I can have sex as early as the second date and having sex early or late doesn’t impact my opinion of them. I probably wouldn’t wait super long though (months) because I’d view sex as being used as a commitment bargaining chip. And I think sex with terms is not healthy and will lead to future dead bedroom issues. I want to date someone who finds me attractive and wants to have sex with me. If you can wait months, there is a problem IMO.

Women can have whatever standards they want. Just don’t lie and say that the bar is on the floor. I could say “the bar is low for women, I just want to date someone who is nice and sweet.” But I definitely won’t date someone ugly or fat that’s nice and sweet. So it’s wrong for me to say “nice and sweet” is the bar.

The issue is that there are plenty of subreddits that blatantly violate Reddit TOS but only subreddits that engage in wrong-think get banned. FDS is literally an incel subreddit on par with manosphere subs but is basically able to get away with it because they are women.

Let’s be honest. “Incel” is used primarily by people who wish they could still use ”faggot” “gay” as an insult.

I would absolutely trade the benefits of being a man for the benefits of being a woman plus having periods. I would become a ruthless MBA girlboss overnight and be able to get away with it because I could hold sexism accusations above the heads of any critics. I could quickly climb the corporate ladders by taking advantage of my looks/charms and the need for diversity hires.

Out of curiosity, if it’s the “bare minimum” why don’t more women filter for that quality? The amount of “I’m leaving my abusive partner” posts I see on this website is insane. And almost all the stories reveal red flags existed pretty much from day 1.

A motivated minority can win over an unmotivated majority in politics. I agree, but let's really think about this. There are 4 groups; liberal men, liberal women, conservative men, and conservative women. Conservative men and women are pro-life. They both are against hook-up culture and only have sex in committed monogamous relationships. Liberal men and women are pro-choice. They are not against hook-up culture and have sex outside committed monogamous relationships. The only people calling for…

This is unfortunately why women will lose abortion rights. When 30% of men haven’t had sex in the last year, what is your sex boycott going to do? Women claim this will be the end of hookup culture? 1, I never got to participate in it and 2, that’s a good thing as far as I’m concerned. I’m pretty damn pro-choice but TBH it’s been hard for me to be that upset over the recent SCOTUS opinion leak. It doesn’t effect me as a guy.

Additionally, if your love language is physical touch and you're a man, you basically need to be in a romantic relationship for that to be fulfilled. It's very socially acceptable for women to be able to practice skinship touching/cuddling. If a woman is feeling shitty due to bad news, she can easily find a close girlfriend to cuddle and watch trashy reality TV with on the couch. For men, cuddling with a guy friend and watching football together just makes you gay.

Probably, yes. I don't think the average man would care that much about having sex on the first date. He's just glad he's getting sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/22 09:42 PM
1

Absolutely. The earliest I've ever had sex with someone was the second date, and we ended up dating for 3 months. I ended up calling it off for unrelated issues. I've never viewed anyone less for having sex with me "too early." I care more that I'm getting "her best sex", because that's what I try and give every new partner.

Those aren't my 1RM for the record, these are just what I'm currently at when I do proper sets. 6', 165lbs. Even with all of this I still struggle to date.

If men know they want multiple kids, they need to start popping them out before 35+ too. Unfortunately men really don't have that luxury. I'm 31 and wish I could have started popping out kids 3-4 years ago. But all my peers that I tried to date didn't want to settle down and wanted to live a few more years of the single life. Now, trying to date 30-33 year olds, I'm running into women who want accelerated timelines. Sorry. I'll go find me a younger woman who actually wants kids because she wants…

I agree with you. I actually already replied to another commenter where I agreed men do not love/respect women on a genuine/deep level. They do love them, but only for the utility they can provide them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 07:33 AM
1

I never said there was systematic discrimination against men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 02:33 AM
3

Because men interact with more than just the women they are related to and are close friends with? Systematic racism is a great example of the concept I'm trying to illustrate. It doesn't matter if a black person experiences no racism and only has positive interactions with their friends and family. We wouldn't use those positive experience as evidence that marco/systematic racism exists and they can suffer from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 02:23 AM

They absolutely get love from women in their lives. But they do not get love from women collectively in society.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/22 12:26 AM
3

Respect and empathy. I also don't think a lot of people know what "macro" means when it comes to what I'm talking about. I made this comment in another reply. Women collectively do not love men. Men collectively do love women but their love is not a "deep/etherial" love of the gender. They love women because they provide utility to them. But women also collectively don't even love men for the utility they provide. Because their utility is disposable.

I genuinely do yes. I grew up around many strong/powerful women. Used to work in a field almost exclusively dominated by them. I admire the way they form and maintain friendships. I admire their creativity when it comes to how they express themselves through fashion, makeup, hair, etc. I think their dedication to their family, especially their kids, is incredibly admirable. I am honestly kind of jealous of the fact that they literally can create life with their bodies. I don't really have any ex…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/22 11:24 PM

The best part about your comment is that you think you got an "own" in on me but you didn't, because I agree with you. Men do actually care about women but they don't actually care about women. Men's care for women is purely based on a women's utility to themselves and society: "Women and children first"; men ought to save women because women are child bearers that can propagate their bloodline. Women "homemake" for a man. Providing love and affection to his kids and maintaining his household. W…

I am not using macro to describe a broad range. I’m using macro in the macro/micro binary to describe a “large-scale” opinion/sentiment. I argue that on a macro level women, even when married, do not love men. They treat their man as “one of the good ones” and still view men collectively negatively. You personally love men, that’s amazing! And I’m happy for you. But that doesn’t change my argument. The same way me saying “I personally love black people” doesn’t invalidate their arguments that sy…

I’m pretty pro-choice and politically active (vote in all elections, even local, even primaries) and it’s hard for me to be motivated to care about Roe being potentially overturned. I got on TwoX and all the femcels say stuff like “shame on you boys, no more hookup culture for you” as if the majority of men have ever actually benefitted from hookup culture. Sometimes as a man I feel like I understand the risk more than most women. I’ve legit had women (who are not on BC) tell me that we can switch to the pull out method after only dating for like 1 month. Not to mention all the amazing stories I hear of dead beat dads and shitty partners who were so obviously shitty from day 1 that fucking Stevie Wonder could have seen the red flags, yet some how meet the standards to have unprotected sex with.

Let's take a look at housing under that rule. What system seems more patriarchal? The capitalist system, where a woman is free to buy whatever property she wants wherever she wants, no matter how big or small, provided she has the money. The Marxist/communist system, where single family homes are reserved for married women who bear children (because they need more space) and unmarried women only get modest 1 bedroom apartments. You could further argue that a man wanting to be an intellectual is …

I would argue there are more overweight and obese women due to the fact that most of these studies rely on BMI to get their numbers which doesn't work well for men who work out a lot. With how big gym culture is I wouldn't be surprised if the number was really 10%-15% less for men.

I’m all for women not wanting to be hit on while they work out or wearing ear buds while they are commuting whatever. Theres so many places to hit in people where that sort of thing is encouraged. To acknowledge that is to ignore so many relationships that formed in the past because people were sitting next to each other on a plane or on a train and their only way to pass the time was to interact with people around them.

I’m 30 years old and was a late bloomer mainly due to extreme bullying and some light sexual assault in my youth. That coupled with undiagnosed ADHD made me a very anxious and anti-social person. I’ve only dated 2 people for about three months each. I personally feel that I would be a “bad” partner in the sense that anyone I date long term would have to be open to me navigating the struggles of long term dating for the first time. By not engaging in harmful rhetoric and checking when others who do. Even if it’s “just playful banter or jokes.” People listen and notice, and it leaves impacts on them. FDS is a perfect example of a misandrist space that, by simply existing, is negatively impacting men on this website. Being cautious is telling your friend where you are going, not going over a guys place first date, and googling him. Being cautious is not doing all those things because you think all men are secretly rapists/abusers until proven otherwise. I am careful walking around rough inner city neighborhoods because there is high crime, not because I think all black people are thugs.

Serious Question: Do you not think harmful rhetoric around entire classes of people can be bad for their overall mental wellbeing? Isn’t that the entire point around identifying and stopping racist or sexist rhetoric? I would rather have daughters. While it is harder to raise daughters than sons for a variety of reasons I feel like I'd have to "worry less" about them when they are adults. Worse case, they settle down with a beta bucks that will provide everything they need. They're way less likely to be a victim of violent crime, way less likely to be homeless, and now thanks to affirmative action 20-30 YO single women out earn their single male counterparts.

It’s a tradeoff. I personally would be OK with the arrangement of getting significant societal/cultural privileges at the cost of having to be the one to give birth. Also women have like 15 different kinds of birth control. The accidental pregnancy risk is basically non-existent if you approach casual sex with an ounce of common sense.

If you're not a top tier guy who can actually hookup with women the day you meet/start talking, and you're a guy who wants sex you need to be chatting, escalating to several dates (paying for them of course), and then you might have a change of having sex after 1-2 months of work. At that point I'd rather just go lift and jerk off to porn. The juice is great but it isn't worth the squeeze.

I was raised in a very conservative and Catholic family. Currently I am very much an Agnostic Liberal. I have unironically thought about conservative-maxxing, going back to being involved in the Church, and finding a nice trad Catholic girl to marry. When I used to be really involved with the church during university all the women I were friends with were way nicer than the majority of liberal women I meet. Like genuinely good, caring people down to their core. I had a lot of catholic friends fr…

“Playing sports as a child makes you taller” is this your opinion or a scientific fact? My guess is he is looking at correlation not causation. Sports self-select for tall individuals due to the advantages they have in athletic performance. Even in sports like Soccer where you would think height doesn't matter as much. Longer legs = longer strides. Longer legs = potentially harder strikes.

Millennials are already becoming the new boomers. Who do you think have all these spoiled misbehaving kids that are sending kindergarten teachers to the hospital? Hint: It’s not boomers. At least boomers had “family values” and shamed their peers for having kids out of wedlock. Millennials will end up being worse than boomers. Save this comment and come back to it in 20 years.

A lot of bisexuals do not necessarily want to date the same gender. But have no issue finding members of the same gender attractive and hooking up with then.

I agree with you 100% but I think one of the problems people have is that in places like AITA or relationship subreddits we only ever get one side of the story. And sometimes with a little more critical thinking and seeing how the OP is responding, and specifically which questions she’s ignoring, can often show there is more to the story. I can’t speak to your specific example but there was a post by a woman talking about how her husband gave her an ultimatum that if she didn’t loose weight he’d…

“Toxic masculinity” will always exist so long as women positively reward men who exhibit those behaviors. If women want to tear down the patriarchy and toxic masculine power structures they need to start positively reward, via sex/relationships, men who do not exhibit those behaviors. But this will obviously never happen.

I think for a “maximize the greatest happiness of everyone” goal you must argue that both men and women pursue people that are their “looks-match”/SMV. Obviously you can say “hurr durr let the market decide” but is a society that almost exclusively operates on the 80/20 rule, leading to declining birth rates and increased depression/loneliness/etc a “good” society to live in?

I’m 30 and this is why I’d never date someone over 30 (unless they were easily a 10/10). I never got to enjoy dating when younger, never had a girlfriend before (or one that lasted 3+ months). I want to be together at least 3-5 years before popping out kids. That just doesn’t work with an older woman.

I used to date someone who actually didn’t wear really any makeup. Just the occasional eyeliner. I both preferred that look and I would argue she had better/clearer skin because she didn’t spend the last decade layering makeup on her face everytime she wanted to leave the house.

While I agree with you if you’ve already gotten to the point of talking about sex/sexual preferences you pretty much already sealed the deal. I'm a former Catholic and the main reason I would never switch to regular Christianity is because it almost feels "wrong" in the sense that I still miss parts of being Catholic. So if I was going to lean back into being religious why wouldn't I just go back to Catholicism. At the end of the day my issues with Catholicism primarily stem from the institution of the Catholic church itself and less to do with the actual teachings (though I do have some disagreements there). I also find it a bit lazy…

Part of the reason I don’t date fat/chubby girls is because I’m paranoid they’ll use having a kids as an excuse to throw in the towel. Never heard of doing this but will probably start doing it early in relationships. I want to date a high value woman who understands that men have emotional needs and worries. I usually drop that I’m in therapy during the 1st or 2nd date. If she takes it well, it’s a good sign. Men absolutely want to settle down earlier but unfortunately it takes two to tango and right now one of the genders very much does not want to settle down. So we are expected to pretend we enjoy single life and freedom and get ready to accept desperate early 30s women when they’re ready. Thankfully I found the secret; find a mid 20s woman who actually wants to settle down and start a family before she turns 30s.

While women and men are definitely held to pretty tough standards I think anyone who is honest with themselves has to admit that male standards of beauty are just harder to meet. Focusing on just physique: A chubby woman can have her "beach body" with 6 months of dedicated training. A chubby or skinny man, to get the "lean/athletic" look, easily has to spend 2-3 years in the gym lifting. I'm 6' and 165lbs and my starting weight was 133lbs. Do people "owe you sex" in the ethereal sense that in a just/equal society everyone should be able to naturally find a partner to have sex with? Absolutely.
