It's fine if you don't mind being circumcised, as long as you don't try to force circumcision on others (i.e. your children) My parents didn't give me that choice, and I wish I had my foreskin back. If they had left me intact and I had decided I wanted to be circumcised, I could have gotten it done. Since they cut me, I'm out of luck.

Adult circumcisions are a lot less painful, for two reasons. The infant foreskin is fused to the glans, and separating it is like ripping off a fingernail. The adult foreskin is not fused to the glans, and thus doesn't have to be ripped off. You can't give an infant enough anesthesia and painkillers to get rid of circumcision pain, whereas you can for adults.

"There is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all." - Colossians 3:11 "If you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing" - Galatians 5:2 "This is my life and my children and I will do what ever I feel is best." - So if you wanted to cut off your daughter's clitoris, I should be okay with that as well…

What condition does he have? A lot of problems that American doctors recommend circumcision for can actually be treated in a much less invasive way. My grandpa had to have his gallbladder out, but that doesn't mean that they should be routinely removed from infants.

Intact males urinate just fine. There is no social stigma nowadays, circumcision can hurt self-esteem more than being intact can, and hygiene is not a justification, because we live in a society with running water. Please don't circumcise any sons you have in the future.

It's not more hygienic. When an infant is circumcised, there is literally an open wound in their diaper with their urine and feces. Circumcised men are 8 times more likely to experience painful intercourse The foreskin is not extra, and in fact has many functions.

The point I'm making is that in countries were genital mutilation is normal, doctors will try to defend it. "I had a friend who, in 6th grade, got an infection and had to be circumcised" - my dad had to have his appendix out, should all infants have their appendixes removed at birth?

No, that's not all it says. "Five locations on the uncircumcised penis that are routinely removed at circumcision had lower pressure thresholds than the ventral scar of the circumcised penis" - i.e. the parts removed by circumcision are more sensitive than the parts that remain.

Most teenage boys aren't going around comparing penises. I don't know whether or not my friends are circumcised. And either way, the psychological trauma of having the most sensitive part of your body ripped and chopped off without your consent as a defenseless infant is far greater than any psychological issues due to having different-looking genitalia. Also, the US Circumcision rate is now ~55%, so an intact boy won't be different any more.
