Yes. It's free. But there are not nearly enough seats, which are required to work with public insurance. That leads to an very high demand for those therapists that do have one. It is about safety. Sex trafficking increases when it’s legalized, but the same has not been found when it’s Decriminalized Can you explain why that would be or provide a source? It is not obvious to me at all why that would be the case. Legalisation comes with restrictions and rules for the profession. For example in germany, it is no longer allowed to have paysex without a condom. That obviously makes the profession a lot safer. Decriminalization does not come with those restrictions.

Very true. Been there, done that. I was in relationships with people I could not stand because sex. Then I figured it would be more fun and less stress to just have paysex. Yet the "clients" consistently objectify the person in a way that would be considered sexual harassment or worse in an actual workplace. In this case the client pays exactly for that.
