Most women out there don’t get rape threats. They do face some form of sexual violence some time in their lives. For the rest of it, men and women face very similar problems. Manipulation, gaslighting, emotional blackmail, cheating partners etc. You’re phrasing it like women are some wonderful beings without any bad side and men are some violent bastards waiting to do something bad to women. That’s not how the real world works. Both sides have shitty people. And both sides mostly just get their …

I don’t understand. I didn’t say your husband isn’t awesome.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/25 09:44 AM

I propose talking and listening to a child, before you come to a problem. You know, things responsible parents do. If a child grows up to be a full blown incel because his parents didn’t pay enough attention to his struggles, it’s the fault of the parents.

Existence of this sub doesn’t prove that men can’t enjoy themselves. I come here for laughs and I don’t know a single man who would unironically come here to post random stuff. Most men out there aren’t on Reddit at all, you see frustrated men here and extrapolate that on all of us. You’re just showing you don’t know sh*t about men, which is fine, many men often don’t understand women either. And that’s one of the main reasons for ragebait on male-female relationships on the internet. I enjoy my…

It’s funny how women always comment that guys have no clue about their body and yet they keep spouting this non-sense about “guaranteed orgasm in men”. No, men absolutely don’t have guaranteed orgasm. We’re human beings, not robots. The lack of orgasm happens to men as well, whether it’s psychological, alcohol induced, chronic ED or something else.

That’s great and I’m happy for you but honestly I don’t see how it’s related to the fact that there is a lack of empathy towards men. And that doesn’t mean there is lot of empathy for women either - they struggle even more. Just because we don’t see something doesn’t mean it’s non-existent.

My future son may struggle with dating, but if I ever catch wind of him writing hateful and disgusting things online then I will rebuke him. How about doing something to help him not to struggle and not to become one of those men in the first place instead of intervening only when he becomes hateful towards women?

Wait a second, we here all the time that women are trying to protect themselves from unwanted attention and they try their best not to look interested in a guy they aren’t interested and yet it’s just goofing around. Most people who flirt don’t do it to goof around, especially not women when they know they won’t be able to live because a guy thinks he has a chance.

Lol, yeah, it’s criticized so much that there were countless of women drooling over Damiano from Moneskin and no one was batting an eye.

Once a person is 24/25 Most people are pretty immature even at that point - I don’t understand why so many people put this period as some moment when you suddenly become so aware of things.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/25 11:52 PM

Thank you for doing that, I understand how overwhelming it can be. Some people will just never believe women because they never had a meaningful relationship with a woman which is truly sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 08:53 PM

I think it’s because men know women will sometimes tell them stuff to avoid hurting them and they apply that logic with everything. Also, big harm of pornography and belief that women are obsessed with big penises.

That’s the primary reason. If it’s not, it’s not a date, but a transaction, sex scheme, etc. All things you mention are bonuses on top of that - why I would care about common goals if I don’t have romantic feelings for that person? Otherwise it would just be a friendship. Yes you do - markets imply selling, which implies transactional thinking, which implies you’re dealing with things that could be bought and sold. Therefore, you see people as objects that are sold. There is no such thing as a d…

If you think you’re selling yourself I definitely feel sorry for you. I’m not selling myself to anyone. Because I’m not a commodity nor is a person on the other side, and relationships aren’t financial transactions. People date because they look for emotional support. So no, there is no such thing as a “dating market” unless you treat people like objects.

I literally never said that people will never cross huge distances to meet other people, it’s just that it doesn’t happen that often, especially if that person is broke. And I didn’t do it just to get laid, but because that was my first GF and I was much younger and had huge tolerance for risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 11:28 AM

Oh man, believe me I don’t - I travelled hundreds of kilometers to meet my first GF. But now I’m more cautious.

There is, it’s just not that huge. Dating pool for most people consists of other people in a close geographic area and from there, acquintances or other people connected with their acquintances. Most people end up marrying people they meet in high school, university, work or on some other place where they meet. After that it becomes much harder for men and women to meet someone.

Thinking of human relationship as a market is a peak of idiotism and capitalist brainwashing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 01:50 PM

It’s not a pool, unless you’re able to travel in any part of the world, learn any language and settle with any culture. Even though our world is more connected than ever before, there are many constraints limiting our dating pools. By that logic men and women should never complain about people they’re surrounded with but go and date the most fitting people on other part of the world. It doesn’t work like that. We could all do more when it comes to abusive behavior not being normalized, with that…

I see where you’re coming from but just for the record, some women are also willing to have sex with animals and do various other sick stuff (check out the book My secret garden which explores sexual fantasies of a number of women including incest, pedophilia, ra4e fantasies etc). For example there was a beast character from the game call Mass Effect and there was plethora of women online simping for it and saying it’s so fuckable. It’s just that men are much more vocal about that and women have…

That may be your experience but I’ve seen extremely hateful content which goes completely unsanctioned. Red pill forums have always been more hateful, the discussion was about quantity, not intensity. RPers have more media coverage and loud spoke persons with huge marketing like Tate.

Doubt - there are whole subs that prove it’s pretty similar (TwoXChromosomes, FDS and stuff). Which is again, a loud minority. As I said, most men and women end up with someone, so we end up with people like OP who become bitter.

On Reddit men and women both throw angry bitter tantrums about opposite gender. And most men eventually end up with someone so this is a loud minority.

Male loneliness epidemic has nothing to do with that but with the modern age. And it’s not just men, women are lonely as well.

It’s completely possible to have a short offspring even when you’re tall. My stepbrother is shorter than me, even though his father was much taller than mine.

I heard many times from women that their relationships with other women were horrible and there was lot of jelaousy, faking empathy etc. My mother works in female collective and she often talks about the way her female coworkers treat each other. It’s definitely not one-sided.

Wider society absolutely has problem with men having preferences and you repeating it does not won’t change that. As a men I know much better what men face than you.

If the same type of comment is posted 1000s of times across different mediums it stops being fringe and exception and becomes a norm.

Just because you don’t have a problem with it doesn’t mean no one has. Many people absolutely do have a problem with men just stating their preferences, asking them consistently what they offer to have such preferences, telling them no one cares what men want or that they can become gay if they don’t like women etc. Ignorant stances like yours are also part of the problem.

Men and women aren’t the same. In most parts of the world pursuit of women is what persists and women have more to risk than men by having sex with strangers; unwanted pregnancy, many STDs that are easily detectable in women aren’t so obvious when men have them, there is a fact that average man is much stronger than a woman etc. That’s why I understand why women would hesitate to have sex really early and would like to wait a bit more. It makes complete sense.

Women have much more to risk by having sex with a stranger. A guy, not that much.

Maybe in the west and more progressive parts of the world - here, men lie because they know most women’t don’t want to be in casual relationships (or at least for it not to be well known). Also, women are much pickier when it comes to it, so they use various techniques to deceit them.

Male sexual attraction is a lot more visual. Not true at all. Dating apps confirm that women care about looks at least equally or even more than men when it comes to sexual attraction. No women would be “ohh, this guy has PhD in aerospace engineering, I would absolutely love for him to nail me”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 02:38 PM

I know way too many people with way too different tastes to say what you claim is true; some women absolutely love blonde men, some are crazy about black haired guys. Some women love when guy is skinny, other prefer muscular ones. Even Vin Diesel, which you say is attractive, won’t be to women who don’t like bald men (and they’re not minority). So it’s obvious you don’t have real life experience on this topic. Also, Europe centric ideal of beauty has been pushed on people and beauty isn’t just b…

And yet you’re here, writing essays about it. Pretty weird for someone who doesn’t care.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:07 PM

Finally a sane comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:07 PM

It’s pretty much same at this point whether it comes from males or females. Pretty fu**ed up place and bunch of people with various projections about opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:04 PM

Your logic breaks so horribly in the real world where there are many women who are with much less conventionaly attractive men and vice versa. It’s not a zero-sum game. Beauty is not an objective measurement but veryyy subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:02 PM

No one is talking about directions here. The poster is talking about obsfucation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/25 04:00 PM

We are all shallow when it comes to sex. Develop personality traits that women find attractive because our sexual attraction depends on personality to large extent. Make up your mind. There are no personality traits that are universally liked among women nor should a person develop traits only to be more attractive to someone - it needs to be authentic. It’s also weird to present specifically female sexual attraction as something which depends on traits when it’s true for men as well.

Okay, I misunderstood that part then. I’m not talking about author and those people in the thread here. I was talking about men in general. I think we both, in general, fail to see our projections. I would say it may even be less the case for women as they’re more interested in their emotional life but in recent years it changed, as more and more men start going to psychotherapy.

For many people, it definitely is uncomfortable. Not for me personally. I accept that there are dark corners of the human mind, but it’s highly controversial to talk about such stuff in mainstream media, despite the term subconsciousness being used everywhere. Also, we moved lot of psychological research outside subsconsciousness and generally look down upon some fundamentals set by Freud and Jung either because of their stances (which were normal at that time) or religious affiliation. I’m not …

How is that? Why are people more shallow for admitting they face the same deceptions? Also, it’s not like we’re all choosing to actively participate in self-deceptions. We’re all human beings with bunch of coping mechanisms, internal contradictions etc. Women often won’t say their preference out of the fear to be seen as shallow or hypocritical (e.g. if she’s a progressive and looks for a more dominant guy). Maybe at some point it becomes so deeply ingrained that it rests in subconsciousness, bu…

Just because women are individuals doesn’t mean there are no such things as traits that are preferred by bigger percentage of them. Let’s don’t be overly obtuse and politicaly correct here and let’s talk about the facts. I agree with your sentiment about this looking like a rant and yes, people judge us for the most random shit. We are, at the end of the day, highly conscious animals.

I think it’s an uncomfortable truth that’s right for both sexes (not just women like author suggests) and we all tend to do similar things more or less. A psychotherapist I follow talks about this a lot and how parents and traditional gender roles bend our minds and what we look for in a partner. For some reason it seems that it’s very controversial, especially in the west. I don’t think we are as rational as we pretend to be and are very much driven by collectively unconscious (I hope I’m using…

Edit: okay, I have read the whole post now and I can see why it can look that way How is it mansplaining to talk about the fact that both, men and women, tend to lie and project things? That’s something which many psychotherapists would agree with as well. I don’t think he personally claims that he understands human subconsciousness but points out an uncomfortable truth which is well known at this point (at least I think - I don’t know how educated people are about psychological concepts).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 10:55 PM

I’m not debating your personal experience but asking you to explain a term that isn’t obvious as you make it out to be. It’s okay, just say you can’t and move on then. And I was not talking about befriending someone so you can date them - that’s leading people on and bad. I was taIking about people developing feelings during their friendships, which obviously many people here (especially women) can’t wrap their hear around.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:39 PM

Before you know your friends, you, logically, need to meet them. And for attraction to develop, there needs to exist some time period. That’s not a “friendship vibe”, that’s a normal behavior, lol. Most people don’t go out and flirt with their friends. Friendship is not a vibe but relation between two people - I don’t see where you get this idea about it as a “vibe”. Many relationships have developed either out of friendships or from hooking up with random people, some people can’t develop them …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:20 PM

Explain it in your words. I know what these words mean in separate but I wonder what they mean to you combined. Friendship is something which is developed over time, I never felt “friendship vibes” with random people. Seems like a really shallow look on friendships.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:11 PM

There is no point in arguing man, it’s easier for some people to live in their fantasies of men always plotting something against women than in reality where people are complex emotional beings. They’re brainwashed while ironically talking about religious inhibition of some men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:08 PM

Really? So what about women here who say all their relationships developed by being friends with their partners first? Isn’t that also a sneaky tactic by your logic? Or, you know, people are actually complex beings and they end up developing feelings for people they spend time with? You seriously think it’s only men asking their friends out?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:06 PM

Thank you for saying this. There are far too many women around spouting this non-sense about men being dishonest because they asked their female friends out. No silly, it’s just that people end up developing feelings for people they spend time with. What do they imagine? People coming up randomly to each other and saying “hey, wanna be in relationship”?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:03 PM

What the heck is “friendship vibe”?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/25 08:01 PM

People can and do develop feelings during friendships. So this logic that it was never a real friendship could also be applied to women who asked their male friends out. Except that people aren’t simple but complex emotional beings and just because someone asked you out doesn’t mean it was never a genuine relationships. I heard many times from women themselves that they need to be a friend with someone before it develops into a relationship and won’t accept any advances before that. It’s normal …
