Both genders are like this. Not the majority, but the loudest ones are. The gods honest truth is social media elevates controversy and anger framing posts. Broad stroke generalizations just breed more resentment. 90% of people really aren’t this picky, they just want a person who will appreciate them.

Of you did the same survey with guys you would get the same exact results. Women are viewed as cold for only wanting sex and they’re sluts. But when I guy only wants sex that it’s just “the only way he can get dates”. You see the contradiction? You’re gonna tell me every last woman you’ve found attractive you wanted more than just sex from? Because if you do you’re either lying so you can look better, or you’re a far more romantic person than most Americans.

I mean, yeah, people have preferences. Just like how women’s body positivity hasn’t suddenly made ever man on earth abandon their preferred body for women. The point of body positivity isn’t to make others accept you, it’s to make you accept and love yourself. If you keep basing self worth on other peoples opinions of you you’re going to feel like shit all the time.

Most women don’t take advantage of nice guy doormats, the women who do seek out guys who are doormats to take advantage of. Most women are ordinary people who just want a relationship where both parties are happy. It’s not guys being nice and empathetic it’s guys placing all their happiness, fulfillment, and mental health on women.

Well not quite MGTOW, I’m a feminist who just doesn’t think you need to get married in order to show love for your partner.

Marriage is pointless. There’s no reason to just sign a piece of paper and get the government involved in your love life and relationship. Also it locks you into a relationship and makes separation not just an emotional burden but a financial burden as well. I don’t see the point of marriage outside of arbitrary social norms.

Sounds like you’ve built a defensive wall pretty thick. You’re creating scenarios in your head before they even happen which could be leading to things never really taking off. What I would suggest is look at yourself and some of your habits when talking to women and determine if perhaps that has a role in things not working. I know when I was unsuccessful I would overthink every interaction, every word said, and every move I made. I would overthink so much that it would turn women away. Also it…

I mean in any healthy relationship this stuff shouldn’t be “unspoken” , these should be talked about. Most of the time when I hear guys talk about women “not saying what they want” it’s generally they don’t listen to what they’re partner wants. If these things aren’t communicated then obviously something wrong with the relationship. And a small aside, I believe you’re free to leave a relationship at any point no matter what, you’re your own person and if you don’t want to be in a relationship th…

Not interested in “mating” so I’ll just say what I find generally attractive. Dark hair normally, fit, a nice butt, like things like hiking and taking care of their health, is independent, has a job, clean, is sexually confident, and not hugely religious. Things that turn me off are unhealthy habits (smoking, heavy drinking, lazy), too religious, clingy. What it mostly comes down to is someone who I can actually do things I enjoy with and who we’re both able to be our own people not so bound by …

I agree with the standing out, but that’s where personality and personal connection comes in. Even if you are average in every sense, if you connect with them they’ll be attracted to you.

No not famous, not wealthy, not huge muscles, and not below average women. Is that really what you think qualifies people to have sex? If you’re not 6’+ and workout you have to be rich or famous? Ya know even being 6’2 I get turned down. Women aren’t valid creatures, they’re people who have certain traits they like. Also in my experience you don’t get sex just on looks, I don’t care how good looking you are, you have to charm the girl, build even a small connection before anything happens

I have to disagree, I’ve seen more than my fair of average guys get laid. Many of them are friends who are much shorter than me who still can get with women no problem

I just don’t feel that I have a particularly attractive face, not hideous but certainly nothing to retire home about. I yeah, every woman I’ve been with I have found them hot, otherwise to be frank I wouldn’t have had sex with them.

No not at all. I still kept the same standards I’ve always had.

Perfectly average lad here, had plenty of sex without relationships. I’ve witnessed plenty of average guys have sex outside of relationships.

That people would stop with the stupid bigotry. Recognize race, money, nations are all made up in order for a group of people to try and establish a hierarchy. Lastly for people to just recognize that when you’re good to people and you put out that positivity, you attract that stuff back 10 fold.

Being happy being single is the first step to being happy with someone. If you’re looking to be made while or happy by a relationship you’re always going to be miserable. Learn to love yourself.

I’d say a healthy sex life is very important but it comes with more effort than I think most men are ready to give. As men we’re kind of taught that “female orgasm is a myth” “there is no gspot” “I got mine” and this leads to unsatisfying sex for both parties. Women are unsatisfied because the guy does 5 minutes of missionary and this leads to women not really putting out any extra effort because the guy isn’t. Also men have to put down the porn, get off the internet, and listen to what women wa…

This sounds less like "women hitting a wall" and more like "men who don't get laid are bitter because they couldn't get sex". If your biggest fear when it comes to growing old is just your sexual experience then you need to open your mind to the bigger picture. When I'm old the last thing I'm going to be thinking about is the women I've slept with, I'm going to be thinking about my experiences, trips, and friends I've made.

I mean it depends on what the avenue we met was. If I was friends with them then yeah there's already a deeper connection and the first date is mostly the bridge if you will in to the romantic part of the relationship. If I met them online or someone set me up on a date then chances are it's a bit more of a "let's see if there's a spark" kind of thing. I don't really expect much outside of either getting to know each other or building on already existing feelings. I get the feeling there's this …

Never abstain from talking about that with a partner, you do have to do it at a proper time however. If you've been dating somone for like a month then yeah probably not the best time to bring up deep serious talks, but the more connected you get the more you need to be open about if you want it to work. In my early relationships where I played the tough not talking about my insecurities card and they ended horribly because I would get frustrated easier with my partners and it's because I felt l…

It is not, of course women like vulnerability, that's why women are always the one asking for it. In my life women who leave when a guy gets vulnerable are trash women, and same goes the other way. And yeah if you don't out yourself out there you're never going to find someone. Cutting people off after you've been hurt isn't healthy for your love life or for your mental health. Learn from breakups and relationships.

Everyone is being thrown into the emotional meat grinder. It's incredibly rare to find the perfect partner right off the bat. When experience the exact same thing. Dating lots of guys who are jerks and don't trust them right. These stories tend to always be one sided. I'm not saying every guy is lying but it's necessary to look at your own actions in a relationship as well as your partners to understand what happened. Is it that you were vulnerable or is it that you had unaddressed problems that…

Just like most overworked, overstressed, daydrinking middleaged single men will never admit they made mistakes. Women have really only been getting the advice to live their lives the way they see fit. The concept that someone should be married at age x, have children by age x, is such an arbitrary concept that shouldn't be forced on to people. Women are more concerned with being the people they want to be, rather than being what they "should be". There is nothing wrong with marriage, I'm friends…

Because we as men are taught to let women generally carry the relationship. We get comfortable with the get to know you phase to the point where we feel resentment when our partner starts to ask for growth from us. I know i used to have a serious problem with my partner voicing they're concerns with my more toxic traits. Self-centeredness, lack of professional drive, being a stay at home son. I viewed it as personal attacks rather than just them wanting me to be the best person for them and for …

How would it be better? Would it be better because men get to treat women however they want and women would have to just sit there and take it like in the 50's? Women breaking up with men because of their negative behavior isn't a bad thing its a good thing. If i didn't accept that the reason some of my breakups happened was because of my own behavior i wouldn't be in nearly as happy of a relationship as I am now.
