This line is from fight club, but I don't think you are understanding it correctly. Trying to have sex with 10s as much as possible is mental masturbation too. Trying to get ripped, get a carrier, make money, buy cool stuff, all mental masturbation. Because you are just doing what society fucking tells you to do. You just do that to get recognition from others. You are NOT living your own life. You are living other peoples dream lives. You have to find out what is important for YOU, and work on …

If I were you I wouldn't try to make a point. Ask questions, be subtle, try to make people think critical of what they are saying. Show flaws in arguments, but don't show them your own views. For example, in the wage gap-argument say something alike that economically this wouldn't make sense. "If we assume that corporations and their stockholders want to maximize profits, how does it makes sense to pay men more than women? Wouldn't they only pay men more if they would be worth more to the compan…

It kind of destroys the whole notion of love, the reason someone is with you is because of your status etc.

Hmmm, I still kind of feel how you left my question unanswered. And another point: these are not the kind of persons you'd want to attract... You'd want to attract a person who exhibits attractive behaviour to you, not what the person deems attractive behaviour.
/r/TheRedPill08/09/13 06:04 AM
1

Hmm, that would be a logical conclusion indeed, but not all behaviour is sexual/attraction based. How do you distinguish between normal behaviour of a person and their behaviour meant to attract someone?
/r/TheRedPill07/09/13 05:44 PM

OP, according to the fundamental theorem, how do you actually know what the opposite gender will find attractive? It is impossible to deviate that from any behaviour whatsoever according to this theorem.

Brave is not the word. But I do think it is compassionate to not return the violence, especially to someone who is blinded and weaker than you.

That is a sign of low self-esteem, or mental problems. You need a lot of patience for that.

Dude, this isn't about ruining an adventure. Even though its onesided, all you could make up from this are that the husbands friends are terrible people. So if you think by deing a decent human being you are doing a bad thing, then fuck you OP.

Yeah I think most comments here are missing the point. NAWALT is about the biological imperatives which we can only supress up to a certain level.

I have two housemates (male and female) who are both really handsome, have a different bf/gf, but a really deep platonic friendship. I'm not saying this is the same case as an ex-boyfriend, but I definitely think a friendship is possible.

There are not that many people in the entire world, let alone herpes infections, so how could doctors possibly conclude that this can happen? I must assume that it happens more that 1:10.000 for this effect to be noticeable for medical workers.

Women don't like nice guys and men don't commit to sluts. What is the big deal with these people.

The hypocricy here is that society (i.e. women, feminism) is actively creating and training men not to behave masculine, and denying any notion of masculinity. This is hypocritical, because in the end, she is attracted to masculine behaviour.

Exactly this, equality goes both ways, and supporting one way doesn't mean that you are promoting equality, you might be hindering it.

Saying there is NOT 50.1% of evidence of rape is NOT the same as saying there is 50.1% of evidence of a false accusations. Evidence is not a binairy, saying there is no evidence one way is not the same as saying there is evidence the other way. If I did a physics experiment testing classical physics vs quantum physics, and my evidence doesn't give a 50.1% support for quantum physics, doesn't mean that classical physics is true.

He isn't doing harm to anyone else by having a fake ID and drinking under age, only to himself. While it might not be smart, why should it be a crime?

I major in math and physics, and if it's one thing I have learned during my study, it's the things you are mentioning. Being an intellectual has nothing to do with someone wanting you to be that, or taking a few subjects. It's about things like: Logic, to correctly understand the implications of ideas. Critical thinking, to analyse ideas and to be able to pose good and relevant questions. Showing interest outside of your comfort-zone and to be open to new ideas and concepts. All of this has litt…
