yup. since the succubus left i've experienced a level of peace and joy in my home i didn't know existed. she's so wrapped up in her victim game that she's also become completely delusional, and her lawyer has been right there with her thinking she can just phone this one in, which does nothing but help my case in the long run. in fact, she is so engrossed in being a victim I genuinely doubt she is capable of ever experiencing real joy. while that isn't something i'd wish on anyone it couldn't be…

yup. now is the time to close your heart and open your brain. remember that person you were that used to give a fuck about her? well he's fucking dead now.

my mom is an abusive feminist narcissist that was a consistent source of misery in my life from puberty up until I cut off all communications last year. it breaks my heart, but this is the only way I stay sane. growing up with regular comments from her about having me castrated to make me more docile, among other things, sure was swell. thankfully I was blessed with a decent head on my shoulders (thanks dad!) so the damage was fairly limited. even though she had a very successful career before I…

if that is what the algorithm thinks is the best way to fuck with you. it's gotta have dozens of different ways of dividing families, including pitting your kids against you. tictok, or specifically its algo, is a demon in the form of software and code.

this is how things are going to go for her until she changes her tune. when she has to ante up with her evidence next hearing all of her lies are going to fall apart before their eyes. I see financial sanctions in her future, and with her working minimum wage part time jobs those are going to add up real quick

her declaration was something like 20+ pages of mostly bullshit while mine was 5 pages of truth. and now even the parts of hers that are true are being viewed with questionable credibility. t's funny how it works like that.

just came off a 7 day ban myself for jokingly saying Michele Obama is a man with zero consideration for an appeal... it isn't as bad as you think, it's worse

meh, it's a mediocre shit talking sub at best. another will just pop up organically to fill the empty space it leaves anyway.

TIL that the timing of the back injury that is preventing me from being able to work for the foreseeable future may be a blessing in disguise. sure, it hurts like hell 24/7 and it sucks not having a sense of purpose, but if it ends up saving me thousands in spousal support and the Succubus still has to go back to work full time then I guess it'll be worth it in the end. not going to get my hopes up, but the non zero probability it could even swing thing into my favor is a nice thing to consider.…

changing my gender in the app right meow. thank you for this little gem, kinda jealous I didn't come up with the idea myself. edit: the paradox goes even deeper... they do ask questions. apparently now it is a violation of Uber's terms of service to falsely identify yourself as a woman, and I was forced to acknowledge that with a very serious check box. I really want some of whatever the fuck Uber's legal team was smoking/snorting when they signed off on this happy horseshit. I smell a "you may …

the fuck it isn't protected, at least in the United States. you might wind up in prison in Great Britain for Wrongspeech®, but at least for now one is still protected to sling their racist garbage in a public setting here. Just remember that you calling someone's opinion hate speech today could just as easily be labeled as hate speech itself tomorrow, and once started this cycle never stops. Besides, it's impossible to have "hate speech" anyway. It's just speech with extra labels tacked onto it …

when my stbx was a few weeks out from giving birth to our son (who I delivered BTW) I was absolutely redlining around the house trying to get everything ready & comfy for them, so much so I needed stimulants I won't name here just to keep up the pace of those 16+ hr days. fast forward two years or so. I'm working metric fucktons of OT so we can afford the truck & cabover camper she wants so bad. I'm either gone (travel for work), home and exhausted, or looking after our boy. my absence and exhau…

Lol that's it? When my boy gets tired of trying to lay on top of me he just starts trying to drag me out by the arm. The girl gets all excited watching that she has to jump up and start licking my face. This routine usually starts up after the 3rd or 4th press of the snooze button.

Yup, going with easy silver bullets over don't the right thing has always been her MO, so I wasn't at all surprised when i first heard about the nonsense she decided to put on paper. But she got greedy and took her smear campaign way too far with her opening shot at me. Unfortunately i was also blessed with a disc injury to my lower back that laid the smack down on me not too long after she split, so the exercise I really need to be doing is out of the question until i can see some major improve…

Don't just delete the account, nuke it first. Content that one simply deletes from reddit is super easy to recover, while nuke reddit browser add ons make this much more difficult by editing the content before deletion, especially for more recent posts/comments. Do a search for "nuke reddit" and spend the $15 or so to get unlimited lifetime access. Also not a bad idea to set up an alt/burner account if you plan on coming here to vent (can be quite theraputic) anytime in the future.

It was fairly obvious that the mediator thought she was way off base refusing to accept any terms I gave even though she was trying to hide it. Didn't have any direct interaction with the succubus so I can only imagine how she came across, but judging from the mediator's reactions it wasn't pretty. The contradictions in her claims are more than apparent, and I would have a hard time with even basic life functions, let alone holding down a job where i'm trusted to make life and death decisions an…

Pull that rip cord brother, a home that you can't be yourself in is just a really nice prison.

Seriously. I'd be genuinely worried about myself without my two Belgian Malinois. With them around I couldn't stay in bed all day if I wanted to. They definitely present some logistical challenges now that I'm flying solo, but having a wonderful old local Lady that boards dogs and knows how to handle the breed eases the strain a ton. I have never known unconditional love stronger than what I've experienced from my dogs over the years. Anytime I find myself in those darker moments they're right t…

lol feminists and womens' rights advocates tend to get real quiet anytime the subject of selective service and draft eligibility gets brought up. "We demand equality with everything! Well, everything except for that one little part about choosing between prison time or possibly dying on a foreign battlefield. You boys can keep that one."

clearly she views her vows as mere suggestions. if you are ok with this then continue on with your marriage. if you are not it's time to move forward with your divorce. i'm in the latter boat myself, and things got a lot easier once i accepted that no matter how good things could be I still wouldn't be able to fully trust her as my wife. what's to say your's won't walk out again when you get diagnosed with a chronic illness or get in a major accident? hate to break it to you, but if she left aft…

one of many reasons why i changed the lock on our, or rather my, gate. what really pushed me over the edge of "yeah, you're no longer welcome here" was when she showed up to get some of her things and brought a complete stranger along without bothering to say a word until the woman was standing in my living room. her response of "haha sorry it didn't even cross my mind to say something ahead of time" only solidified that she has zero respect for me or my home.

more or less what I've been doing, and her messages paint quite the picture. kinda sounds like she lost access to most of them when she got a new phone because of her oddly limited inclusion of only a handful in her filings as evidence. but I definitely have the full log to show the world who she really is.

that part about nuking everything you built together is exactly what I'm being put through. i'll be the first to admit that I am far from the ideal husband and father, but at least I made the effort to try to get there knowing that even though it's inherently impossible to do I would still be better just from the process. After all of the shit I went through supporting the stbxw- recovery from alcoholism, severe post partum depression, to name a few- she gave zero support when I was in deep morn…

fuck, at this point I would happily celebrate 50/50. STBXW, aka The Succubus, has been refusing to allow me to even see my son out of vindictive spite and her own full blown delusional fears that I might try and take him from her, so I haven't even seen him since September. We'll definitely be discussing parental alienation when the subject of spousal support is on the negotiating table, and she's managed to dig herself a fine hole in that regard. The Succubus even went as far as deleting photos…

no, you haven't fully disengaged because you have chosen not to up until now. interacting with her in court is just an excuse, and if you keep it up you'll just find another one after the court excuse finally wears out. you might still be forced to interact with her, but how, or even if, you decide to handle her bullshit is entirely up to you.

we can not control the actions of others. what we have total and complete control over, however, is how we choose to react to those behaviors. in a lot of cases I've found that just giving a liar more rope to hang themselves with pays off in the long run. And when you're dealing with a narcissistic spouse you must make an effort to actively avoid their bait lest you fall into another one of their many traps.
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/25 04:47 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
