The point is: barring a few cases, there are no "better traits" in nature. The goodness or badness of a trait depends on the environment. Evolution doesn't select what is "better" in an absolute, metaphysical sense; evolution selects what is capable of surviving and reproducing in certain environments, and sometimes these traits may run counter to our current moral views.

There's no way to choose better without reviewing what you "like and want", if the guys you like and want always end up being bad choices.

Being in love is being emotional. There's no logic to love; it's purely emotional. If you're with someone for "logical reasons," you don't love them. Love is suffering, love is madness, love is doing unreasonable things. People don't date because is logical to do so, they date because they feel this unbearable desire to be with the other person. To give up on the irrationality of love is to give up on love altogether. Reason and love are irreconcilable.

Well, if this concept of love is false or is somehow invalid, then true love doesn't exist and dating in general is worthless and a waste of time.

I mean, by pure, cold logic, you're not wrong. But love, at least at one point, used to mean liking someone despite their flaws (or perhaps because of their flaws). It's supposed to mean something that transcends this purely utilitarian calculus. It's supposed to be beauty, and it's beauty because of this acceptance of the other person. But again, by pure, cold, utilitarian logic, you're not wrong.

I think the Red Pill has truly taken over the culture. Even people who don't identify with the "Red Pill" label have accepted that physical attractiveness is the most important factor in relationships. You might think this is "obvious," but I don't think it was at certain point in time, and the "Blue Pill" belief (at least, what was formerly called the Blue Pill) was that personality is the most important factor, but even the people who label themselves as Blue Pill on this sub seem to no longer…

Well, it wasn't at all clear that you were referring ONLY to those who complain on the internet...

Why should he inhibit his desire? We usually inhibit impulses because of the negative consequences that come with giving in to them. If there are no negative consequences, why should a man suppress his desire?

This question can be asked about literally anything, except the most essential things in life. "Why do you want to watch movies? I never understood their appeal." Anything can be rationalized into nihilism. The real answer is that our desires are irrational, and we need this irrationality to have motivation.

Nothing is a right. Rights only exist as long as there is a State to grant them—and that State can transform whatever it wants into a right.

I think the idea that everyone will eventually end up in a happy and healthy relationship is mathematically impossible and we should stop spreading the idea tbh because it causes discontent when people are faced with reality. You're not wrong, but the same thing can be said about pretty much everything in life. It's impossible for everyone to get what they want; and even getting what you want won't make you happy, because once you get it, you'll want something else and suffer for it. That's the …

Not all chads are bad people, but some are. And they're having a lot more sex than the average guy (let alone incels). Thus, these guys are being rewarded with sex despite their bad behaviors. And I guarantee that almost no one (if anyone) actually believes that all attractive guys are bad and all ugly guys are good. It would be insane to believe that. This discussion only exists because people misinterpret what incels are trying to show: that moral qualities are irrelevant in dating. Actually, …

It's not exactly that we expect women to choose based on morality; that's just a response to "you're an incel because you're [insert moral failing]". Incels don't fail with women because they're bad people (even though they might be); because clearly being a bad person isn't a problem for attractive men. But then again, it seems a bit contradictory that women complain about men's behavior all the time, yet still choose to reward horrible men with sex.

The point is not that all Chads are bad people and all ugly men are good people. The point is that looks are what really matter; moral qualities are (at least in most cases) irrelevant to romantic/sexual success.

Well, the person I was replying to said that she didn't understand where the hate was coming from, so I explained. If you don't want it/don't matter to you, just ignore my comment. It's not like I was talking specifically to you.

a lot of men were monks at a time and/or celibate Well, i don't know the statistics, but i think it was far from the majority. Besides that, a lot of those were basically forced into this. Someone who puts sex on such a high pedestal as 90% usually means he hasn't had much of it. I was saying that having access to women is the reason 90% of men do anything. "Having access to" doesn't just mean (although encompass) having sex, but things like having a girlfriend and a family. Of course, not all m…

"Societies job" is determined by its members, which means it can change. Besides that, without the expectation of being rewarded at very least with a family, a lot of men will simply see no reason in participating in society. Saying "it’s not societies job to get your dick wet" will never change this.

The hate comes from not being chosen + women seemingly choosing horrible guys all the time. It's like an employer not giving you the job and then giving it to a guy who obviously seems like a bad choice, and that bad choice being confirmed in the future. I'm not saying the hate is justified, I'm just explaining the thought process.

That's exaclty how it is. It seems that you are completely unaware of how much sex matter to men. It matters a lot, and i mean A LOT. Having acess to women is the very reason at least 90% of men do anything. If a man cannot have sex, then the whole purpose of society begins to lose meaning for him.

Well, i'll admit that i'm not really aware of the data. I don't really know if male sexlessness/romantical loneliness is rising, just trying to predicit what would happen if that was the case. Anyway, can you give me the sources? Got curious.

Now, I understand that the idea of an “incel apocalypse” is ridiculous if all these frustrated men we’re talking about are just a couple of weirdos living in their parents’ basements. The story different if a significant percentage of men are feeling frustrated and lonely. That doesn’t mean there’s going to be a violent revolution, but it’s hard to imagine society not getting worse in some way.

No, they also can let the incel apocalypse happen.

Maybe nothing. But one thing is certain: there is no way all these frustrated virgin men will ever reach enlightenment and stop caring about sex and love once and for all. The suffering and resentment will only increase if things continue this way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
