I like your definition of Blue Pill as being "not Red Pill." Does the term "Blue Pill" bother you? It implies that Blue Pill people are delusional, when I'm starting to think that sometimes Red Pill people fit that description better.

LOL. This is brilliant. You probably get a lot of high fives for "telling it like it is" but would get the opposite if they knew your true gender.

This is really well put. Some people have commented that I should have posted this in RPW. To be honest, I thought RPW was a satire subreddit at first. Had a very Ann Coulter vibe about it.

Sorry for the late reply, just got my internet back, but I wanted to say...I thought Tempest WAS Dana. Not that I really know much about who Dana is, just have heard it thrown around here and there that she's crazy. So this means there are two of them!? Yeah, I think I'll pass on RPW.

You're right that the circlejerk factor is inherent in the system just about anywhere on Reddit/the internet. I should try to keep that in mind. I guess I thought that a place that prided themselves on "seeing reality for what it is" would be a little bit more openminded, and that's why it stung a little bit.

I only got hung up on it when I saw it happening not only to me, but to other women. I'm not crying a river over this though. Just kind of throwing my hands up in the air and saying "screw it, these red pill folks just aren't for me." So I guess I am just moving on with my day, but not before having a bit of a vent first. :)

If you agree, you're an attention whore, and if you disagree, you're the typical SRS, 2XC feminazi who doesn't know her own mind. It's frustrating.

I wasn't demanding upvotes or expecting them. Just didn't expect downvotes. The difference is subtle, I will admit, but it's there. I think there are so many different definitions of what a feminist is. There are plenty of asshole women who have tarnished what it was meant to be originally, which was just equal rights. This has caused many of us, myself included, to hesitate when describing themselves as such. You were correct in guessing that I believe men and women should have equal rights, an…

I would turn the tables back on you then. What you seem to be "doing" is trying so hard to fit in with the red pill guys that you come across as an absolute doormat.

Would like to confirm this. I wasn't looking for attention or upvotes, but there is a difference between not being upset if you're not upvoted, and being a little (to use Tempest's term) butthurt if you're downvoted.

It IS a male space, I will give you that, but since most of their discussion revolves around women, I didn't realize how unwelcome our comments would be.

I wasn't attention whoring. You sound absolutely ridiculous and bullying in all your comments to me thus far though, so I'm not going to bother defending myself to you.

We've been together for a year and a half, if that's worth anything...

Definitely not. I was honestly expecting a "1 point." I never thought my comments were better or more valid than anyone else's, but I thought they were at least equal.

I definitely don't say "as a woman." I did that once and learned it was a mistake. I've deleted most of my TRP posts from my main account because the downvotes made me feel stupid, but here is a recent one I hadn't deleted yet: "This is such a lose-lose situation for the woman. Either the guy believes her when she tells him he's worthless, making her lose respect/attraction towards him, or he gets fed up and leaves her. I guess a third option would be that he gets angry, calls her out, and she b…

Ha, I don't know if I'm interesting enough for that, but please do feel free to ask me anything here in the comments.

Lol. I really hope you're a troll.

These are good points. Maybe the reason I thought they were "better" was because they were the sort of guys I used to be attracted to. Not to say that some of them aren't good guys, but you raised a good point in saying that many of them are angry and more likely to downvote. I wouldn't say I'm approaching "the wall" because I always wanted to settle down and have a stable, long-term, committed relationship to begin with, and never had any interest in sleeping around (I never mentioned the latte…

I wasn't telling anyone they needed to gain my approval! Or seeking approval, or attention, or even upvotes. Just didn't think I did anything downvote-worthy. My "not a feminazi" comment was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

It wasn't shocking to me that no one was concerned. If they didn't give a shit, it would have been fine. It just seemed kind of hostile, I guess.
