Uh, no, I personally am independantly wealthy. But I see that I’ve struck a nerve. Lol. And seriously guy, leave the high schoolers alone already.

Nooooo, don’t mean plain T-shirt and jeans. Lol. That’s okay on anyone, unless ofc they should be dressing better to impress and aren’t. Also, personal style is actually a HUGE factor of appearance. Certainly men also judge women on that. Nor does any of this answer that if men are so very aware that their ugliness is a factor that they are not as invested (if not more) than women in improving their appearance. 🤷

It’s perfectly fine to get to know a person before asking them out. The problem is when you don’t somewhat early on let them know you’re interested that way, which also does the object of their affection (and themselves) the disservice of having a CHOICE. Instead, they think they have a friend, not a person awaiting to be a lover. The reason The Friendzone type actually does this is because they don’t want their delusions shattered, the truth is a selection of these people are actually very unhi…

As the lack of men fulfilling the protector and provider role further encouraged women to go these routes. I shudder when I think about the kind of domestic abuse that still goes on, as it affected my family as well.

In my experience, wether male or female, you often get the lesser attractive person (by society) tolerating some bullshit that they probably should not to keep the looker. Also, the less attractive person may be rich. There are some good films with this premise.

This doesn’t help explain why so many men dress so badly if they know this.

I find the opposite to be true. Especially with divorce and death. Maybe you mean the women who get used to being used mostly for sex?

Yeah, there seems to be some delulu going on here, maybe it’s a ploy to try to get women to go for the less good looking men by reading this?? Like, oh woe as me, I finally see the error of my ways, and certainly if I date a much less good looking guy then I will end up married! I’m pretty sure life doesn’t work that way either. There is a reason the old, famous song goes, “If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife, from my personal point of view, get…

“Friendzone Guys“ know damn well why they aren’t a little more upfront with their interest, they often invest far too much and far too long and earn their own “rage”. I’ve personally known when for one reason or another, a person whom I was attracted to probably wouldn’t work out — I never resented being kind to them and often enjoyed being in their company even if we didn’t hook up. It could be pleasant just to have their attention for a while. And for the record, my tastes can be broad and unc…

Well, especially if they’re going to be used by both of them. I mean, God forbid they actually got turned on enough to at least orgasm like the guy does far more easily. Edit: Although the term “fuckboi” existing and seen as a slur probably invalidates your theory.

Middle age women who don’t have children are invisible to society though. Not hot enough to f-ck and not old enough to be mother substitutes. If they use their life experience outloud, or speak with any authority, or dare object to anything, then they’re labeled a “Karen” at this point (which is practically a mortal sin).

Woah. Have a drink of water. Calm down. I’m not sure what maternal issues I’m dealing with in yourself, that you dodged these very simple questions with such hostility, but I suppose it does answer that you have psychological hangups connected to them. There absolutely are terms like chivalrous, protector, provider, and gentlemanly behavior (many men like to pride themselves on it) — such as the man who started this thread. However, I’m no longer expecting a reasonable conversation on the matter…

What do you think it means? What do you think “simping” means?

Nah, it’s because they’re cowardly. Come on, we can be honest here. It’s also due to perhaps financial obligations, they can’t or don’t want to pay. They want sex for free. Wether they know that’s practical or not. But if there is a chance, they’ll keep playing the game. Having polite conversations. Gauging interest. Actually asking someone out instead of stalking them, trying to just text/sext them, or get them to come back to your place. They want someone to get to know them. At least a little…

Is this why men do this thing of ANNOUNCING or trying to humiliate a woman for appearing to flirt with them?

It’s nobody’s job to do that though. This seems to be the trap that too many fall into. I’d hold the door open and help someone run away from someone with an argument like this one. Red flags galore. (that hopefully would be recognized with good therapy)

Yes, they will. Either because they hope she is gay, think they can turn her gay, or heard a rumor that she is gay.

Eh, it’s actually gotten heavily invaded (and in some cases destroyed) by men lately.

There has to be a line between treating her like a lady and simping. I think it’s better to get to know someone better perhaps before treating her like your special lady, then the acts/gestures feel more sincere.

I took this to mean what I’ve seen, treating them like second class citizens. And stuff like running away after they get them pregnant. Stuff like that.

Serious question, no judgement (I’m gay) - such as? Like what’s ugly in a guy, but attractive in a woman to you?

These excellent questions belong on lesbian dating apps RIGHT NOW, and could help to enlighten the “transmaxxing” crowd in particular.
