Yeah, that would be much easier than explaining why women should just accept that they make less money because they are women after controlling for every variable. Just toss some insults and hope you don't have to speak intelligently any more.

Why would you assume margin of error would shift it from 2 to 0? It's just as likely to shift it from 2 to 4. Source: math.

Right. The ADJUSTED pay gap is the metric you're looking for. Which I believe is around 5 percent.

Would it be possible to find the median of equal work when no two people have identical qualifications? Isn't taking the average of all full time workers the best metric possible?

The wage gap is the difference between total earnings of men versus total earnings of women. It's a quantitative number. How can that not exist?
