good things from both parents. To a woman like her in her situation she doesn't consider this. Have you ever come across someone with similar views? No one talks about these things IRL anymore. Everyone is accepting of…

Uglier people have lower confidence and a higher chance of mental illness. Most ugly people are fat as well, which adds to the odds they will have a mental illness. Those with a mental illness are more likely to make poor choices for themselves. I'm not saying it's a guarantee, I'm saying it's most likely. TRP teaches you to treat women like objects, plates. Thus is not the way a mentally healthy person will enjoy being treated. I don't see how this doesn't prove my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/18 09:52 AM

Preferences for easily manipulated women, vulnerable women If I'm not mistaken this is part of the game strategy when first branching out into sleeping around. They tell men to go for a 3 just to boost their confidence level.

All women want to be taken care of. It's one of the AWALT things I would agree with. Feminists however, want to be taken care of but still have their freedom. So a masculine sexist man that still lets them be strong independent women when they want to be is going to be the most attractive option.

A large part of the modern workforce are technical trades, which typically have people with less social skills. These people still do well but are limited. Those few who do have social skills are typically plucked out for more managerial roles such as team lead, director, or even project management. Lacking social skills still stunts peoples career growth. Women see this, and are looking for the best they can get. These women were scammed, that sucks. But do they "deserve" it? Who cares. No one really knows if any of them deserved it. They knew full well they were being recorded and still made the decision to do this. It's on them, no one else. They should deal with the consequences.

is it dating when it's just sex? For many modern women sleeping around is the new dating. Try many men and then find one that sticks.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 02:29 PM
8

I guess that's what comes from getting a lot of very easily achievable attention. I think this is true. Online dating has caused this. A woman at a bar would approach this in a less arrogant way.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 02:27 PM
9

I think this is a female dating strategy. Women do have more choices in online dating simply because men will swipe whoever they can till one sticks. Women on the other hand know this and are given the choice from all of those men blindly swiping. They don't think they deserve it, but rather know they have a better option. I'm also a little confused. Haven't men always had to prove their worth? Why is it expected to be different with a dating app?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/18 02:25 PM

No, I understood. Being able to afford the transgressions means they're attractive/masculine in the first place. However, simply being able to afford the transgressions is not sexy. Do you see the difference in the two statements?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/18 03:58 AM
2

but being very masculine and thus able to afford transgressions of the gender norms (i.e. being able to transgress them a few times here and there without being socially emasculated) is seen as sexy. Can you explain this more then? I'm saying it isn't seen as sexy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/18 03:52 AM

A masculine man can afford to bend the gender stereotypes and come out with their masculinity in tact. But doing these things does not make the man MORE attractive. They are still attractive despite doing the feminine thing.

No, it's delusion. If other people are the problem then you're the victim. I suggest manning up and owning your own problems. I guarantee things will become easier.

From the outside perspective that makes the man appear self entitled. That self entitlement likely comes with other less desirable traits. Just because YOU think that's why she wants him doesn't mean that why you weren't picked.

Okay. Real here. You look cute. Which isn't what most men want to be! But you have things going for you. A full head of hair for instance. You're not hopeless, but you could work on yourself a bit more. Maybe take some self defense classes or something idk. Also, please just go outside and not let yourself spiral down into depression.

I only dress to please him, and to look professional at work. I wear things he likes, and avoids things he does not like. For example, I used to wear a lot of maxi dresses. He doesn't like them! He doesn't think they look flattering on me. So I switched to shorts, which he loves. Turns out I love them too, and DO look better on me.

I agree with some of this, but a couple of things I feel are also beneficial for LRT couples. I'm wondering the thoughts on them: It's safer Is this a point for marriage preventing physical harm or is it for women who have already left previous men who were harmful? We do discuss proper vetting here! You'll get richer The longer you stay married, the more assets you build; by contrast, length of cohabitation has no relationship to wealth accumulation I agree with the first part, but is this quot…

As any woman knows, the first time a woman lays eyes on a penis she freaks out about how ugly it is and runs away. Wow. If this happened every time could you imagine how that would change the dynamic of sex? It would be hilarious, although sad. Men would probably start killing themselves.

This was a brilliant article. Well written but understandable. My favourite quote was These progressive pitches are not true revelations of what it is to be free, but are rather what Heidegger would classify as distortions. The liberation pitched by progressives to trap individuals brings gayness, femininity, and blackness to the surface and subsequently makes it their primary definition of who they are, albeit in progressive-defined ways. This further separates the targeted individual from thei…

Theory: well-adjusted people who love each other are happy to do what it takes to keep the household running and don’t waste time passive-aggressively trying to convince their spouse that he’s a bad person for not reading her mind. I've been very focused on house maintenance and being as supportive as possible. There's definitely a difference in how he talks to me and his general demeanor for me when I am so focused on taking care of his needs. As most of the ladies here have said it’s unhealthy for the baby at that age. It increases the risk of developmental issues. However when I told this to my SO (I’m 26 he’s 37) he said “then we will deal with it if it happens”. So it’s up to the two people deciding to have babies for sure how much of a risk they’re willing to take.

Absolutely. I was thinking about the child thing too. If I can’t fix this dog how will that translate to when I have children? It’s a good learning step. I’ll give a bit more info if you’re interested. I was living with my mom when we got the dog, and training was going very well. I did a ton research and worked with him daily. When we would go to the dog park people would regularly comment on how well behaved he was. Things got rocky with my mom and I decided to move out. She asked to keep him …

Money is definitely tight. I would love to get a hepa filter for my living room and bedroom. However I’m going to get the hepa filter for my furnace until I’m able to afford the hepa machines (and a roomba!) As for my dog I completely understand. He has a long history. I’ve done a lot of research of training dogs and the training and behaviour comes from me. I won’t go into specifics, but I am committed to helping him.

I agree with this. However I also think it's important to emphasize the "comfortable" aspect. My SO finds it most comfortable when there is no clutter and things are in their place. Some may think that causes the house to not look lived in, but he would disagree. My goal is to make him as comfortable as possible when he is home.
