I actually think the law was introduced to support lawyers and judges to keep making money as marriages are down. You need to increase the base for this scam as the incentives to go to court by giving a way free money is not enough when the customer base is dwindling. This is a sick bunch of people making money on other peoples misery so don't have any illusion of what is coming your way and why. You have the set up here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/kangaroo-divorce-courts-and-their-sini…

The state of family law will not change since if you stop incentivize women by financial gains going to court (alimony/child support) you will lose a lot of business for judges and their entourage. This is essentially a scam bankrolled by the judiciary to keep the money flowing. You have the setup here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/kangaroo-divorce-courts-and-their-sinister-business-model/ In the best interest of the child there should be zero financial gains in filing for a divorce (alim…

The agenda is to not play the game which is rigged against you from the beginning. The judiciary has all the incentives to keep this going as they make a lot of money on it. Give away free money and take the children away, free money always get you customers. You have one example of this vicious set up here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/5-eus-kafka-setup-a-rigged-legal-system/ As a fact you don't need to play these games and no you want be lonely as there are always many ways that you can…

Well, my experience with postnuptial agreement (marriage agreement) is that not much consideration is given to them by courts. If you run into the wrong judge, he/she will railroad you anytime they feel like it. Agreements, contracts and laws are for some courts optional and it is not much you can do about it. You have one example here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/ This happened in France but I doubt that it is any better on the other side of the Atlantic. Once married it is a lottery wh…

"Family courts are corrupt". This is not even a court, it is a farce of an attempt to mimic a kangaroo court as we know that they don't really bother following any law nor due diligence as the outcome is well known before the start of the process. One example here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/ This is just a way of the judiciary (judges, lawyers, etc.) to make money on family affairs by providing economic incentives (free money, lifelong in many cases) to one party just to keep their bus…

For sure having a good father in your life is crucial and in many instances life saving. You have the research backing things up on this, I have summarized it here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/8-in-divorces-shared-parenting-is-in-the-best-interest-of-the-children/ There are people advocating for 50/50 M/F representation in bringing the children up but they are up against the judiciary (judges and lawyers) which is making tons of money by incentivizing females (wife) to have sole custody …

I wish I knew this before moving to France. In my home country alimony was abolished long time ago, I did not even know that French courts could interfere in my marriage and decide about my children. A big thank you to EU and their bureaucrats. This is why I have this blog to warn men about what can happen if you move around Europe. EU has set it up so local courts and lawyers can make some money....

I don't think so, but maybe Gabriel (above) knows..the first one I had was a half-educated male, and the second court full of women (3) which did not make things better.

Yep in most countries. However, it seems that in for instance in Canada they have lowered the bar to co-habitant just to make some money.

This is how you make money...you see to it that the father have nothing to gain and everyone knows (wife) that there is free money to collect...this is how you run a lucrative business

ok, the basic child support should be determined by a statutory basic living cost for the child not determined by your income if you are not willing to share the burden of bringing the child up. Well about the 50/50 split of your assets you acquired during the marriage (not before the marriage) should be the basic even if one has earned more during the marriage as for most you work as a team to bring your children up and as such you should split what you have accomplished ...and after that it is…

This is naturally how things should be, basic child support and no alimony (who on earth want to pay for someone who do not want to see you and in many cases steals your children). The basics here should be that you split 50/50 what you have acquired during your marriage, you arrange how to take care of your kids and that should be it. No need pay for courts, lawyers, etc. and the money could instead go to bringing the children up. But this will never happen as it is too much money at stake for …

I still think that the incentives of free lifelong money is a major contributor to this situation and it is borne out by the facts that overwhelming majority of child support and alimonies are awarded to the ex-wife and that women are in clear majority of initiating divorces. The basics for this biased incentive is quite clear, to bring in as much money for the so-called judiciary as possible. You cannot really blame women for wanting free money (who would not) but the blame should squarely be w…

It will certainly be used by women as it will give an upper-hand in a divorce and who would believe a father's allegation of abuse??? with courts that are biased to the degree that they make a second-hand car dealership look like a bastion of truth. The whole system is setup against the father already, I know as I have gone through this Kafka state of kangaroo courts. Good summary but I would say that "Well the judge believes her, and throws out the prenup", the judge does not believe her or anything else, he is in it for the money, he and his entourage of lawyers can make by a substantial amount by ignoring a written agreement. I know, I have gone through this myself with even worse result. This is the incentive for wife's to go to court by the so-called judiciary just to have as much business and money as possible. I guess Finland as Sweden does not have alimony to drive people to court for free money so there would be substantially less resistance from the so-called judiciary since they do not lose a lucrative business....on top of that child support are quite reasonable done by the governments and as consequence no incentive to go to court.... In Sweden, in the majority of divorces shared parenting is the norm. Unfortunately, in many countries courts make a lot of money by interfering with family affairs…

I totally agree with this article and I can provide you with some additional research showing that fathers are key for children's welfare and outcomes in life in divorced families. You have it here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/8-in-divorces-shared-parenting-is-in-the-best-interest-of-the-children/ So, essentially the vast majority of courts decisions to have the father removed from his children are detrimental to their health and psychological wellbeing. This is essentially slavery and forced labour but will not be considered as such because this an annual multi-billion dollar industry in many countries for the so-called judiciary. The terms of a marriage contract is a really bad one, even if you got all prenups in the contract as no one will honouring them. This is about making money for judges and lawyers. It's not about children nor the contracting law. Well there is a incentive for one of the party (mother) to go to court and make some free money out of it and for the so-called courts to fleece you. So, why do you think two adults are not able to solve a simple problem, but actually need a shallow court of knowledge of the situation to step in. "Best friend with the divorce lawyer" I totally agree with that comment. You have the judicial setup here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/kangaroo-divorce-courts-and-their-sinister-business-model/ If you thinking of marriage... Don't

Marriage laws in most countries are absurd and that is if the so-called judges even bother to take them into account when they are busy make money for the judiciary. You have one analysis here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/kangaroo-divorce-courts-and-their-sinister-business-model/ And yes they will take your children from you even when they know that they ruining their future. A nice system we have set up...so you are right never get married...

Mad courts, this is how you get the upper hand in a divorce with corrupt judges in a corrupt system https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/ That anyone put any importance to these kind of allegations in a divorce is beyond my belief...

Yes, this is how you make money for judges and lawyers, it is quite easy you just provide one of the party with free money and you will be busy making money. It is an absolute wicked system where kids and fathers' wellbeing comes second to make money. And this was introduced and enforced by EU, it is a very tilted union we have.
/r/MensRights10/03/22 09:18 AM

Yes certainly, since the EC really wants to feed the so-called judiciary in the member states by allowing a divorce to take place anywhere where you live not in the country where you originally signed the marriage contract. https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/5-eus-kafka-setup-a-rigged-legal-system/ It is just a really wicked system that is setup for you Europeans, so don't get married and don't have children if you want to be out of range of these people....

The so-called judge shut me up entirely , not one thing could I provide as division of property, marriage agreement to separate our economies, etc., these guys are just after money, nothing else, that is why you make all the incentives for one of the party (wife) to have as much business as possible. Have nothing to do with justice, law, or the best interest of the children. I suggest you move to a country which has not ratified the UN convention to repatriate alimony and child support and start…

I have no idea and I have no idea what they know about this, when we had some exchanges by email we never got into the issue of their mother, I just rant on occasions about how corrupt this french judiciary is and that I miss them very much. They are ok, both in university studying in the STEM area, at least I got 10 and 13 years to teach them what they can do and the opportunities they have until the little french judge took me out of their equation. My youngest daughter had a rough time when she was in high school, but I think now she is ok (she got some mental problems and wanted to live with me but I could not afford to have these little french shits of a judiciary (sorry about the language) destroy things where I am). It was the same here, as a father of two girls at the time 10 and 13 you are the god, you take care of them, show the world, teach them what is right from wrong, stand by weak kids/people. I don't know what to say, the outcome is really bad in what ever you decide, just to have the so-called judiciary to treat you as a criminal and making money out of other peoples misery, what a job. I stopped at 25,000 EUR in lawyer/court fees and had to retire at 48, leave my daughters behind and move out of Europe. They, the so-called judiciary, run this business like a second hand car dealership, flunking laws and procedures, just to make money by giving the alimony incentives to go to court. I have tried myself for years to have them correcting things but to no avail. Unfortunately for my kids I will probably never see them again. So, stay out of marriage when you have these kind of peo…

False allegations is the way things go when they go bad (I know). Never mind the children and their future and their mental health as long as you can make things difficult. Unfortunately, this soon to be ex is probably going to take a long time before being an ex as this is how the so-called judiciary makes money. Maybe the judiciary and judicial officers should be a bit educated on the law and how to run their so-called hearings. What they do in their in their vocation causes tremendous harm to our children. You have one story here: https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/
/r/MensRights17/01/22 12:14 PM

They don't....it is just for the judiciary to make money ... who do not want free money.... this is a joke on all fathers and men.... let's make some money out of the guys and take the children from them. Whao is this what we voted for????
/r/MensRights26/08/21 01:44 PM

And that is why we do not need alimony, but would the judiciary allow that? Having their money machine going broke???
/r/MensRights26/08/21 12:09 PM

You must be a lawyer benefitting from lower the bar (not married but had some relationship) to have as much money coming in as possible (you are a joke of law and justice). So if you rich enough it is ok to pay and especially for lawyer fees. you are not joking are you, I had a division of property and a marriage agreement to separate my economy...did that work? No, we want the so-called lawyers and judges to make some money. Good bye to you and your bunch
/r/MensRights28/07/21 02:01 PM

This how courts make money.... just give away free money and if you do not pay jail is waiting for you... this business model for judges and lawyers must be the best setup in history. Yes, this how the so-called judiciary works making money for judges and lawyers....if you do not go to court there will be no free money...keep the business going and hopefully more men will know this setup before it is too late
/r/MGTOW23/07/21 12:28 PM

The same setup as the so-called judiciary....Free money get customers (alimony and child support for stolen children) and everyone is happy from judges to lawyers....Free money and service on someone else expense do attract customers after all....

I will pick up on "divorce laws" as the so-called judiciary is in on this full steam just to make money by providing the incentives for one part to get (in many cases) lifelong free money just to fill up the courts. Unfortunately, many men discover this scam too late and will be stuck in slavery for ever. Until more are aware of this scam before marrying/co-habit it is a slow moving cultural change. The breakdown would certainly be more rapid if more men were aware of this judiciary scam.....
/r/MGTOW214/06/21 11:52 AM

Agree to some extent. But what you earn together during the marriage should (not what you have before marriage) be divided half half (and you can do that without courts and lawyers yourself) as you supposed to work as a team and you as a husband should know what is going on so there is no excuse not to terminate the thing when it does not work out. But enslave you for life in many cases is just a way for judges and lawyers to make money by alimony and child support for stolen children is not ok.…
/r/MGTOW202/06/21 01:12 PM

I can agree with dividing 50/50 what you have earned together over the years but then giving free money for life (in many instances) is just insane way of having the courts packed with people. If you have children they (judges) will certainly steal them from you and on top of that make you pay for it??? This is really a corrupt system. I know I have gone through this myself....

Yes, I thought the marriage agreement and division of property would be solid and honored. I don't pay twice for the same civil matter. And giving me the right to see my Swedish children every second weekend when the reason my now ex-wife was in France in the first place because of my concerns for my children....Hmmm and as a judge you don't run a court like a second hand car dealership and you see to it that the father have a chance to speak and present facts which was never granted.

Yes marriage rates are down so they start to go after co-habitants to make the money coming. They do not give a crap about children's welfare as long as they can make their money. Yes but this was after all a new industry that could have captured by anyone, including women... so what are they complaining about, they could just have started up their own companies and make some money. And add to that, that computers and software were a completely new field and industry some 30 years ago. Don't you get it? Before the so-called lawyers and the so-called judges could only access marriages in their business and when people start to not marriage, they got into co-habitant to make money. Because most do not know about the little judiciary and its money making machine until it is too late (I did have no idea about these people, judges and lawyers, that could make you a slave for life, just to make some buck out of other peoples misery). Yes, when it comes to divorces Sweden got it right. The basics in a divorce is to divide up 50/50 what you have acquired together and after that you owe each other nothing, you share 50/50 to take care of your children and bring them up as best as you can with no courts involved. Less than 2% of divorces goes to court in Sweden as there is no financial incentive (alimony). This is how it works where I come from but that would make the money machine to stop and we cannot allow that to happen and i…

This is a joke if it was not for the dire consequences for children and fathers. Where I come from (Sweden) you split 50/50 what you have acquired together during the marriage and after that it is zero in alimony, you both take care of the children the best you can. And most importantly you do this by yourself no courts or lawyers involved. It certainly would, I am not sure if there is any research out there but I believe that losing your father in either way is detrimental to children in many ways particularly if he was the cornerstone of the family. You have one reference here "Preschool children in joint physical custody have less psychological symptoms than those who live mostly or only with one parent after a separation. In a new study of 3,656 children, researchers from Uppsala University, Karolinska Institutet and the research institute CHESS show that 3-5-year-olds living alternately with their parents after a separation show less behavioural problems and psychological symptoms than those living mostly or only with one of the parents.…

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for (I worked with this group some 20 years ago on other topics) but they conclude that alienating one parent is not good for children "Preschool children in joint physical custody have less psychological symptoms than those who live mostly or only with one parent after a separation. Still trying to clear this up after soon to be eight years. But it seems that no one has any oversight over these people. Non in the EU "judiciary" can do anything so I am trying to go through the French legal system but I am not particularly optimistic that anything will come out of that....it is really a f*cked up system we have set up where nothing can be corrected nor rectified...but I am trying as I would like to take care of my daughters whom I have not seen since the crap started. Yes the legal system really give good incentives for one side. About the risk, where I come from if going through a divorce, you split 50-50 of what you have earned together, no alimony, and normally you share to take care of your children so there is essentially no or little risk and little incentives to go to court (less than 4% of divorces). I have gone through this once in an uncompleted divorce which was the biggest mistake of my life (not to complete it). I got a fairly good paying job in …

As someone said Prenups or any marriage agreement is useless. A false accusation of some criminal act comes in handy, I know from own experience. I had a division of property done (50/50) which is fine and then a marriage agreement of separating our economies (so I did not have to pay twice) before she filed for divorce which she did not follow through. The little french court then gave a s*it about the division of property and gave all my possession I had acquired during my six years in Paris a…

This system is really sick, no accountability, abuse of power, immunity in whatever you decide about other peoples life, suppression of truth and facts, and then you can decide whatever you want about someone else life. When it should be, a wrong decision or wrong judicial process by a judge and you are out, in wrongful convictions the judge should serve the time that victim has served which would see to it that due process is done by these people. That the judiciary is the only power to correct…

Totally agree with you, there is so much crap out there particularly in the so-called judicial system where judges have no accountability and are above the law, to fill this forum with relevant info on wrongdoings that most men/people don't know about until they are stuck in this crap of a system. you have one here that is absolutely mind boggling https://illusionoflaw.wordpress.com/what-is-this/

Yes the problem is that they only want to have so-called equality when it is in their favour not the other way around....and we have all the corporate media backing up these claims of being discriminated and no criticism is allowed.

If you had time to read the link/post I hope you understand that these EU laws that allows jurisdiction of braking up a marriage in another country flaws the whole freedom of movement, particularly if you have no way to protect yourself with a marriage agreement that should be honored in accordance with the same EU law that allows jurisdiction. Yes you are probably correct, unfortunately. Although, one good thing with UN is that the staff and their spouses can only file for divorce in their home country so you know what is expected and coming. If you for instance work in Hungary for a year their laws would be applied in a divorce and I guess not many people know what that would mean in the end.

Yes, you are correct that after a division of property that is it in Sweden, but I took a further insurance and made a post-nuptial agreement that specifically states that there should be no spousal support after that date (as I knew she was about filing for divorce). This separate filing with the Swedish court on zero spousal support took me 8 months for European Commission to address and what a surprise no they flunked it with no explanation. This court filing should according to the so-called…

If it is about equality then it should be equality on all fronts not only selectively benefiting women. For instance when it comes to courts there is an extreme bias that benefits women and that in many cases put men in a position that has nothing to do with the law. I think maybe it would be beneficial to add a flair to disseminate men's right research to make it available to a broader audience so that some can be used as arguments and try to change how things are perceived and done currently. And maybe structure it a bit with different sub fields.... So why not a Men's right research flair?

I guess we have some bias in this sample as it concerns low income individuals but nevertheless. I just came across this from Irish Independent "We know this thanks to Dr Roisin O'Shea. The family law researcher observed 493 judicial separation and divorce cases in 2010, which are ordinarily held in private. But she couldn't find a single case where the wife was ordered to pay maintenance for children or a spouse, and had only seen the courts order joint custody in two cases. We know that in mos…

Thanks, that is a start (J store normally has solid research). I will read it through and see how close it gets (I will come back later on this). It would of course be good to have some research/idea about the percentage of divorces that the custody goes to the mother and father is left with visiting rights, child support and alimony. I will try to check myself as well....thanks again for taking the time

This system is really sick, from research we know that spending half time with the father and half time with the mother is the best for the child and then we have these half-educated people sitting and deciding the opposite and harming our children. Unfortunately, I have passed that sum in alimony to my ex-wife already against a previous division of property and marriage agreement to have no spousal support from that breaking up of our economic ties which the judge did not even make single note of in his decision. On that note, it is really a sick system we have set up where the economic incentives for only one of the parties to go to court are substantive, you would probably be an idiot not to do it. On top of that you as a father you are forced to spend money on some half-educated lawyer and have your children taken away. I have sent in a complaint to the European Commission about the violations of EU law but this will take a year or two before any reply so the easiest might be to follow the blog. About the video above, yes it is crucial to have a good lawyer but these are not easy to find and the three french one I went through I just wasted large sums of money on negligent scammers.
