Sounds like a sign. You should trust in fate enough to see where it will go and if it will work out long term. If you two start getting deep feelings just be honest and open about the status. I almost lost someone very important to me because we met during the time I was still technically married. Undoing a marriage takes so much time. If she's important to you keep her appraised every step of the way so she doesn't think she is just a rebound or that you aren't serious about her. You will do fi…

Accept it. There are heavy external influences at play here that you aren't privy to. Unless something egregious happened like you cheated, her reasoning lacks rationale. Do you want to fight to keep someone who so willingly discards you? I worry she met someone and is hedging how it goes but doesn't want to sink the final nail in your relationship coffin so she has a safe place to come back to. Otherwise there would be some kind of explanation worthy of such drastic measures. Accept it and unde…

Bro you have your whole self-esteem all wrapped up in this. See a therapist and or doctor and get yourself straight. Get on medication or talk it out. Whatever you need to do. We all wrap our identity up in our roles... Father, lover, provider, family man, good employee, all that garbage. You are you, not the summary of the roles you perform. You are a human being. Enjoy some hobbies, meet some friends and learn how to compartmentalize your former life of roles while creating a new life and the …

She strikes people in the face and is allowed around your child... That sounds like an issue right there. What happens when she loses it because her decisions caused her life to implode. Will your toddler be the target next time. My Dude... Talk to a lawyer or police about and emergency RO. It bothers me because if the roles were reversed they have a place where women can go and all of that is basically automatic. You get filed through a whole assembly line of how to keep yourself and children s…

I dealt with of these things for 20 years. There are a only a few ways to manage their poor behavior but they are very effective. 1. When they mess up, call them on it calmly and immediately. Stick to the issue. For most things I chose not even to battle about it. Only the most critical things were addressed. Winning the war or achieve a desirable final outcome is more important than battling about who get the toaster oven. 2. If you choose to engage in a battle, don't allow them to move the goa…

It's hard to stop that knee jerk reaction where you were expected to help her before. As everyone else said, she chose somebody else. It's her problem to take care of herself and if her new man can't do it, too bad so sad. You're doing great Man. Keep your chin up and lip stiff. She must now endure the consequences of her decision

Be up front with your intentions. She's an adult. Be aware she might be looking to marry in about 5 years or so. Don't lead her on.

What did you do to lose her?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
