What's most depressing here? I'm taking these apps as an optimisation problem nothing else. If this doesn't work then I'll completely stop using it. What's wrong here?

But dating apps are good for passively getting results. Meeting people in real life takes a lot of time and effort and the job will allow it only on Sundays. That's why I am doing this.

I think it literally changed my life. It made me deal with my childhood and made me take care of myself. It is a very small book so I would absolutely recommend you read it at least once.
