I agree it's not PPD, unless it's common for mothers to get lower sentences for murder of children than fathers. Don't have the stats for that. Her feeling like hell shouldn't influence the decision though. A serial rapist isn't going to get a lighter sentence because he regrets his decisions either.

I think we might have similar laws here in the Netherlands (not sure)but we still have dashcams. It's more of a need-be thing in my opinion. If an accident happens I'll just blur everyone else, I guess? Although I doubt that's even necessary in the case of an accident... I think it's better to protect yourself than follow a law that puts you in danger.

Depends on whether you believe you can cure sexual deviation. I think it's strange in this day and age that we say being gay is just innate and can't be cured but being a pedophile can be fixed. I think they're both incurable but the gay deviation doesn't hurt anyone, whereas we really can't be strict enough when it comes to pedophilia.
