It wasn’t the catalyst for public shaming. I’d say the public shaming started with wanted posters in the 1800s, but the information wasn’t put directly into people’s homes (now into their hands). I’ve been gone a few years and have found more freedom and privacy in some of the oddest places. Places the US gov’t rags on hard. I’m ok with not going back. My family wants to see me??? I’ve had some pretty demanding positions and been in some pretty precarious conditions… What? I’m not a fat man, but this claim is ridiculous. First off, absolutes are generally not real.
