On the flip side of this, I know a couple in which almost an identical situation happened, but the woman was incredibly supportive, and they’re still together years later. Then again, the guy in question is 6’6”, a footie genius, and a mensa member, so it’s not a fair comparison for mere mortals with trauma.

Before this gets written off as true Purple Pilling, from a biological standpoint, it checks out. An adjacent point is that there are two primary ways to avoid damage from routine bond-severing. The first is to have a granite fucking bedrock of friends and family. You millennials call it a tribe, or whatever. In essence, you’re getting that oxytocin elsewhere. The second option is true buddhist/zen disattachment. You draw oxytocin from the experience of life itself, not from any of your friendsh…

Take heed, the road to upside-down bizarro-world is paved by Wednesday Martin. You can bet that anything she writes angles toward the ‘woman’s place’ becoming that of a 1950s man.

I am a ‘name’ in my field, and I was once the target of a similar extortion, albeit with someone I already knew with actual compromising pictures of me. I said ‘Please, I want everyone to drool when they catch the scent of my work, but they can drool over me, too.’ Since then, though, a blanket rule: never send anything you’d pay money to scrub from existence. Simple. As for your hot mystery girl, just hang out with her, somewhere public. Sounds like a scam to me, but if she really wants you, sh…

Yeah, but it sounds like he’s implying she gets the raw end of the deal (heh). Only thing I can offer is that commenter is a man at her ‘alpha ceiling,’ where his wife’s relative ambience of men tops out at damn near his own SMV. No obvious branch swing, provisioning met, and human lust for novelty slaked on all counts. It’s a take on married redpill that most would balk at, but hey, let the Normcores weep and wail and self-flagellate.

Love it. Once I get my tuvan throat singing together I'll hav to give it a try. By the way, you might appreciate "Money Jungle." I's a trio record that almost didn't get made, because each of the musicians was a band-leader/composer and they fought constantly while making it. On drums, Max Roach. On piano, Duke Ellington. On bass, Charles Mingus.Literally a 'who-the-fuck put these guys in the same room' record. Their of Caravan is one of my favorites ever.

Is it worth procreating if you doom your procreation to failure? This is why any liberal Green New Deal will eventually lift the taboo on procreation limits or certification, and I, for one, am all for it. Also, this is a forum generally about how to open the pink gates, not how to pour yer demon spawn forth from said gates. Sexual strategy ≠ procreational strategy

I think you're addressing Pareto-compression and how far society can sink into entitled expectations. Say you're hypergamous, and you jump from bottom-80 into top-20. Then you somehow manage to jump from that top-20 into the new top-20 (top-96th), then from there you jump once more from top-96th to top-99.98th. Well, can you jump again? The answer, of course, is very likely 'no' – but the true decline will come later. Now, women are only ever ravenously interested in the top men (I'd say 90th pe…

Bingo. And making men feel helpless against the Collective Womanhood is the precise principle of Feminist Unionization. TRP can't change that, it can only enlighten you re: the current tides of society. Also, u/TheImpossible1, it's important to remember that contextually, you always have next to no power in the universe. This is where the Sagan-perspective is helpful. You zoom in enough, you are a god. You zoom out far enough, you are a speck. You don't need to rob anyone else of their power, bu…

Then until you figure out the real problem, you must be one with rejection. Even monks can't meditate easily for long periods without falling asleep, so a facilitator hits them with a stick when they start to drowse. How many men drowse their whole life? When we hit you with the stick, you should be thankful. There are tips and tricks we can give you, and they're all in the sidebar. But your issue seems to be a mirror-issue. You can't see yourself for your benefits, and you don't know how to pro…

I think comment-OP is referring to harassment and sexual violence, which are two of the actual solid arguments that Feminists come knocking with. Predatory, as best as I can gather, in the minds of pro-Fems has extended from the classical sexual rape (taking sex by force) to any sort of sexual unpleasantness. But as TRP knows, if you're giving someone predation and violence that they *want,* it ain't either of those two things. And the line between them is simply whether or not the active party …

Modern society creates man-children. Coddle anybody too long and they become arrested. TRP was initially created for male sexual strategy, but there were so few people that ended up here as full-grown Men to begin with, in the ethos-ideal of the sense of Man, that TRP has gradually shifted according to need; now it angles to help man-children become actual men.

Yeah, of course they did, because it tells men that they ought to be nice little providers. It's telling them that they have to do all these 'chivalrous' play-acts because it's the 'right thing to do.' When you create moral imperatives, you destroy the fundamental truth of the world – that actions have consequences, or in this case, that a man should expect anything for working hard. The next logical step is that children should not have to obey advice or commands from their parents, and that a …

No, you won't put your foot down. This is the premise of how feminism works – the individual male will not rise against the collective female unionization. Media feminism translates into a trickle-down effect between singular man-to-woman interactions. The hilarious thing about feminism is that by decimating the entitlement of the average man, it makes the world's easiest pickings for a superior man, ipso facto.

The thing about Zen Koans is that they sound cryptic, trite, or inane, without the proper wisdom. But once you have the understanding, the encapsulating statement makes all the sense. He's right – be one with rejection and you'll do well. It's obvious that you have an issue with rejection. Just look at your handle. If you didn't feel you were despised by women, if you didn't project that onto every woman you see as you walk down the street – what could you accomplish? How could you ever cold ope…

The ‘women are children’ truism around here is an extension of societal provisioning. Any human who is never weaned from suckling influences cannot fully grow up. Most attractive women have resources flung at them throughout life, and so they MAY but are not *obligated to mature fully due to their intrinsic social standing (until the colloquially-known Wall arrives). And yes, it’s shallow, but if we’re talking about working on becoming attracitve to women here, you can bet we’re prepending ‘attr…

You’re making the assumption that men here are constantly lobbing verbal abuse at women in disproportion to the return rate of verbal abuse from women. The going argument at TRP is that an individual woman will be happier with a high-quality man. As someone who has spent decades becoming massively-skilled in my field, the other people who are less acclaimed seem a bit like children. They love me for my skill and my advice at work, and I don’t pretend that they are my equals - instead, everyone a…

Even in disarray, a woman never seeks lesser men. She only allows one to penetrate her inflated standards if she is seeking a specific benefit. This lasts until she feels she no longer needs the benefit. Here’s a way to root out this trick: check for differences in what she looks for in a *man, versus what she looks for in a *relationship. Though if you’re supposed to be one of those potential men, you won’t get a straight answer if she’s already compromising her desires in order to salvage you …

Look, normally I'm not one to nitpick, but my apparent statistical fallacy is brokered as a compromise. If you were going to make predictions of suspected variance from this self-selection against a representative sample, I'd offer up simply as a guiding heuristic "They're here trying to get laid more." So out the window goes the most suave, the most handsome, the most successful, the wealthiest – you can lop off a nice little pizza slice from the right side of the representative bell. What we'r…

Shocking though it might be to discover that my wing leans to the left, I'd actually ask you to consider leaving transgender people out of your argument. I live in a pretty big stronghold of Les Libs ('les' as in the french bourgeois, not as in the greek 'lesbos') , and as a result have made quite a few friends from all backgrounds, including trans people. The only evidence I can provide is anecdotal, but what most of these people seem to want is to just be left alone. I mean, what they really, …

This is incredibly important to understand. Bravo. -------------------------- Equally important is an understanding that this strategy is viable for achievements as well as positive traits. Ergo, it's easy to internalize "I am tall," or "Got a big 'ol dick," as these are pretty irrefutable and require no work – they're just lottery dispensations from yer dubble helix. That's pretty obvious, but the reason I bring it up is that we as brainmonkeys are just as likely (in fact, more likely) to inter…

This is part of the reason that people hold the mantra "compare yourself to who you were yesterday." Measuring progress against yourself rather than others is helpful no matter where you personally fall – lowest of the low or boldest of the bold. Ultimately, most of us want to increase our status because of how it positions us in the world, not just in relation to our former self. I don't think it's realistic to be solipsistic only in your comparisons. If you can keep focused only on how you fee…

I'm gonna try to condense some social calculus for you. In my hand, I hold a little pill. You can guess the color. First: Here's a brief definition of the Dunning-Kruger effect. Wikipedia lists: "In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people of low ability have illusory superiority and mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it." This manifests in loads of ways. People underestimate the time it takes them to take to do something. Nine…

I can offer two takeaways, one to OP and another to the rest of youse guys: Dear Youse Guys: Don't cuck yourself. This poor boy cucked himself. You can't let your feathers be raised or your hackles be ruffled so easily by biological imperatives. We've been engineered by nature to want sex as badly as we want food and water, often more. Men largely got the short end of the stick re: abundant access to sex on a whim. TRP tries to give you tools to even those odds out for yourself. But women are th…

Great, now TRP is starting to get full-bore clickbait spam."Try this one weird trick to be more alpha." There's not concrete advice here, and even the topology of the metaphysics simmers down to a fine balsamic reduction of "know thyself." This is not revolutionary, but even if it were simply meant to point towards that axiom, it needs to be more coherent. To boot, you've wantonly-invoked an E.C.'s name (in what I'm guessing is a hail-mary for upvotes) like some sort of unwieldy Stan Lee cameo. …

I can agree with TRP-as-paradigm, but there’s certainly a prescriptive ideology here re: how to become a ‘winner’ within its lens. In addition to the writings about improving oneself, there’s also a vast amount of writing about how to ‘handle’ women. Whether that writing tends to work for any given person is irrelevant- if you have a horse in the race of ‘gaining the upper hand in sexual dynamics’ you’d necessarily need to decry any group whose trade secrets (so to speak) included those writings…

There is no way you can win this except by blocking, ignoring, and letting her see you with better prospects in the future. Every interaction you have described, since you already broke in front of her, is giving her additional validation by repeated opportunities to best you. In the new atmosphere, ‘beating a man’ is a very important psychological trophy, and one that you’re apparently handing out like it’s a greenpeace leaflet.

I’m a stickler back from ‘shop safety’ rules, so I keep the paper wrapper the razor comes in. I just put it back in the little plastic container each pack of 5 comes in. When it’s time to swap to the new razor, I put the old blade back in the paper and tape it once all the way around with a bit of gaff tape. That ain’t cuttin’ anybody ever. Then I bin it. As for metal recycling, there may be a way, but it’s a negligible quantity and I’m going safety first.

It is impossible to present this community to the mainstream at the present time. Read on to learn why. Amorality among sexual strategy is a principle tenet of TRP, and this creates a 'love is war' doctrine which cannot be cordially absorbed by women, on the whole. There is a fairly strong bastion of speech on this forum that is codified as 'radical' or 'hate' speech by the mainstream– whether it's coming from individuals who have been burned by their enveloping social system, anger-phasers reli…

'Safety' razors, a name that is now a kind of misnomer in the era of disposable-cartridge 5-blade Rube Goldberg razors, were so-named because they were safer than a straight razor – e.g. safer than putting a naked blade right up against yer moneymaker. You can absolutely use them in place of a 'regular' razor, by which I assume you mean disposable. You don't need to use a full brush and cream with them, canned cream will do just fine in a pinch or for convenience. One pass across the face should…

The APA as an organization serves the function that any mainstream psychological body serves for its particular culture or nation-state: to identify and prepare its populace to be receptive to the personality types that the society 'needs,' contextually. We in the West are largely living in countries with less overt conflict, more agreeableness, and more stratified, less-navigable social and occupational hierarchies. The APA says stoicism, dominance, aggression – the trademarks of masculinity – …

Safety razor is your answer. Pick up 100 blades for ten bucks, handle for 10-15, congrats, now your shaves cost as low as 10c for your first 200 shaves (I don’t typically use a blade more than twice, but if you’re paycheck to paycheck and want to pinch pennies, you could manage three unless you have wiry hair). Just go slow when you’re getting started, no need to add some new fishgills into your jaw.
