I really meant evolutionarily if woman were just surposed to be hot to get a mate to look after them. The cost rewards from both sides early on prob made more sense.

Also only a 100 years ago in developed countries people died at 30, so rest of life was 10 years.

The reason the divorce laws are the way they are, is because business, the government, the lawyers, basically everybody knows woman will spend money. Basically stimulating the economy by going shopping as a pass time.
