I just bumped into this subreddit because someone sent me a link to some post but yeah if I get a feeling that someone is “doing PUA” in interactions with me, I’d find a way to peace out. In fact I now have anxiety that someone may be doing it and pretending to just be a person. Feels very performative and dehumanizing, and I’d feel uncomfortable and tbh sad knowing they’re following scripts with a goal in mind.
